A must have for a Professional Pilot
I discovered this app a couple of years back as I was looking for an online resource to access NOTAMS. The app is now an invaluable tool for me for my preflight preparation. I am able to access NOTAMS of the airfields as per my requirement and configure them as per the route/sector that I am operating for the day. Grouping of NOTAMS into categories makes it easy to scan and prioritise reading the most relevant ones while having the full information available for a detailed read if required.
Very poor design
Not useful at all very poor design and not recommended for anyone.
It was good, but now when try to type a new airport the keyboard pops and the app crashes
It crashes
Excellent app!
The best app for checking notams. With the new feature that converts UTC to local time for airport notams makes the process so much quicker!
Decent app. Lose the subscription requirement.
App works well. However, there are several other NOTAM retrieval apps out there that a are FREE and don't require a subscription. Will delete after 14 days. Not worth a monthly subscription when the service is provided free... You just have a few more button clicks to do.
Great app — But....
Not all US airports are in there. I'm looking for L08 in California but it is nowhere to be found. Please update the database.
Best new aviation app in years!
I'm an airline pilot, and have to scroll through multiple NOTAMS for multiple airports on a daily basis. It's VERY easy to miss an important one that could affect the flight, and this app makes is much, much easier for those important ones to stand out via the intuitive auto sorting/organization system. Finally, a quick, simple, well organized app that does it well and does it right!
Not free
Just be aware that it is free for 14 days, then you have to buy a subscription. I haven't used the app yet so cannot rate it.
Best one out there..could be better
Although this seems to be the best app to review NOTAMS currently, it could be improved. Although the app developer claims that it would pick up NOTAMS within a specified buffer from the route (albeit with a disclaimer), it doesn’t. If this is fixed, it would definitely deserve one more star. If this app also added the ability to incorporate METAR / TAFS’s and the ability to view offline NOTAMS by airport instead of route-wise, it would definitely deserve 5-stars, making it the best app out there!
Fix required
The latest version is crashing when refreshing the notams
