It was all good. I was using this after c.ai downfall. Until more updates come. And now it’s slowly turning into c,ai. Please remove the daily gem limit.

Hey, when y’all make updates, can y’all make sure that it doesn’t stop the whole app? Cause the servers are slow, it won’t rewind and it won’t make chats cause it’s going so low to respond and it’s the slowness and non-responsive servers that are very annoying.

UPDATE NEEDED.
I’ve seen this app do multiples updates, except the ones that are actually needed. I really love the advanced character description feature, but I honestly think the 6,000-character limit needs to be increased significantly. 6,000 characters (including spaces) simply isn’t enough when you’re creating a bot designed around multiple characters rather than just one. For example, if I wanted to create a Jackson 5 roleplay bot, I would need to include around 11 different characters, and each character needs their own personality, speaking style, behavior, relationships, and important details. Trying to fit all of that into only 6,000 characters forces you to leave out a lot of information or make the descriptions so condensed that the characters lose their individuality. This is especially frustrating because the advanced character description is supposed to help make characters more accurate and consistent. When you have an entire group or ensemble cast, the amount of information needed naturally becomes much larger than what would be necessary for a single-character bot. I would really appreciate seeing the limit increased to something like 10,000–20,000+ characters, or ideally having a much larger limit for bots that are specifically designed to support multiple characters. Please consider increasing the character description limit! It would make creating detailed, accurate multi-character roleplays SO much easier. 🙏

The bots will occasionally repeat one word to be eg:continue for chats and I’ve wasted so many gems on these stupid replies

LITERALLY ONE OF MY FAVORITE APPS EVER!!! I use it 24/7 lowkey and it’s so much better than poly or c.ai! It has more features and less annoying ads and expensive content. :)
Laggy and delayed
I tried to use this because I was bored and the delay in the app and chats make it hard to play.

I really love this app and it’s so amazing but the only issue I have it when I’m on a certain character and I try talking to other people it doesn’t let me, like I can only speak to the character I’m using and it’s kind of annoying.

Alternative to cai, but the responses feel too "AI" like. Cai actually had a story but this app isn't that good. Makes you use gems to chat but you can get them by watching adds

Good app, much like c.ai but sometimes the replies just don’t generate or stop in the middle of generating and there’s no way to fix it???

This app is my favorite go to ai chatbot it is actually so good and I love how the characters are accurate and have good memory unlike other ai chatbot apps! Peak! Peak! Peak!!!!
App sucks after 10 minutes
After about ten minutes, the chats start repeating and forgetting even if memories are pin. If you don’t follow the plots you can’t see it goes straight to fight drama mode.

Great app overall
I really like this app as a cai alternative due to their ridiculous updates. However, my only problem is the gems. This app has a feature where every chat generated takes a minimum of 3 gems. They also have a feature where you can watch ads for a 100 gems and also daily gems. I’ve been experiencing problems with the ads. It always says that ‘something is blocking ads’. I’ve tried all the methods listed, but nothing has worked. I’ve owned this app for months now yet the ads have only worked once. I am still able to acquire daily gems, but that just means I’ll spend less time on the app. Hope yall can fix this issue. Thanks

originally i really loved swerve!! however lately its gotten really and. the bots constantly forget what happens and also never follow the story of what i say and always do the opposite so lots of gems are wasted. very disappointing

its good but the memory is so bad, and they always make everything about the main character, leaving no room for side characters to talk. And the conversation are not that good, They say things that no one would ever say bc its so cringey or things that dont match the description of the character

It's so good, but there is one problem: when you chat and try to do the actions, it doesn't do this ** and I really hope you can fix that.

Daily gem limit
It’s an AMAZING app and I started using it after c.ai started adding time limits and ads, I totally agree with all the things about gems but why add a daily gem limit? I’d have to wait till the next day if my gems run out, it’s a good app, the AI answers well, it’s just the daily gem limit, and maybe turn the daily gems you get everyday for, 25 to 50?

I played this app for like maybe three hours Ish and it’s already asking me for money to continue talking to their bots, not worth it… do not recommend… honestly I think PolyBuzz is better… it at least gives you an option to watch an ad to keep playing, they just ask for gems or whatever…

So far I really like it! But there is a bug when I watch ads for gems but I don't get any. Also some chats are kinda mid. This is my dads name and I'm not sure if I should change it so plz don't mind if your reading reviews! There is also some lags and I can’t use it because it can’t load please fix it but my wi-fi is good

It’s a really good app and great since the downfall of C.ai but the ai is so badly behaved it js doesn’t listen and refuses to do the pov of the side character and always time skips for me
PLEASE READ
Editing my review after using the app more, so here are my current thoughts! I started using Swerve because a certain popular bot app/website is destroying their experience (you all know the one). I’ve been inputting my entire old conversation with a character, response by response, into Swerve for 4 or 5 days. Ads: They don’t clog up my screen! I adore this! They don’t pop up too often so I’m not annoyed when they appear. THANK YOU. Creating bots: Decent space for writing things out. I would like more personally, as I’ve had to sacrifice some of it to give expositional information about the world the character lives in (explained in my section about pins below). However, devs are already hoping to expand this in the future! Ease of use: Nothing in the app feels confusing or hidden. It runs smoothly, and if it starts to chug, closing and reopening the app fixes it. This is only during very long sessions. Responses: Similar to c.ai, but unfortunately can require more handholding/reminding the bot due to lack of pins. Would also like the length cap raised a bit. Responses can be lacking and repetitive. They really seem to hang on to what you just said, and not enough to the entire convo happening. For example, 🌶️ scenes need more reminders during roleplay scenarios. Bot sometimes wants to finish too soon and you have to be careful what you wrote. I also find responses tend to stop short more often during these kinds of scenes. General conversations are good but replies have a habit of being repetitive and not drawing enough from the rest of the convo. Overall these bots are not at C.ai level BUT I am very hopeful!! It’s not too far off!! Needs more pins📌: This is the BIGGEST CON and the thing dragging enjoyability down. I understand why it seems smart initially to keep pins behind a pay wall, but the certain popular bot app offers 15 for free. (Hopefully this can be fixed, as I know the app is run by just two people. Bravo btw!) If Swerve wants to grow, it will have to match that flexibility, as many people are accustomed to that amount. And 15 is still low, so 3 is a very odd choice. It’s not helping the app competitively, so increase paid pins to 20 and free to 15. For example, I usually write bulletpoint style messages once in a while for exposition purposes, and save those as pins. It saves on having to remind the bot about other frequent side characters, who is related to who, and who does what job (“X runs the general store with their husband Y. Their daughter is Z, who is five.” And so on, keep it short). Or that on Fridays, the entire town goes to a tavern (as per their video game of origin). Pinning that makes for a smoother experience! The other pins are carefully selected for when I need to return to plot points or something, but might need to have the bot do something else before the plot points can be addressed (Character needs to explore a cave ➡️ character needs to do something unrelated for one day ➡️ shucks, the bot remembers nothing about the cave because I couldn’t pin anything). I had to be very mindful in the past when selecting pins to replace, due to scarcity, but it still makes such a difference to have even 15. It allows for a better and more familiar experience to new users, who you are trying to draw in. I am afraid to buy Pro because if I need to skip a month or two, will all my pins be removed? I have a lot of hope for Swerve and really think it could grow so nicely if the cons were addressed. I am having a TERRIFIC time here so far! They also have a small but growing subreddit and the app creators are kind and responsive from what I’ve seen!

(UPDATE: Aug 26, I’m literally so addicted to this app. But remember to take breaks from writing then if you’re hella bored, this is an amazing app to chat with your bots :) I’ve been using this app for the past few days or weeks that I’ve forgotten to make a review on it, lol. But this has to be the best AI chatting platform I’ve used so far. The bots are excellent at recalling our past chats (sometimes, but still quite good at it), creating a group chat for all your favorite characters, offering free background choices that you earned while you chat, and more. I genuinely love and enjoy this game that suggesting some improvements will be lovely, such as adding more background options, a light mode or color themes instead of just dark mode, adding another character you forgot to add in a group chat that’s already active, and for the character information tab, instead of limiting the description to just 500 letters, perhaps increasing the limit to 200 or more letters limit. Once again, it’s the best app I’ve used so far. Keep up the great work! :) I’ll might update this review soon in case this is seen. (UPDATE: Things are going spectacular! For new users I totally recommend this app if you want your bot to remember past memories, you can even pin a specific chat you want it to remember. Also for the devs, can you add a delete feature that your able to remove a character off a group chat or add a new one? Thx!)

Kinda bad icl, some characters don’t leave you alone no matter how many times you tell it to, say if you want a conversation with a different character the same one will some how turn up n be weird

Worst app ever
At first I loved this app. But then become a problem with the ai. So I was roleplaying with a story and for some reason the ai wouldn’t let a side character speak. Would only focus on the main character and was so annoying like I couldn’t write any story because the ai either only awnsers as the main character or forgets what happened

But I really wish you could remove the daily limit I have so much to talk about with the bot and so many stories too! And I don’t mind the free gems n ads but the daily limit it’s gotta go and plus I heard from y’all from TikTok. So if you are reading this have a lovely day and please remove the daily limit I would wish for you guys to not end up like C.ai..

Bad support team
This app is genuinely good for casual chatting and roleplay. The experience is enjoyable if that’s all you’re looking for. However, the treatment of creators is a major letdown. The team comes across as stingy and unresponsive. Problems rarely get resolved, and messages often go unanswered. If you just want to jump in and chat, knowing that support won’t help when something goes wrong, it’s acceptable. But if you create bots and believe your work actually benefits the platform, you’ll likely be ignored. In that case, I wouldn’t recommend downloading it.
