Great tool for learning a new language
I have tried many translation/dictionary app’s while learning the Portuguese language. This app is by far the best to date. It gives proper definitions, whether it is a noun, adjective, preposition etc. You can save words/sentences for your private learning. They have developed a program for you to make personalized quizzes and flash cards. For some languages (English is one of them) they have lists already prepared by different groups. There is a paid feature which i have not tried yet. Trust me when I say this is a definite app you want in your learning toolbox. It is even good if you just want to broaden your vocabulary in the English language
Hidden translation limit - no response from the team
I've spent hundreds of hours adding translations to my library and carefully organizing them into categories. I realized at some point that my older translations were getting deleted - and discovered there is a hidden 4000 translation limit. After reaching out to the team twice, I've received no response about this. I have no problem with an explicit limit, but to silently delete your users' translations, and not offer a way to recuperate their lost translations - is horrible practice. I've never left a one star rating on anything and I'll gladly remove this review if you resolve this.
Strongly suggest a spelling mode
To make the experience even better, I have four quick feature suggestions: 1. Spelling Mode for Flashcards: Add a typing mode after reviewing flashcards to reinforce active recall and spelling accuracy. 2. Clickable Words in Example Sentences: Make individual words inside translation examples clickable so users can instantly look them up and save them without manual typing. 3. Auto-Pronunciation: Add an option across mobile and desktop to automatically play audio after looking up a word or sentence. 4. Verb Conjugation Exercises: Introduce interactive practice modules where learners can select specific verbs/tenses and type out conjugations. est un outil assez bon, il a tout ce qui est indispensable pour apprendre une nouvelle langue, cependant l’annuité et la mensualité sont intéressantes, leurs prix sont assez élevés pour une personne qui veut apprendre une langue. En restant réaliste, ceux qui utilisent le plus ces applications sont les jeunes étudiants et il est presque impossible de payer ces mensualités. C’est pourquoi je donne trois étoiles car c’est trop cher à payer.
Not worth the $ spent
You can obviously try the free trial but I can save your time - don’t! There’s free apps that do the exactly same thing BUT without the translation and pronunciation faults and wrong examples.
Best
This is the best app I have ever come across in my life. It’s so worthy every time I check a meaning of a word. It gives you all other meanings that are relevant or available in the world like one word can mean hundreds of meaning and it gives you a example and a sentence. It also has a feature of microphone. It also gives you an audio and then test you already. If you’re speaking correctly, I have never Felt such a worth it app in a while, and it’s miracle. It’s very very lovely yaar must try for the French learners or any language and particularly learning French so for French, this is the Best.

Can translate from English to English. Constantly loses server. Loses authorization.
I like it but
Please make the app recognize me and not constantly sign me out. And one more thing, when I open the translator, I'd like to see the translator itself first, not my search history. I use this app to search for words, and I do it quickly, but when I open it, I get a search, I start typing words, and the app switches to my search history, erasing everything I've written. I never need my search history. Thank you!

Il n’y a pas d’historique. Parfois l’appli ferme la page correction (4ème fois juste aujourd’hui) malheureusement le texte que tu étais en train d’écrire disparaît. C’est vraiment fatigant !
Qualche difetto da sistemare
App fantastica, peccato però che non si possa selezionare più di una lingua da imparare. Io devo continuamente cambiare tra inglese, francese e tedesco. Inoltre bisognerebbe un attimo rivedere la traduzione dei modi di dire, che spesso vengono tradotti erroneamente letteralmente.

Скачал обновление, заплатил годовую подписку, приложение стало работать через раз. Пишет сервис не доступен. Стало пользоваться не удобно и чаще не возможно. Обидно. Придется на другое переходить. Раньше Reverso был основным

Spaced repetition broken
I’m a Premium user and the main feature I paid for — spaced repetition in flashcards — simply doesn’t work. The app just repeats my entire vocabulary list in the same order every time. No intervals, no scheduling, nothing. I contacted support weeks ago and received no response. Very disappointing, and not worth paying for until this is fixed.
Great App can be refined to perfection
It still has annoying bugs. I submitted some suggestions. I hope they will fix it.
Spaced recognition not working
I’ve been looking for a dictionary app with flashcard feature and this was exactly it. However, when using the spaced recognition tool, I constantly get the same 5-10 words even though I have a list of ~100 words and I keep adding new ones. I tried multiple times to no avail.

Good but could be perfect
It's already very good but I feel a very great need to suggest you two rectifications/improvements: It is crucial to add language tone for languages that have different ways of using the verbs/adjectives, etc..., For instance, Italian. In fact all English sentences/words, etc... do only translate into Italian in an informal way and I cannot use it like that and need a formal translation too. And also under all translations appears a lot of samples which is very unnecessary and you can simply make it optional to avoid a messy and confusing page under every translation. I really do wish you consider adding language tone to your translation options because if i don't have it, i can no longer use your software. Thank you for your attention.

Любила это приложение, зашла и увидела как испоганили. Сделали примитивные функции платными, которые ты в любом бесплатном приложении найдешь, что я и сделала, скачала другой аналог, а это приложение спустя много лет удаляю, и никому не советую, друзья тоже отказались потихоньку. То есть бесплатно ты можешь делать корявый перевод и все, за все остальное нужно платить, за что раньше не нужно было, обычные функции как и во всех приложениях бесплатные. Голос носителей не различает, и заставляет теперь платить за голосовой ввод. Зашла, увидела нововведения, устала от предложений покупки подписки которые не сразу можно закрыть, нужно ждать пока загрузится (как рекламу), и потом закрывать. Потеряла время и приложение полетело в забвение. Разработчики странные люди, есть куча классных аналогов, зачем вы себе могилу выкопали, убрав самые базовые функции не понятно.

Медленное, глючное приложение. То, что Гугл переводит за секунду, здесь может думать 10 секунд. Иногда не переводит фразу, а начинает выдавать тексты, вместо перевода. Иногда не сохраняются слова, отмеченные звездочкой. Прежде чем писать, напишите нам на почту, попользуйтесь сами своим продуктом. Народ жалуется за свои деньги. Ну да, мы сами виноваты, что купили этот продукт.

Все было хорошо но с каждым обновлением все хуже. Хваленое продвинутое интервальное обучение выдает мне одни и те же выученные слова. Когда есть куча не выученных. Приходится заниматься в свободном обучении что в итоге не стоит подписки. Плюс примеры предложений со словами это отдельное веселье пытаться запомнить свое слово на примере учебника из физики. Перевод слова тоже не всегда корректный. Для обучения на данном этапе я бы это приложение не рекомедовал

Un feedback per l’interfaccia : quando clicco sull'ultima parola che ho cercato nella barra di ricerca, in molte circostanze rimane la (quasi inutile) stellina per mettere la parola tra i preferiti invece della (fondamentale) croce per cancellare la parola e farmene cercare un'altra. Questo, nel migliore dei casi, aggiunge due click inutili a ogni ricerca (la croce potrebbe stare fissa lì al posto della stella). Il fatto che ci sia la stellina è strano di per sé. Che a volte rimanaga è un problema. Che a volte lo faccia e a volte no è peggio perché ho automatizzato un movimento che a volte mi fa sbagliare. Che somigli alla croce è terribile. Insomma, inceppa l'azione più frequente in assoluto nell'app con una serie di difetti a catena. Vi invito a cambiare tutto.
Simply Awesome
I love this app, so easy to use.
Full of pushy UX anti-patterns
Their translation service is really good especially at finding contextual examples of words and idioms. The recent redesign of the app is pretty good too. What I'm giving this review 1 star for is for the pushy UX anti patterns that pervade this app. Two examples: 1) They keep pushing you to allow ad-tracking at least once per app cold start. 2) And they keep pushing you to sign up for their subscription service literally EVERY time you favorite a word or sentence. Look, I get it. You gotta make money and devs gotta eat. I'm a mobile developer myself. And I actually did have a subscription for a year. But this level of pushiness takes it way too far. If you're a product manager reading this review, please back off this level of aggressiveness or at least A/B test it or talk to your users. I refuse to throw any money towards any business that has this kind of aggressive attitude. You can lock features behind paywalls: nothing wrong with that. But don't pester or bully users to the extent that the app is almost unusable.
Great app but a few things to make solid for a renewal
-improve the quality of the voice speakers. Voices still sound robotic!! -add sections such as phrasal verbs, idioms, etc -add IPA next to the searched word -English collocations Thank you!

Было отличное приложение, очень удобно учить и записывать слова, но в какой-то момент, после обновления он перестал показывать слова и правильные ответы, ужасный бак, где ты вообще ничего не видишь, что выбираешь. Исправьте, пожалуйста, хотелось бы продолжить изучать язык

Visually is really a good update, but I had a problem with a list i created. In particular, there are no more saved words but in the web version they are available. So it’s an app bug

There’s nothing like seeing words in context. I like the new feature that helps me improve my sentences.
Ads are blocking access
I just gave a 5 stars but then I had another ad that block me from using Reverso even after I was redirected to a website (Fresh Plus) I still couldn’t get rid of ad even when I deleted the browser tab, Reverso still blocked my use of app with the same ad. I just deleted Reverso for the second time in two days. One more and I am done. Reverso was an excellent app.

С внедрением AI стал хуже значительно. Фразы даже самые простые переводит неправильно. Не говоря уже о нюансах которые не все начинающие знают. Предлоги почти всегда стал переводить не верно. Интерфейс тоже испортился. Зачем то идет повтор под строкой поиска на том же языке. Жаль, еще 4 года назад был хорошим. Подписка проблемы не решает.
It’s not free, really
I’m searching in vain for a simple app that will let me open a book on one side of the screen and see a translation on the other. I’m sure such apps exist, but I’ve searched in vain for them here. These people try to make you think their app is free—but unless you pay, it’s only a bare-bones translator, and even then, you must apparently watch ads to use it. No thanks—there are lots of free translators that don’t subject us to even more aggressive selling than we must already face every day!
Great app for learning
I use it to learn Hebrew and it is very useful for someone in my level of Hebrew study. I can even see mistakes some sentences might have. 👍🏽 Updated July 27/24 I never had this trouble before until a couple of days ago, more or less. But when I now write in a sentence or word it now tell me “The reverso context service cannot be reached. Please check your internet service or try again in a few minutes”. This has never been a problem before. I then would have to reset my phones WiFi or swipe away the app to refresh it to work. But then it would do that again after a little while. Can this be fixed?
Terrible App
Just 1 example of many…Basic cut and paste that other apps like Google Translate understand the importance of for texting others in other languages. I type in two words and I can’t even cut and paste since the last app update. Even if you have the clipboard option turned on - why is the clipboard option turned off by default anyway? All it gives are examples but not just a straight translation of just the words so you can copy them. It only works when you type in a long translation that isn’t an example they have. They don’t even read properly their support cases or they’d understand the problem correctly.

In quiz only 10 words all the time when i have 1000 in vocabulary
I already twice had an effort with premium subscription and again almost to decline. but i love it. i can’t understand why tou can’t improve it, correct mistakes. What should be done till it will be perfect: - an option to choose words in your quiz - quiz should propose words for example 10 or 20 times but not 200 till it adds 1 more new word. it’s completely ridiculous and not comfortable, in 10 days you just understand that only 10 words go in the circle. - level of memory is different- person should have an option to choose how many times does he need to show the word to be memorized. I really-really wish that there will be some changes because it’s really a good app but if you are a serious learner it not for you. that’s sad
