What people like
- Bots have great memory and plot
- You can create your own characters
- Responses feel natural and long
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- App lags and crashes often
- Chat limits force waiting periods
- Hidden charges ruin the free trial
eh
its good. but many bugs, so many ads, and why is there a forward limit of all things? never add a chat limit.
Ads
EVERY CHAT I TRY TO GET INTO AN AD POPS UP AND I DON'T GO IN THE CHAT SO I CAN'T CHAT???
Great app, small complaint.
This app is great! I can make my characters, chat, change their text, it’s very similar to c.ai! My only issue is that it’s only for Apple, meaning that my friend that has samsung cannot get this app. This isn’t a huge issue but I’m just pointing it out.
Mochii
I think u should make ur reply’s shorter and i think u should listen to the peoples requests
Pay??
I really like the lifelike responses. But what I don’t like is how there’s a chatting limit. I really can’t pay for things like this, so I got this app. But now I have to pay? I might have to delete it and try a different one 😭
amazing alternative for c.ai
i genuinely love this app except for the fact that im making my own bots. thats not the apps fault but i just want bots that have more plot, not just an opening message saying hi or leave me alone or something. the replies from the bots are kinda slow sometimes but i feel they take the time to analyze your personal reply to give you the perfect answer. AND THE REPLIES ARE LONG AF I LOVE THAT please dont add time limits!!! the ads are annoying but whatever
Queja
No puedo hablan con los bot en español y tengo que hablar en inglés
Good overall
Good but I think the memory should improve more
Pretty decent
It always gets rid of the original response and u have to reload it cus it says response failed
Similarly to Predecessor
This App is very cool and it reminds me of character.ai before the updates that deteriorated its platform, definitely recommend it as an alternative platform
L app
call function doesnt work i wanted to troll the ai but it gave me am error which i googled and it said yall didnt pay for it to work💀
overall decent.
I've noticed, from reading reviews, that there is a common issue: the app glitches when sending chats to characters. I've noticed issues with personas, i cannot edit my personas once they're made (i just downloaded the app, unsure if that's a bug or not).
bugs
half of the app doesnt work
EVEN WORSE
I updated it thinking it would help with the sped but now it just starts writing a response and then stops and says “the conversation has changed but your original response has been saved” I tried for a full minutes regarding the sentence but non of it worked it all was the same response each time I really hope you can fix this problem I love the app other wise
I love the app just one problem
I really like this app so much after c.ai fell off it feels the same the only problem I have with it is that when you regenerate the bot’s message you can’t go back to the previous one…and that you can’t delete Messages…can you please maybe fix it??
Just don’t get it
Emochi is way better, this is just extremely hard to use, and doesn’t have any character from my fandom
Excellent
It is a very good app not bad the bots seem intelligent and have good memories and the only bad thing is the ads and the time limit.
great but has a problem
whenever i leave the chat or refresh the chat it takes me all the way up to the first message. it’s now restricting me from using the chat after 50 messages total in the first 6 hours and makes me wait till the afternoon. but it is amazing has no filter always makes good chat and has amazing memory. i recommend this to a person who has enough patience
Small improvement
If i’m gonna be honest this app seems pretty good for many things it’s just one thing missing is the persona description length is only 200. I can’t seem to make a decently good persona without needing at least 750+ words and sometimes even more. Poly ai has over 1500 letter usage which can sometimes be a little less than i need but it’s still a great bare minimum so i ask that you at least make the description lettering in the persona feature at least 1000 or a little less if possible.
THIS IS AMAZING
i love this app its cool and i can make lovly characters
200 characters limit for Personas?
This could’ve been the best thing ever. To have an even remotely good persona you have to at least have a 1000 letter limit. 😭 When you update it, let me know and i’ll be back ❤️
Just one problem
I feel like for making a character that the limits for everything should be as long as they are on c.ai.
Why can’t I chat my own character?
There are no tutorials whatsoever how to use this app I don’t know if it’s the apps problem or me plss how do I chat??
Not bad
It’s not bad, however, the ads are super annoying. That makes people not wanna use the app. And whenever I type, the screen goes black.
it's actually good
i downloaded this because chai wasn't working and i was trying to find an alternative and this one is actually quite good i have had any problem with any the bots so far!, so glad i found this app and it doesn't have a limit!
Deleting
It won’t let me delete my account
Pretty good
things I'll change but this is great
Fix your sign up?
It looks like a good app ngl but can you fix the app when signing up in iphone? It keeps making me go to an website where “safari cant reach” stuff like that and like it says localhost stuff like that, it really still has some error.
It’s okay
I have just started using it since chai stopped working completely after an hour or so…. And it seems fine but there’s one thing that’s bugging me and putting me off the app- when I make my own character I can’t click on it and when I find it in the search bar. The subtitles are the same and the picture but when I click on the bot itself all the writing has changed into an ai generated version. Which has it’s advantages like one of them was actually quite good and easy to advance the story line but it does get on my last wick when I’ve spent so long doing that and it just disrupts my character inpu! Needs fixing but other than that it’s been good. Again. I’ve only been using it for about 20 minutes
Lol
En general es buena app, el chat es bueno, solo hacen falta más personas que creen personajes, ya que hay muy pocos
Deletion
Delete my account
Pretty good but few bugs
The app is great, I love of the characters chat and that it has no limit. I will say that the app can randomly stop working after sending a chat which means I have to restart the app, I did have a problem trying to chat with a character I had made, I had to search my own character despite having made it. Other than that, the app is great.
ayuda!!
Cuando me meto a la app no me deja chatear con nadie y no me aparecen los personajes! No me deja poner mi correo
Cool app
It keeps crashing everytime I try and play the voice
took my money
this app took my money without my consent. it advertised the FREE trial would be $0.00 but charged my card of $10.59. don't recommend
Pretty good
It lags and sometimes the screen freezes and it gets worse when you’re not paying 8.99 a month other than that the bots are good along with the storytelling.
It’s okish?
The app works fine but no matter what the home page won’t load and my WiFi is alright. The bots are good, dialogues are amazing but still the app feels like a cheep quality. Just my opinion 🤷♀️
The voices
Every single time I use the voice, it goes to a high pitch to low pitch. Why can I not be the same just high pitch or just low pitch not the same like not together because it’s like having a horrible voice crack
Really good app but one problem
This is a good app but i dont like how it lags when i get farther into the chat fix this please!
Lag bug
I just installed the app but cant chat any. The app seems to broke, I cant interact to press on character go chat, or the chat froze at loading
Illegally charged
This app illegally charged me after a free trial! It didn't give me any type of warning that the trial was ending (like it said it would). I was also charged $95 even though i was doing a trial for a $14 perk!
Performance Issues
I seem to have a problem where the app will be very laggy after chatting for a few minutes. I wouldn’t expect it to lag considering I’m on iPhone 17 but it does. Other than that I really enjoy chatting with the bots. One more thing I’d like for change is an increase in allowed words for when writing your characters intro, background, etc.
