Never going to THL again
Hello, I would like to share my very disappointing experience with THL Australia. Unfortunately, the vehicle we received was far from what we expected and several paid or essential items were missing or not working properly. The shower was blocked about half of the time. The additional heater we paid for was not provided, the additional chairs we paid for were also missing, and there were no batteries for the air-conditioning remote control. The hot water system, which was supposed to be heated by gas, did not work properly (at all). Even more concerning, several windows were leaking. When it rained, water came inside the vehicle and the bed became soaked. In total, three windows were letting water in, which made the trip extremely uncomfortable. On top of that, the layout of the windows is very poorly designed: passengers sitting in the back could barely see anything during the trip. The vehicle was also so noisy that having a normal conversation was almost impossible, we either had to shout or remain silent. Overall, this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Considering the price paid and the issues encountered, I cannot recommend THL Australia for a road trip. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously, as these problems had a significant impact on the quality of our journey. Kind regards, M.K. About this app: I don’t even opened it.

Map cluttered always
We prefer to use Google maps as THL is just too cluttered. The whole page is obliterated with too much data.
THL app
The app is helpful but it has issues keeping the video links up and available for view. The linked videos appear and then disappear again. Very annoying.

Customer service nonexistent
Booked a less than 1 year old Maui campervan and had numerous issues, from the toilet door falling off to a half of the stove cooker not working. I reported these issues at the time and with a post rental email, and received a “we looked into it and sorry about that” from their customer support team. A rip off of $490 “new vehicle” option. I would not recommend using any company that uses THL.

Great app, and we found it essential when on tour. Planning another trip now but for some reason can’t open any of the locations on the map now? Is there any reason for this?
