Been using PilotLog for 12 years and its the best out there. Thank you for your continues support and for building an amazing pilot log system.
Zero customer service. WORTHLESS
App worked fine until about a month ago. They came up with an update and messed everything up. After the mess they created for changing an app that was working fine they have released four updates and still having the samenissues. They talk big game of their “customer service” and WILL comment right below this negative review with their “sorry line” but still will not reply to a support ticket created weeks ago. Gents and Gals please save your hard earned money and look elsewhere. This log app is NOT WORTH it.

Initially great, but not anymore
Worked fantastically with the original eCrew rostering app, could easily import all of my flights electronically. However, since eCrew app changed a while back I can no longer electronically import my flights. This kind of defeats the point of me having the app, I think I will most likely be getting a new app where I can do this. I am sure there was meant to be an update so this would work again, but as of yet I haven’t seen it, I maybe wrong.

Complete Failure
Five years ago, this was the best logbook out there. I researched them all and tried many. Roster import was phenomenal, logbook formatting for interview printing was great, the ability to parse flight times from ACARS OOOI, and night/xc/IFR calculations adjusted for local times. Something happened about 2 years ago. I am at my third airline, all have used different interfaces. I was able to import my trips for almost 2 months then summer of 2024 it just…stopped. Mid-trip and I couldn’t sync updated data. With no notice they “suspended all imports.” No apology. No help. They have never re-implemented the feature. The only ‘solution’ was to curtly inform me they just decided to stop and will never reinstate it, and for my troubles they would prorate my 5 year software license (but only if I canceled abs therefore lost my ability to continue logging). Still upsets me to this day. I am still using the app out of spite because I have some months left on the license, but after the end of this year it expires and I am not renewing. It is arduous to manually create every pilot profile, every tail number, manually create every flight, add the OOOI times. The app doesn’t remember pairing numbers when I build a return leg. Frequently saves my local times as Zulu times, but not for every OOOI block. The ACARS capture never works anymore. I take a picture which has the times very clear but it always fails “no IN time” or some nonense even though OOOI is all there. Manual roster import has never worked. I have tried logging in via their API screen. I have tried screenshots of my trip sheets. I have tried PDF imports via the manual tab. Always hangs at 75% and “no flights found.” I don’t know how much clearer the trip sheet could be. It literally has times, flight numbers, city pairs, etc. The whole point of paying, was to make this simple and automated. It is not. It is tedious. Erroneous. Constantly have to correct the app’s incorrect info. If the app was free, it wouldn’t be a big deal. But the broken features, removal of features, and the “oh well it sucks to be you” attitude from this company is maddening. All around the time Aviobook acquired PILOTLOG.
Long time user review
Please can you add an option to upload/attach pictures to a flight ( picture of Tech Log or a field picture etc …), it would be very helpful. Regards.
New way to introduce numbers is very annoying in the iPad

Great Logbook!
I was looking for a logbook that would not cost a large annual fee like other services that I’ve seen.
They are not as good as before
They have made so many changes that they are not what they used to be. They are completely awful. They were very prompt in resolving your problems. Now, they don’t even respond to emails anymore.
Great if you work for an airline
Works great for auto downloading your schedule. Would have given this 5 stars if the customer service was a little more responsive. There is room for improvement but they do not seem to be too interested in suggestions. Still a good product that saves me lots of time.
Very buggy
Lots of bugs Roster imports forgets simulator sessions Crew names randomly deleted from past flights No more auto download from crew web portal No more crew names even though published on roster we feed in. Synchronisation stalls after roster pdf import. App was great two years ago. Now feels more like a good xl sheet would do the job.
Missing airports
I have lost my already logged airport from the history without me editing them. It show departure airport blank and the same with arrival airport only showing departure and arrival time .

Latest app update has a major bug which prevents scrolling down to enter flight data when adding or editing flights.

Plus de calcul de vols de nuit, l’interface avec mon entreprise fonctionne pas trop mal (quelques petits bug sur l’immatriculation des avions dernièrement). Je gagne du temps.
Support recently more than horrorfying
Actually I really like this logbook abd have been using it since quite some years now. Unfortunately I had some software trouble this summer and since then all I get as an response, is that they are busy at the moment and somebody will come back to me soon. 6 month have passed since then, withe several attemps and the same standard response. Whats going on? Back then I made way better experiences with the support.
Good logbook
The logbook is nice, ads-b function is great. What’s not so nice is that when importing my roster it does not load simulator sessions. Furthermore if I manually insert Sim sessions and I import a new roster it deletes those sessions.

Removed CrewTrac interface with no warning
The only thing going for this software was the interface with CrewTrac and Flica but this was disabled with no warning. I had converted years ago since LogTen had gotten significantly more expensive and had shafted its lifetime member. But now it's become even more cumbersome to log flights. Awesome

In a race to the bottom
The app itself is ok. It’s not great. They have tried to make it cross platform but as a result there are huge trade offs and many interface issues on Mac OS. But the worst part is, the app has always been able to interface with eMaestro but in the last few weeks, it has stopped working. Their response to this? “Yes sorry, it’s complicated and it won’t be coming back”. A core functionality and the very reason I got it won’t be returning as apparently it’s too difficult. Other log books don’t seem to have any issue. The poor interface issues on Mac I can put up with because it imported all my flying for me. Now that’s gone, I’m out.
Should be less dependent on the Desktop App
The app is good, but it could be better. You should make it less dependent on the desktop program. The cloud sync was a huge step but I mean, you should bring features from the desktop app to the mobile apps, like a more powerful query search and printing logbook records. Today, the only reason I have a computer is because of the Pilot Log Program. Other than that, I only use my iPad and iPhone for every other single task. So, think about the mobility on a pilot’s life and make the mobile apps powerful! By the way, I’m a loyal costumer, because by now I could have migrated to other logbook softwares that have a more complete mobile service.
Excellent customer support
I have switched from LogTen pro to first MCC pilot and then now upgraded to the new Pilot Log. Customer service has always been quick, friendly and competent to solve any issues I have run into. I highly recommend this service for any beginner or experienced aviator.
Used to work, will not anymore
Kind of defeats the purpose if my schedule will not load into the app. Have tried to reach out to customer service but they were no help, just a go between and nothing worked. Wanted me to be available for a specialist from 1 in the morning until 4 in the morning. Nope. Can’t do that. They will not set a meeting up anytime between 12 and 22UTC. I guess I just live in the wrong time zone to get any real help. Oh well, I just requested a refund.
Important tool to improve a pilot life
As an airline pilot, the app have been important to keep my flight’s history.
No beta testing anymore?
The app used to run fine, but for the last few months I have got the feeling that money is saved on checking upcomming releases. After every update another update follow to correct issues. Now for instance, I am unable to save pax numbers and fuel information. Overall I really like the app but Im hugely dissapointed by the lack of quality control of releases.

Best pilot logbook
Priced right and customer service fixes any issues that arise. Our company changed the login process and the team had a fix quickly to have my schedule imported.
So disappointed
I’ve been with MCC since 2017. When the app worked, it was awesome. I tried virtually all the other major brands but MCC was the most seamless, integrating with my airlines server and pulling all my flight data effortlessly. Unfortunately, the app would occasionally return an error (usually after a software update) and troubleshooting with tech support would generally be more extensive than what it should be. It’s as if there was no regression testing whenever they released a new update and I always seemed to be the guy who got stuck trying to unfarkle things. One time it was just before the interview of my life…talk about stressed out! Despite these shortcomings, I put up with it because overall it was the best logbook out there, and I had a lifetime license so I was kinda committed to this software. Until one day they decided to stop supporting it and effectively force loyal lifetime users like myself to change to their PILOTLOG software. I was of course angry and felt duped by their slight of hand. Despite this, I paid the additional fees to keep the software going. I was at my dream legacy carrier and liked how effortless it interfaced with my airline and imported all the data, thus providing me the confidence that I always had a perfectly updated logbook at all times. Until they decided to stop supporting that feature too. So now I’m left with software that doesn’t download my flights which means I need to use a third party app to download then import into PILOTLOG. This is the straw that broke the camels back. I now despise this company for these lousy business practices and will never place myself at their mercy again. I don’t care if my “lifetime membership” effectively cost me one penny per day pro rated. This is NOT how you engender goodwill with your customers. This is not how you increase brand loyalty. Instead, they always seem to choose the path that will enflame their customers. No more. I’m done.
Extremely Improved!!
Left a 1 star review one year ago, due to customer service and functionality issues. I am happy to report that the app is working near perfect now. The customer service response time has been reduced to under 48 hours. I’m back on board with this app, I strongly believe they want to make this the best logbook software possible. Definitely worth a look. I’m happy to say I strongly recommend it again! Keep up the great work.
Not worth the money
I have been testing for a year, and constantly having problem, between bug in the system, lag on the application Not compatible with one version of Mac and so on, last problem in this days I am facing I can’t download the last flight because the application is crashing Really not recommend, for the money you could find something better
Keep fixed fixed please
Good app. But with every update previously fixed errors are returning again. Now again the function-,IFR & XC times are not automatically added. This was fixed but with the latest update its not working again...

Full of bugs, definitely not worth it!
This app is like a spam, it is not correctly working on both windows and mac, every time u use the app it definitely crashes, each time you want to print ur logbook there are so many informations missing, it takes 48 hrs for the support team to reply the email, you cant use your mobile to export your logbook, you should always have a computer.

Needs improvement still
Used to have MCC PILOTLOG for few year after switching from logtenPro. Already having read about the buggy startup software (and hearings from colleagues) I decided to upgrade after a big update in CrewLounge. Some problems I experienced were randomly missing flights and names which I had te look up in my paper logbook. Also some previous experience hours keep adjusting from actual hours to simulator hours after syncing. Furthermore some minor issues which could be improved to make entering data more smooth. Luckily support is good in answering your questions which makes it somewhat better to work with.

Use another logbook. Don't waste your money
I've paid the lifetime for Mcc. Now they are focusing on the crew lounge application. They said they do not shut down the server BUT THEY DO NO LONGER UPDATE. I FEEL RIPPED OFF. Also, I never use a crew lounge application. Who knows if they will change to another one? I'm willing to share this situation with the airline pilots. Look luck to your business.
Great App
Although I was disappointed as a long time MCC-pilotlog user about the fact that I had to pay again I have to admit that I am very satisfied with the app itself. Great interface, good overview, nice interconnection between the desktop and mobile device versions. Please keep the support this time really for a lifetime license.
Good product awful customer service
Had compatibility issues with Mac OS10 and MCC Pilotlog wouldn’t launch. This was listed as a known problem on the website but I couldn’t access any of my data. Tried contacting customer service and in 1 month of emailing I received 1 response which simply asked for my license key. I ended up going to a Mac specialist and sorting it myself at my own expense. Hands down the worst/non existent customer service I have ever seen! Product is 4* Customer service is 0* Averages out at a 2 overall Ticket ID #122733

They've been consistently updating the apps and fixing the bugs. Still not 100% but now usable and more stable
Exceptional Pilot Log
I have used LogTen and Safelog before this app. This one blows them out of the water. It works flawlessly and I love the auto import feature from ACARS and ADS-B. The price is very reasonable too, unlike LogTen that charges way too much. Very happy with this electronic logbook. Glad I made the switch.
Can’t export or print
I thought it was great until I needed to print. Despite their help desk telling me the same thing that I said isn’t helpful, I can’t figure out how to print. I can’t even figure out how to export to email to print or at this point export to another logbook. I have an interview coming up and now I feel like this is a total loss. I think it has to be done from a desktop but my Mac won’t let me open it after downloading because it says the software is old and apple can’t check it for viruses. So I’m screwed.
Getting better
Getting better by the day. Have submitted about 6 bugs and they’ve fixed them all in time. It still needs some polish in places but there are no major bugs for me anymore. They’ve been great about fixing it as stuff comes up
An improvement but fix roster/historical import!
There has been constant problems for the launch earlier this year and it's taken until now to be seems like what should have been released the first time. An actual 64bit app for the desktop and this app which doesn't crash anymore on launching or selecting various tabs. The desktop app now doesn't allow the import of my airline roster so have to use the new app which in theory is great because I won't have to rely on grabbing my laptop out, booting it up and syncing with that everytime I get a new Roster. However, the app airline roster import doesn't work in bringing the flights into the app, you can start the download and it finds my roster find and manages to figure out all the flights and duties I have but it then doesn't transfer them to the actual logbook as future flights...making it useless. The most frustrating part is the 'historical roster download'. We get changed to our roster or a standby changes to a duty or after I've finished a day of flying and submitted the journey log it should be able to update the flights with the actual times but it just doesn't do this. You download the historical data and it clearly can see the changes and data but once again doesn't import it to the logbook making it once again useless at what should be one of the more important basic features. Please sort this asap! Another thing with iOS 13 dark mode, you have fixed the issue where everything was unreadable because I don't think you actually created a dark mode and just let it do its own adjustment, so now it just appears as the normal white theme if you have dark mode enabled. Would be nice to have a dedicated dark mode theme but this isn't a priority now that it is useable again!

When selecting “flights” , date and aircraft model names, model overlaps each other in the left column, unreadable. The rest seems ok for now, thanks for fixing the sync. Keep going
