Great!
Unique and really great music app! Love the curation!
Subscription
There is no reason to download this app anymore because of the paywall
Great, very limited free options
Great app, have had a blast discovering new music I probably never would have otherwise heard! Without paying, you do only get access to 9 countries over four decades—which, yes leaves plenty to explore, but if you’re going in looking for a specific country you may find yourself disappointed. Understandably they have to make money but I’m not willing to give a full five stars because of this. Please download and try it out regardless!
Used to be great
Used to love this app and have been using it on and off for almost a decade. Was great as a radio station for the world but now the app seems glitchy and the fact you have to pay is disappointing when generally radio is free by definition.
app crashing in recent os 26
hmmm this app is powerful but free one is giving black screen since it goes subscription
Marvelous
This is why the internet was invented. Beautiful. I’ve never reviewed an app until today. Signed up 30 minutes ago. If you are sonic-curious and thirsty for sounds you’ve never heard before, this scratches that itch in a way I never thought possible. Thank you for making this, wish I found it sooner. Apparently long time users are unhappy about having to pay. I get it, but I would pay $100+/ month for the enjoyment I get from this.
so glitchy you cant even pick a channel or time
the glitch was insane, kept rapidly jumping through countries and times automatically without playing any of the channels btw, and without me even doing anything, also when that stopped, the radio was silent, it was only forcing only one channel and even that channel wasnt playing just the cover not to mention it kept banning me for "too many requests" i didnt even get to request anything yet id just logged in when the app started tweaking
I like
I wish there was a sleep timer! I love this app so much. Also, wished the country selection for non subscribers had more variety. Such a cool app
Used to be so nice years ago
now you have to pay to basically do anything i don’t remember it like this
Was great until they made it pay to play
I’ve been using this to find and enjoy different and eclectic music for years, and then of course it fell to the machine and became a fully subscription based app. They’ve always offered a subscription plan, but now you cant even use the app at all in the same way you always could. I can’t really afford to have yet another monthly subscription under my belt, so I will have to unfortunately say goodbye to this once wonderful app that used to be my favorite in the AppStore. It’s definitely sad but I suppose thats just the way of the world…
Stunning
I don't think there's enough I can say about this app. It's just the coolest thing ever. I get to connect with all kinds of music from all over the world from different areas. The experience of the app is super fun too… I love the taxi feature where you can choose multiple countries and multiple eras. Just a relentlessly cool experience!
Came back to app and it sucks horribly now
Horrible app, not even worth the download. Was the best app on the market and was free. Realistically I would pay like 5 bucks or 10 bucks for a permanent app but the subscription model is horrible. Would not recommend at all 1 star app
Amazing App
This has rekindled my love for music. It is such an amazing app however, sometimes it can be glitchy, but I try to look past this as the app allows me to discover so many new artists and genres. They make music exciting as you never know what to expect.
subscription models suck
I loved this app when I first got it but the majority of the music options are now blocked behind a paywall. I see no point to using this app anymore since I'm certainly not going to pay a monthly subscription for what used to be free.
Not an amazing app, cool concept though
The app is kind of glitchy and requires an email/subscription to listen to anything. The songs play relatively well and give you an option to choose the era/ time.
Art isn’t free
This app is such a treasure…to those who gripe about having to pay for access, do you think it’s free to build/design/maintain this? Give me a break - it’s $5 a month
Subscriptions sucks
Please go back too before you had the stupid subscription. Just add ads if need be!!!!
great idea
such a fun music discovery app. still unclear whether the red or blue buttons mean on vs off and also wish the music would not change instantly with every little exploration. would be great to dial in where you want to go and the settings you want and then commit/play.

一年不更新了？过分了！
Was 5 star - this should state it’s a paid app not free
I have listened with great joy & amazement stem to that’s free. while skipping from country to country & comparing decades… until a recent update forces you to a ‘premium trial’ endlessly. I can’t find anything to that’s free. Please re-classify it as a paid app & tell was what it costs and what we get.
Love love love this app
There. I said it
Greed
This used to be a proper app letting you explore all the countries at any era, only down side you have a limited amount of skips. Now you don’t have all the era’s you want and only handful of countries. And they want a premium to something I can just easily look up. Disappointed
Great app but...
I love everything about this app, but every time I leave it running in the background, the track stops playing. The devs wrote that they fixed it in their newest update but it still stops what I’m listening to and reverts it to 1970s music from England. Please fix this, other wise great.
Lack of choice
paywalling just being able to pick countries and decades is nuts, at this point id be better off searching online for music because at least then i have the choice of what i can listen to.
Please include features and pricing somewhere?
I have just downloaded it today. I can’t seem to do anything in the app without being prompted to sign up for a free trial of premium. I am not opposed to paying as I like the idea of the app, but I think you should either update the description on the app store or include the information in that prompt of: - what features you can access with free vs paid plans - how much premium costs if there are no free access features, you should change the “in app purchases” to show the subscription price. The rating is 3 stars because I have not actually been able to try the app yet—I don’t want to put my information in for a free trial without knowing how much it costs even if you don’t collect payment information.
The Best
The best app on the Apple store. Some minor bugs, but you don’t care cause the app is so good.
Change it Back
Why did you guys do this to your app. It used to be cool 😔
Great (if buggy) app
Radiooooo is GREAT for music—my favourite music app. However, this app is due for a little spring clean—there are quite a few bugs (can not register or log in, music will sometimes abruptly stop playing, etc). It’s still worth a download! I hope the folks at radiooooo give their great service a tune up soon.
Glitch ruined the fun
Used to hop on this app all the time but recently tried to do so, and it’s just continually bouncing from song to song with out the chance to play, or listen! Please look into it
good…until
good until they made it so you had to get a membership to do anything
Revolutionary
Such a brilliant idea and execution! A really great way to explore new music outside of the monotonous sameness of Spotify or other streaming platforms!!!
You got greedy and now it’s all paywalled.
I hate it when an app gets “updated” only for the developers to lock you out of features that used to be free. I never review apps but I will be glad to help lower your rating if you’re going to be greedy and create “premium” features. The worst part is, the oldest music is the most likely to be public domain, and yet you have tried to charge us for it. I’d give zero stars if I could.
Brilliant but needs some tweaks
I love this app but it still does not let me make an account which it said was included in the bug fixing:( other than that I love the app, I also wish you could look through your history to see what you have already played or even be able to go rewind and skip songs!
Great idea…
But basically useless unless you pay to subscribe, and the free version lacks too many things for it to be worth while. Great idea, but it’s a swing and a miss in my opinion. App deleted.
interesting, but costly.
i love finding vintage and underground music, this app is definitely amazing for finding new songs. however, it’s too pricey. i’d give it 5 stars if we could actually play out liked songs. ironic how we have to pay for the music that the devs didn’t even discover themselves..
It’s worth paying for curation
A lot of people seem to think maintaining an app and paying editorial staff is free. Think of this as paying a patreon subscription for music discovery. Also, if you run a coffee shop or something you should just grab this app and you’d immediately have the best tunes in town
反对台独！！！
作者没有秉持一个中国原则，将中国大陆和中国台湾视作两个国家，令人憎恶！强烈谴责！反对台独！立即整改！
Amazing app and and adventure
But why do I have to login every 10 mins? Why doesn’t it have a permanent login?
I am paying for it but it has stopped working
After launching the app it freezes in a light blue screen. When working this is a gem of an app!! Though I wish it had more songs sometimes. Depending on the selected country and the type of songs you get a lot repeated after a while.
Great app but...
Love it. But a few questions. How do I make a Playlist? Also can’t find the ability to skip forward or back a track? Am I missing something?
I luv it a lot!
[2025 edit] I saw the app changed to subscription and though I have no used the app for a while, I immediately paid for a year. I believe what the app does is valuable, unique and worthy of my support. Half the price of Spotify? An easy ask for me. For someone interested in old, foreign and weird music, this is a Godsend app! I love it so much! Discovery! Ways to improve it: * make some sort of report button. I had a track come up supposedly from 1930's Brazil that was obviously modern. * a skip button at least like Pandora's. I had "Popeye The Sailor Man" come on twice. * a link to buy is great and obvious, but how about a link for any more information on the artist or the song. Most listeners of this music are probably scholarly in their interest and will appreciate it.
They completely ruined it
By making a pay thing removed the main quality of it, which is a basic Free music listening thing that had optional paid things you could do. add, but it’s not the only option for using the service you can do it free paying just added a nice extra thing to your experience they blew it turned it into some stupid subscription service. Removing the primary draw for me and I assume many others
Loving radiooooo
Loving radiooooo. But can't login with account. Reset password etc but can't login and therefore can't upload. In the meantime, enjoying exploring
Culturally Ignorant
Deeply disappointing that Scotland, Wales, England and a big chunk of Ireland are all lumped in together. All of these countries have hugely divergent musical cultures. It’s a bit like lumping France, Germany, Spain and Italy all under “Europe”, which would be patently absurd.
Amazing concept but unstable
Absolutely fantastic app but it constantly logs me out meaning I’m unable to favourite any of the incredible songs on here. Once that’s sorted it’ll be a 5+ review
Great
I was stuck in a music rut - everything on Spotify started sounding the same, even when I tried to explore new stuff. It made the world feel small. Then I re-discovered this app while actively searching for something fresh, and it was a breath of fresh air. It really broadens your musical mindset. It used to be glitchy - great news, that’s no longer the case. Just pure discovery. This keeps it natural and positive. Let me know if you’d like any further tweaks! (This post isn’t sponsored btw)
Used it daily… until the free option evaporated.
And now it’s gone from my device. Too bad because i really liked the idea; paywall deployment could’ve been smoother, let’s just say.
a great app!
had this less than 24 hrs and already think it's one of the best apps i've ever got. Love the mix of styles and how you navigate using a world wap.
Re.....wind.....button
Can’t rewind...add this and it’s 5 star app. Without it it’s just super annoying.
Amazing app but still glitchy!
First of all I don't want to write this in a review but the App Support link takes me no where. Downloaded this app just the other day and I have listened to it continuously since and would like to carry on doing so but I've noticed that my favourite 'Island' feature has somehow disappeared! What happened to 'Apperito' (or something spelt like that) - in addition trying to favourite tracks is difficult when the app doesn't keep you logged in at all times. Where are your 'liked' tracks kept? Maybe I'm being stupid but I feel like I've clicked everywhere and still I can't seem to find my list. I love love love this app but it could do with being worked on a little... and please bring back my favourite and currently missing island! Thanks all, the music is superb xxx
