Very fun game for real
Mistake
I see I just made a mistake and bought this. I had such a good time on Apple Arcade I thought I’d buy an older one to learn more about the lore. You dare ask for 7 dollars for heroes are you kidding me? My Apple Arcade subscription is what 15-20 bucks and a have three of your games completely unlocked. It seems all the merchants have lost their minds with this cash grabbing like it’s disappearing. Surprise ending let go of your greed OR IT WILL CONSUME YOU AND ALL YOU HOLD DEAR! This is a truth you can not horde or hide from. He that can hear let him hear.

This is a fun and challenging game and I enjoy it but I think they could add more like troops and stuff.
Nerfed blackwater endless
The blackwater endless map has been nerfed. Why nerf something this old. The map used to be fun and still challenging enough and good way to earn store credits to keep me interested. Now the difficulty is ridiculous after just 10 waves.
Ads in game freeze and are unresponsive
Good game but any ads just freeze and force you to quit the game and restart.

Unbalanced, Doesn’t respect your time
The game isn’t so bad as to only warrant one star, but it also doesn’t deserve the 4.9 rating it has in the app store, and needs to be offset. The biggest issue is the terrible balancing. The game devs obviously wanted to make it harder than previous titles, but they use a variety of cheap and unfair tactics to accomplish that, and obviously wanted to incentivise people to pay for the myriad of pay-to-win feature built in, which is just disrespectful and dishonest. You could possibly win each location without paying, but the amount of time you’d have to spend grinding to make sure you have just the right hero levelled up enough to have the powers needed, as well as purchasing all the bonuses you need from the in-game store, is just not respectful of our time as players. This is a phone app game. I’m not trying to spend my entire life playing it, or even hours at a time. Stop trying to be a console or PC game, unless you’re going to actually BE that.
Great Series, Some Bugs
I really enjoy this series! Devs, PLEASE fix the barracks to actually block troops. It feels like a 50/50 if an enemy will be stopped or just walk right past them.

싫어서 일부러 유료겜 산건데 앱내 현질유도가 있네요… 심하진 않지만. 게임 그래픽도 너무 작아서 태블릿으로 하기 좋은 게임같네요… 레벨디자인은 좋아요.
Too familiar
Game is well done, nice graphics , reasonable price point but if you’ve played one game you’ve played them all. Same four towers, same general upgrade just with different final form. Yes this adds some new map elements and extra powers but- play something like “orcs must die “ and there’s much greater placement variety within each game and from game to game.

Every single time I close the game it fully resets the level I’m on so if you have a life and actually do stuff with your time then get ready to be penetrated in your azz because they can’t figure out how to save your progress. Whole bunch of brain dead monkey developers
Please learn what CASUAL means.

Heroes need re purchased
I love all the kingdom rush games, have bought every single one, and all the buyable heroes. Im tired of having to rebuy them, as something gets reset or an update happens and they all need repurchased again. Not sure if this is shady business tactics, or an honest mistake thats happened multiple times. Im giving the game 3 stars because of this. Also, yes, I have tried the reset option for the heroes and still nothing.

Save disappeared for no reason
I love this game But out of nowhere my save disappeared, it did it once or twice with my hero but this time no matter what I do I can’t get it back. It’s a bit frustrating
Moves too slow
This game loves way too slow for a tower defense game. Levels drag on for extended periods of time as you’re just sitting and waiting for enemies to plod through. There’s no option to speed up the game play either, so you’re stuck. It makes the game boring. With so many tower defense options available on the App Store, you can definitely find better.
Amazing game! One complaint
This game is phenomenal. I have played for a long time and I have always appreciated the detail and effort. The only complaint I have is that the kingdom rush series no longer has endless levels. The campaigns are great, but after they're completed, you don't typically go and play the same levels over and over again and that's what the endless runs are for continuously trying to get on the leaderboard as a part of the fun that the kingdom Rush series offers, but they haven't been making the same levels. We need to bring back endless mode.

Move the Pause Button
The pause button is in a location that is easily accidentally tapped when playing on a phone and then mid game you end up restarting or quitting. Seriously play you’re own games and make these simple fixes.
Fix Zoom/Scrolling in New Update
LOVE this game, obsessed, the gameplay in the new engine is cool, but the zoom and scrolling on iPhone is now very buggy. Please fix ASAP!

I never write reviews for games on the App Store. But I grew up playing this series and it is by far my favorite mobile game of all time. Not specifically origins but the entire series. Please give it a chance if you have time. Much love to the developers
Purchased two heroes but cannot use them
I have purchased two heroes, Bravebark and Faustus, but I cannot use them. The game still ask me to pay.
A Good Sequel
The game is a lot of fun. The towers being mixed up from sequel to sequel has been nice. The difficulty for Heroic and Iron challenges feels ramped up a bit more in Origins than the previous 2, which means I won’t be spending as much time with Origins as I did on Frontiers and the original. If levels required less time to complete the playing and losing and playing and losing over and over would feel less like an unsatisfying grind. With the heroes that would make these levels easier locked behind paywalls, I suppose Heroic and Iron are pay to win this time around. The base levels are still a blast.

This is my all time favorite Mobil game (kingdom rush in general). I love the strategy of the game and the heroes. The tower variants make the game super interesting. The fact that it goes deep into the fantasy world is awesome.
Fails in basic ways
Has a lot of potential bit some epic fails: 1) You have 4 defenders with air attack ability and they focus on the lesser threat as a simple enemy flies through the middle of the defenses… really? 2) You purchase (with items earned in app) weapons and the enemies adapt to how much you purchased. Clearly they are trying to monetize the need for more. 3) You use a weapon and enemies exit the map as if you didn’t use it - but you lose the weapon… 4) No ability to increase game speed
Good Game, Lacks Charm
The game itself is quite good - very similar to Kingdom Rush games of the past, although with a slight step up in difficulty. The biggest drawback for me is that the art-style changed to something a little more complex. Whilst it definitely looks prettier, it loses a bit of the charm that it used to have because of this.

Best in the series.
All heroes are good. The worst hero isn’t even bad and can be used extremely well if played right. All towers are visually uniqe unlike any other towers in the entire franchise. The art is simple and down right beautiful. Whether you’re a beginner or master to strategy games, this game has a challenge for you. Beautiful game. Beautiful series. I’d pay 3x its original price for it.

Great game but hard to play on iPhone
I love this game. This is the third Kingdom Rush I’m playing but I played the other two on my PC. I’d give the game 5 stars. However, it’s not for iPhone. Requires a lot of scrolling and if you’re forgetful or not fast enough, you will miss enemies (on maps where there are at least 2 exits).

I love Kingdom Rush
Kingdom rush is an amazing game. I played threw it quite a bit a year or so back, but recently i tried to pick it up and found that i couldnt recover my in app purchase for one of the heros, which was dissopointing. However the game is amazing and i highly recomend playing.

Good but disappointing
It's a great game, let me start with that, it's got new story and a whole new hero system, with more heroes than before(also only 3 short quest lines aside from the main ones). The issues are with the actual feel of the game, there's very little fun while playing it, the original was huge fun and the towers were all very nice and each felt like they were doing huge damage, with this game it feels like all of your towers don't change much when you upgrade them, you need to feel excited and this game just doesn't do it, i also think that on higher difficulties you have no options in your build, you have to do the same thing over and over again, no variety and no fun...
