miss prime time
app used to be good before you put ads everywhere, seriously? while im reading?
I love webtoon but the ads are getting tiring
I really enjoy webtoon and have been using it for years. There are great comics to read, but lately there are so many ads. It used to not be like this and it’s very upsetting. One of my favorite series used to not have ads but now all of a sudden you need to watch an ad just to read the episode. Also there is ad pop ups all the time now when you first click on an episode. It’s making me want to use the app less and less. As an old user it is very disappointing.
Membership is trash
The only reason I’m giving two stars are for the comics, I opened membership and still have ads also all the comics you unlock with $$$ membership wouldn’t do anything
It’s fine
Free coins expire which is pretty weird considering they never give you enough to actually buy anything. I also don’t really like how you have to pay coins to read completed series (or watch an ad to unlock chapters individually while also getting adds at the beginning of the chapter as well). It is really cool being able to read other peoples comics tho :^
Genial
Me encanta la trama, las ilustraciones, la cantidad de episodios que puedo leer, que se guardan perfectamente en donde lo dejo de leer entre otras cosas
Ads on series I was already reading
Put an add on ones I read in the past from were I left off even tho it didn’t make me watch adds before
Add more watch eps
This is amazing! I love this app; the beautiful mangas and comics are wonderful. However, I would like to see more voice actors for the stories, as it makes them feel so alive, especially with Osora, Down to Earth, and Situationship.
Ads
Why have to be ads!?
Yaoi..
It’s a pretty good app but I really wish there was more Yaoi,BLB,BL,MLM etc in a huge yaoi and bl fan
wow
i think im gayer than i was already
Ads
There are so many ads everywhere now.
REPLIESSSSS
i wanna reply to a reply but i cant brooooo and generally the app is nice but im not a fan of how most things are with coins.but i can just watch ads and wait a bit to read it ig
Dramatic decline
I used to love this app so much I’d try to get friends to download it. The current quantity and invasive mess of ads on this app would now make me ashamed to do so. I used this app for over ten years and have only watched it decline. Now there is a paid ad on every. Single. Episode. Comics are stashed behind bloated paywalls. Loved a finished comic and want to read it again? Better cough up. It’s finally reached the point where I am leaving webtoon behind. A ten second google led me to a platform with better UI, more released chapters, superb translations, nothing locked behind any paywall, and all the comics/manhwa I’ve grown to appreciate. If you want the best reading experience, it won’t be found on webtoon.
Short dramas
3 stars for short drama. Know where to stop. The UI is getting yucker
This is so peak
So peak I had to gave it 5 stars keep up with the good work!
Time limit
Hello, It is really bad that we have to wait so long just to read entire series or else, we are forced to watch announcements. There are many people who can read fast. Thank you.
Ads
Im already paying for webtoon premium monthly so why am i still getting bombarded with ads everytime i read a chapter.
Double paying?
It not normal that episode that I already paid and that is already unlock is lock again after a while and I have to pay again that str8 thief!
Updates
I have found that some stores are vary behind.
Si
Ya muy bien, ojalá hagan series más de estos cómics
Used to be good
Now it’s better to use your browser. They added these stupid video adds that can’t be blocked on the app and it makes every chapter a 5 sec wait before you can read. Super trashy.
Playtime
I love WEBTOON had it for a few months until I started actually trying to read the stories but I ran out of coins awhile ago and I tried to go to playtime so I can get more coins to read stories and everytime I tried to click play the game said the game is not in my location or it just won’t load I don’t know what to do please help…
The adds
The adds keep pausing my music
Paying
Most of the time it wants you to pay or you can get horrible ads and stuff but it is really fun to Do
Good
Amazing
Unusable
Full of manipulative gimmicks, unskippable ads that take up more than half of your screen, and an extremely user UNfriendly UI. it’s awful and just getting worse all the time.
>_<
It was good… but it’s n-not because I like you Baka! Hmph s-stop being so precise it’s annoying, WEBTOON-san!
Waiting is horrible
For those who don’t want to read the long review, the bottom line is the last paragraph. Okay, I’ve been using this app since 2016, so I’ve seen some changes… but it’s gotten out of hand. Although it was frustrating to lose access to the episodes being fresh off the press, I understood why series started added coin requirements to unlock new episodes as long as the free ones were released on a weekly basis as well. I’m not a fan of ads, but I was even okay when ad episodes were introduced so that the poor people could have an opportunity to read a couple more if they wanted. Where I draw the line is the series that a) the non payers are ~20 episodes behind what’s released and b) the poor people having to wait *13 years* to read the last 4 episodes teenage mercenary??? I don’t get upset easily, but this seems wayyyy too ridiculous for us to be dealing with. Even smaller waits like A Child Who Looks Like Me was getting on my nerves since the release date kept getting pushed back to where we have to wait nearly a year. So to get to my bottom line, go ahead and add your different tiers for the payers, but please stop punishing the poor people by withholding episodes past a weekly release basis. It’s not making me more likely to pay money, just more likely for me to delete the app altogether which breaks my heart since I have loved Webtoon since I found it. I was hoping it was a bug that would be fixed, but I (and many others) have waited since March and there has not been a change yet.
Awesome but…
I ALWAYS try to use the add thing to read some episodes but it NEVER works, each time even on different days it doesn’t work.
The app is so good!
Awesome, so many good manga and genuinely good quality app
Ads ruined it
This app used to be great but now it is flooded with ads. I got so sick of using it. Anyone know of a better place to read webcomics?
Good but..
This app is great for reading whatever you are into, the only problem I have seen is when you earn coins from coin hunter the coins expire in 8 days. I think they should not expire but if they do they should expire in a month.
Webtoon has jumped off a cliff
I have been reading webtoons since 2018 and I have to say the quality of the app has taken a steep nosedive. It is absolutely littered with ads at every moment. What has really set me off though, is the fact that now you are given an ad every time you open an episode. They take up half of the reading space and in order to have a half decent reading experience, you have to wait for it to finish in order to close it out. I used to enthusiastically recommend this app to others, but now I would actually recommend against using it as the experience is so bad.
I don’t See the need for a daily pass
I don’t think it’s fair to us readers having to pay in game currency to read chapters
I love this app
This app helps me get things off my mind I love to read, but I also need pictures to help me so this app is the best way for that
Awful
Been reading since 2017 dropped everything I read besides unordinary now I drop even that webtoon doesn’t allow their mcs to become dark I’ve been waiting years for the mc in unordinary to snap and kill but it won’t happen webtoon is a corporate shill that won’t allow a brutal mc that kills stories drag on forever with zero character development I’m done
Hermoso
Lo amoo
Ads
I've had this app since 2018 when I first started reading Tower of God. when I tell you how far gone this app has gone with greed it's insane. There's so many ads the chapters are so annoying to go by, it's so much more difficult to get into the flow-state of reading without getting bombarded with something so inane. There's no way to remove it either bro. Genuine corporate greed bro.
Download is very slow
Download is very slow. Netflix is faster.
WEBTOON
On of my fav apps for books I love it so much I be on the app 24/7 it’s so good. The book nevermore is so good 100% recommend
Malas experiencias Publicidades
Ahi una banda de anucion no se puede ni leer parece que veo mas anucion que capitulos asi nose puede bandaaa de anucion por capitulos
Too much adds
Very good but has a lot of adds
Ad Central
I’ve been reading on this app for years, and I do mean years. Yet every single episode plays an ad at the top. Not to mention, if you’ve started scrolling, it’ll take you back to the top to play the ad. I get needing ads. But this is too much.
3 stars!
In my opinion, it's not bad at all. But I am currently reading in webtoon, All for The Game. I am really disappointed only reading one episode which is boring even though on Spotify u can listen but I hate listening.
J’ adore vraiment beaucoup le bl mais j’ai veux plus
Svp 🙏🏽
Rules for dating trash live action
Bru, rules for dating trash is soooo good, but I hate the live action!!! I don’t remember the names but the main character looks NOTHING like the mc in the webtoon, she has short hair and rlly rlly rlly fair skin, the mc in live action does have that, also big problem MALE LEAD LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE MALE LEAD IN THE WEBTOON thr ml in the webtoon had tan skin, but the ml in the live action, he just has fair skin (kinda) then the ml in the webtoon has black AND blonde hair, then guess what, ml in the live action has brown hair, it feels just weird bc the characters look nun like the webtoon, if anything yall just made it like a typical Highschool movie and lowk white washed it, but ok thats imo.
It’s great!!
This app is great! When I first found Webtoon I used the website. I love webtoon and I can’t really even remember my life without it but the website is kinda better for me. It’s simpliler and I use an iPad but on the app it’s SO DIFFERENT like I thought it would be the same but it’s not that much same. It’s hard to explain all the features I kinda have problems with but I love this app and I’m not hating on it!! LOVE U WEBTOONN
Coins keep disappearing…
Love the books but it seems like my coins are disappearing and NO I am not using them on episodes.
Hidden gems
So many wonderful stories hidden in this app, but its recently become a very thirsty place T-T
