Horrible booking experience over the last 2 days I need to log in repeatedly to do my booking esp if the earlier transaction did not go through Payment portal asked me to key in OTP to make payment Who the hell uses OTP Website asked for feedback and one is whether there were issues with the OTP system ….. There was even a message telling me to change my damn password

App is easy to navigation but no payment gateway such as paypal, google pay, apple pay is surprising
Sluggish app performance
App loads real slowly when it comes to retrieving flight information, and the app broke when I’m trying to retrieve boarding pass via the app. Definitely not a positive experience compared to the much reliable and stable web portal.
Bug in payment process
The app has a frustrating bug in the payment process. When selected Alipay as payment method, the payment was unsuccessful. However, there was no option to go back and choose another payment method. Instead, I had to restart the entire booking process from scratch. This is very inconvenient and annoying. Please fix the payment flow so that users can easily return to the previous page and select a different payment method if a payment attempt fails.

If you pay by credit card you will face more than 10 percent surcharge. If you don’t have other choices, you have to pay.
UI
The UI is dated and should be easier to navigate and book tickets. My info are all gone if I go back to check other flight timing during review. The cache is not working.
Buggy
This app is so buggy that I had to uninstall it finally so that I could at least use the web interface to perform some basic actions. Will not recognise perfectly legitimate login credentials. If it does, will not retrieve the booking that you know you made, Surprising really because the Krisflyer app has been working flawlessly for years.

Cannot check in online
Have never succeeded at checking in online. There is always a “system error” message when attempting to check in. App is only great at checking your tickets, tracking flight prices and upcoming trips.

Alipay option has bug for a long while
Alipay has bug and cannot complete payment. I tried it twice within 3 months, same problem exists. If your Alipay has issue, just take it out from option to avoid hassles to the user. I have called CS on the problem and suggest how to improve user experience
Booking
Take too much time to fill in and my password doesn't seem to work, called but nobody attend to my call. Helpless
Needs improvement
This is not a good airline app compared to others I have used. It keeps signing you out and even when you are signed in, you have to add your trips as it doesn’t do this automatically and it often loses the trips and you have to re-add them by finding the booking number in your emails. I had to do this three times. The whole point of a travel app is that you don’t have to keep going through your emails to find your bookings. It also doesn’t automatically link you to the frequent flyer program so you have to keep signing in to that too. It also doesn’t send you updates for changed gate numbers. Then Scoot sends us an email saying you can’t do check in online or through the app for our trip and says you need to check-in at the airport at least 3 hours before your departure. But the check-in counter doesn’t even open until 3 hours prior to departure so it’s not possible to check in at least 3 hours before departure and there is a massive line of people who have all been told the same thing. But the Scoot staff are great. Just not the app or check-in communication.

Extremely Buggy
Mobile boarding passes don’t load so I’m forced to go to the counter to get it printed even when I’m checked in. My flights aren’t reflected in the app and even when I put it in manually, it disappears the next time I open the app. it’s just such an awful experience to have to keep searching up the booking ref in my emails JUST TO SEE MY FLIGHT IN THE APP

UX feedback
When I tap on push notification, I expect to land directly on the relevant content to see the details. Instead, the app redirect me to the home booking page every time. From a UX standpoint, this breaks contextual continuity, notification creates specific intent, but the app fails to preserve it 😕

Loading is extremely slow and buggy. Does not allow users to manually delete unpaid or incomplete bookings on the Manage My Booking portal or app.

Need a better booking site
Frustratingly buggy app
I expected a less buggy app for a Singapore Airlines company. For example, with a multi-leg flight, adding the boarding passes to Apple Wallet only saves the last leg to the wallet. The same thing applies for pre-booking meals - when attempting to pre-book a meal on a multi-leg journey, the app doesn’t allow purchasing a meal for one leg, and to complete the purchase I had to force desktop mode on an iOS browser. Disappointing for an otherwise good airline.

Not the easiest to navigate. Wanted to use PayPal but gave up after 4 attempts! Only way was credit card or QR code

Been a while actually where flights booked under the KrisFlyer account is not showing up under “My Trips”. This tab is an easy access to all flights booked instead of going through the mails.

Such a terrible app compared to others!
What an awful app - I would have thought by this stage, most airline apps would be equally as good as one another, yet this app still can’t log me in automatically when open it, irrespective of faceID or saved passwords…. Not to mention how clunky it is to use in every step. To be honest, the website is not much better - this is the worst part of flying with Scoot! Just because it’s a budget airline, doesn’t mean app should be sub-par. Make it easy to use, and more people will book + fly!

One Name only
Doesn’t allow for a person with just one Name. This makes it very inconvenient and cannot link Kris flyer points during booking. Have to repeat my name twice and that doesn’t match my Kris Flyer account. Singapore airlines allows for it, why don’t you? You do realise there are people with one name only, don’t you?
Unfair airline
Unfair that you have to pay to charge your iPhone also asked for a blanket on way home it was $17aud? Seriously? Other than that airline got us there & back. I won’t use it again.

Scoot mobile has turned bad to worse
The latest version app has turned bad to worse. Not only I am always logged out. My upcoming trip is getting error messages despite I have logged in. AirAsia app has never given me any problems.
No update
Tried to open the Scoot app, got a banner, “ time to update “ It doesn’t update when you click ok it takes me to download and over again,still no update on my IPad

There is a notifications when I open the app saying time to update and likes back to the App Store however there is no update available?? Can’t book flights if I cannot open the app to see what’s available..
Ok but …
I recognize that airline apps are relatively new but that’s not a reason to pull back from full throttle improvement … especially when we’re surrounded by excellent competitive apps to examine; the Scoot app is ok but not as good as it could be. Some out of the box thought is needed to bring your app up to first class and give it wider appeal to a broader spectrum of travelers globally.
