Best simulation for global politics
I played years this game and is one of those games that i need full attention of whats going on ,plus it help me to understand how difficult is to make a country stable
App would not load.
I really love this game; had it on my device for years and it’s the one app that I mostly choose to game whenever I had free time. However, what on earth did this new recent update even do to the app? First, there is an issue where I lost some of my permanent in-app purchases while somehow keeping others. I have basically bought the essentials of the game to unlock the full experience, such as unlocking all advisors and unlocking campaign mode for replayability. The only thing I didn’t buy was “download custom scenarios with no cooldown” thing, where the default is that the player gets to download only 2 custom scenarios before having to wait for the next day for the player to download another 2 custom scenarios once again. I tried the “restore purchases” button, but it said there wasn’t anything I can restore, and so I didn’t get all of my in-app purchases I bought back, which was very frustrating for me. And so I decided to delete and reinstall the game to see if that fixes it, but the situation just got even worse! After redownloading the game, I clicked on the app icon, and it just froze at the game’s logo and crashed and kicked me out to my Home Screen. Basically the app is unplayable and I’m really wondering what is even the root cause of this, to which my first thought is to blame the new update because it presented a wide range of problems, where the app was completely fine before the update. Can there be another update to the game to fix this odd problem/glitch ASAP? Or maybe have an update that grants more compatibility with the specific phone model? My phone is an IPhone 13 Pro Max, if you wanted to know. I’ve tried everything such as resetting my phone and the app still freezes and crashes at the start. I really want to change this one star review to a five star one, but this bug is preventing me from doing so.
Fun but money grab
This game is actually very fun, thoroughly enjoy playing, and it’s well put together. Only downside is after you buy the game, you still have to buy the campaign, the weekly challenges, and pay to unlock all the “extras”. Personally just find it tacky to have dlc in a mobile game that you have to buy to begin with.
Several critical issues ruin the gaming experience
Disappointing mobile port with several frustrating issues holding back the experience. First off, the soundtrack feels incomplete. All five base‑game maps reuse the exact same background track. Hearing the same music non‑stop throughout long play sessions quickly gets repetitive and creates serious audio fatigue. It really ruins the unique atmosphere that each separate scenario should have. Secondly, weekly challenges are inaccessible for players based in China. These challenges are the primary way to unlock special DLC advisors. Being locked out of them means we cannot obtain important content that greatly enriches gameplay, putting a large group of players at a disadvantage. On top of that, the pricing for this mobile version is unreasonable. In‑app prices are completely inconsistent with those of the PC edition. I sincerely hope the development team will review and adjust mobile‑store pricing to be fairer. This game has great potential, but these obvious problems stop me from recommending the mobile release right now.
Starts Out Fun
Initially it’s a lot of fun. Then the second level feels impossible to beat. I played 5 or so times trying different strategies and failed each time. The feedback wasn’t great after a fail to know what needed to be done differently. I lose interest if I’m playing the same thing over and over again. It would’ve been nice to get progressively harder rather than the first level was fun and passable, the second is REALLY hard to pass. I gave up and deleted the app.

Offline issues
I’ve found while playing offline that the in-game purchases are not available. I don’t have this issue with Plague inc or After inc, so I’m assuming it’s a bug. Great game, however I’m wondering if this is a known issue?

Love the game, I used to have it and recently installed it again. I enjoy it more than plague inc. and think it is a good way to get your brain to work harder

An interesting game
I’ve enjoyed the game for a couple of years and I like the great settings of it and the simple way to play.The only problem is that as a Chinese,the simplified Chinese isn’t well-applied and I have to use English and some sophisticated terms which I haven’t learnt yet.
Very average
Unlike the other two inc.’s, this one is tedious and boring to play. The tech/discovery tree has so many options that it’s hard to gauge their impact on the game, and the rebels actions moving zone to zone is very repetitive. If you’ve not played Plague Inc or After Inc, definitely do them, and give this a miss.
Decent game
Use to enjoy playing this game but started noticing a few months ago in the campaigns that it didn’t matter what you did the game was going to take a city or drain your reputation. Still laugh at the time the game invaded and took a city in one turn because my soldier was arriving the next turn.
Another banger
A little tricky and no sim is perfect, but a fun job at tackling the kind of issues we as humans run into

Too random
Really cool concept, but uses too much randomness to allow for proper strategy to form, feels more like whack-a-mole than organized counterinsurgency

Viel zu schwer
Der Schwierigkeitsgrad zieht urplötzlich und ohne Erklärung massivst an und grenzt schon fast an der Unmöglichkeit. Dann gibt es noch diese Anführer wie die Bänkerin, welche einfach nur nutzlos sind, man aber gezwungen wird zu nutzen. Eigentlich ein cooles Spiel, aber vieeeeeeel zu schwer.

It is fun
Needs a lot of work
It’s constant pop ups, you can’t play for more then 3 seconds before some pop up is in your face. Or some event occurs forcing you to read a pop up. I’ll check the game later to see if it has improved, but as it is, it’s a broken game.. stay clear.
Fun first play
I’ve only played one game so far, and I played the “casual” mode. It kept me engaged and I enjoyed how the complexity increased as the game progressed. I’m trying this as an alternative to CODM, so it’s definitely not as fun. I love how the strategy plays out over time and forced you to think and make decisions. Hopefully add I play more, this will become a 5-star game for me.

Rebellions are a plague to the Empirical Body
Loved Plague, Inc. Now this game proves to be just as challenging, with realistic insights into how world politics works. Also, to give an understanding as to why the Middle East is always under constant flux.
Bought all the unlocks trying to make me pay again
I purchased all the unlocks for this game, now won’t let me use them, tells me I’ve already purchased them but won’t let me access them only option it to “buy again anyway” when I click on them, it knows I bought them but wants me to rebuy them

Game is kinda good, but when I bought the packs for advisory & cheats it didn’t show up & I tried every scenario & each time I tried to choose advisors it show need to buy or earn, I select buy to just see & it had error already purchased. Tried restore, tried reinstalling & no change. But got my refund at least, so I’ll let them keep 2.99+tax maybe play again later date

A modern successor to educational kids shows
Between this game and Plague Inc., I am thoroughly impressed with the creative mind and attention to detail showcased by the developer. They take 2 hefty real world scenarios and break them down in a way that is not only logical and realistic, but fun to play. It forces you to think about these in a manner you typically might not, which I believe increases our understanding and perspective on the inner workings behind the matter. I highly recommend both games, and whatever their next project is, I hope to be among the first people to try it out.

Plague Inc was fun and has reliability. This one is just stupid. The mechanics make no sense and add difficulty where it is not needed.

I’m new but it seems to be a decent game

Yeah I’ve played 3 other strategy games this is easily the worst one out of the lot you can only completely kill the insurgents in an area by completely surrounding them and outnumbering them by 3 to 1 at least and sometimes up to 5 squad units to 1 which all the while fighting the reputation System Otherwise they just run all over the map if their split up in 3 different areas separate from each other your basically screwed and may as well start again And also pray you don’t get screwed over by bad RNG

Why this game goes from a ten out of ten to a sub zero really fast
This game has a really good and casual start in the first mission having the insurgents barely fight back and money and other assets very easy to manage but the second you go to mission 2 the insurgents move at light speed your peace becomes impossible and your stabilisation is non existent even with security upgrades and maxed out soldiers and urban city and remote parts of the map mostly stabilised all gone in a instant

Cheating AI becomes frustrating
One of the key parts of the game is a rebel faction that tries to capture zones. You’re supposed to herd them into a corner to wipe them out. And yet even if you do, the AI can simply spawn new rebels behind your lines. When a game doesn't play by its own rules it simply becomes frustrating and RNG based on whether you win or lose.
