It’s stuck on recording using the phones mic.
It use to record internally now it’s somehow stuck using the phones mic so you hear people talking and the music is very weak. How do I switch it back

Needs camera feature
This app is not bad but it needs to offer feature of camera streaming as well since the iPhone environment doesn’t allow app crosstalk

When I try to cancel it, not giving me the option to cancel. It’s feeling like it’s giving a money scam. There’s also no customer service so I’m gonna have to bit the bullet

Convenient, but buggy
I've had an issue where the recordings come out way faster bpm then I recorded. Issues with is not recording at all. Gotta shut down any other audio apps, and restart.
Slow Update
When working this has been a good app and served me well. However, since iOS 26 was released, there were clear issues and no update to tackle the compatibility issue appears to be in sight. To be asked by pioneer/alphatheta not to update your phone for the sake of nothing being sorted is crazy. No update has meant I have had to look for other ways to record sets.

Recorded a whole set and it’s completely slowed down. I fr wasted an hour of time on this. Can’t believe they charge people when there’s free ways to do it… just thought I’d try it and irs garbage
Good app just 1 MAJOR issue
I like the app, very straightforward but the issue is: when you switch screens, the mixer that it’s connected to (in this case DJM-450) there are clicks and pops.
Still not working
Updated the app now that iOS 26 is supposed to be supported. Still not working. Connected to the A9 and the app always wants to record with the iPhone mic. Can’t believe I spent money on this app.

It’s a paid for app and the iOS version has been out long enough but still no update released for this. When is the update coming to support iOS26?
Worth the mixer you need
Best recorded platform as far as Quailty goes by far. Has a limiter! No distortion!

Yes there was some user error but I finally decided to try and use this to record a big set and when I closed my phone the app stopped recording. Ruined my perfect night
RMX-Ignite & DJM-REC issues
So DJM-REC works fine when I’m using a DJM-A9 with two CDJ-3000x .However, I’ve run into an issue since purchasing the RMX-Ignite. For the RMX Ignite to function properly with Pro DJ Link—specifically for quantize and sync—it needs to be connected to the Multi I/O port. The problem is that DJM-REC also needs to use that same Multi I/O port in order to correctly generate a track list while recording. So now I’m stuck because both the RMX Ignite and DJM-REC require the same port to function the way I need them to.

Love this app and it has helped me countless times creating content. Very frustrating that as soon as an ios update comes out, this app is useless as all recorded videos then slow down. If this could be fixed quicker it would be a perfect app in my opinion PLEASE FIX ISSUE

Great easy to use app
Probably the worst app I’ve ever used in my life
I never give app reviews but for this horrendous app I will. They charge you $10 for an app that could be vibe coded in 2 seconds to be better. On top of that, the app DOESN’T record audio properly if you have ios26. It will say it’s recording fine, and after you’re done DJing, the app obliterates the audio quality by changing the sample rate or something, so it sounds super pitched down and slower. Changing the sample rate does not fix the recording either. I’ve tried recording at least 5 different sets now and every time there is an issue with the app and my recording either stops early, or doesn’t record in proper quality.
How do you get the transitions to show up automatically when you mix one song to another
The old version allowed you to see the transitions automatically with a T how do you get that in the new version?

iOS 26 Update
When recording a mix after updating my phone to iOS 26, it’s not recording in real time, it records way slower, I recorded a 35.00 min mix & when ejected, it’s final time was 45.26…I’ve tried numerous different ways to combat this, does the same thing every time. I used my old phone to record another mix, with an old update, works perfectly every time. iOS 26 bug needs fixing asap

Does NOT work with ios26 & DJM900NXS2 - NOT FIXED AFTER 9 MONTHS SINCE iOS UPDATE RELEASED.
Super buggy, audio is messed up, slowed, and distorted now with iOS26. Doesn't properly record audio from the mixer. We had a professional gig and we needed recordings of all our dj sets. NONE of them sound clear. Has to be bugged with ios26 which has been out for 9 months already btw...yet they only alerted users to not upgrade to the new iOS after last month's app update. You have got to be joking me. Used my older iphone 7+ and records audio perfectly from the 900nxs2. This is just another app that this company makes that ends up buggy and broken and won't ever get fixed because the devs do not test or keep this app updated. I genuinely cannot believe this company is the 'industry standard'. I mean...even this app's own copyright information below in the app store still shows it's from 2020 lol. Can't even be bothered to update to 2026. They clearly do not care. Insane to think a $7k+ CDJ setup cannot record clean audio.
Great but with flaws
Generally, this is a great app, but there is one standout problem which many people have raised and which Pioneer have not addressed. It is the fact that the app defaults to recording from the microphone on your phone, rather than the line in from the mixer via your cable. It means that when you plug in your phone cable to the mixer, you have to go into the settings to switch off the mic recording option, this is a real pain, especially if you are in a high-pressure situation like a fast switch over from the previous DJ for example. The default needs to be from the mixer, not from the microphone. There should be a button on the main screen allowing this switch to be made, rather than having to go into settings. Please Pioneer, address this issue. I’ve had several gigs where upon reviewing the recording of my set I discovered that it was recording from the microphone instead - meaning that the set is lost forever.

Would be great but…
Everything about this app works well other than one very important feature, it increases the tempo and pitch of everything recorded. The app is easy to use, easy to connect and very easy to stream, upload or save your content but this one issue ruins that. For example, I record an hour set in 175bpm, the recorded output is 180bpm and about 54 mins in total. I have to import into audacity and change it back. Why do this? Please fix.

I’ve loved this app for the longest time as it’s the easiest way to record a mix off my djm-900nxs2. Unfortunately I also didn’t realize the ios26 update will wreck this apps capability. Recorded several mixes to test and some playback sped up, others are super slowed down. We need a fix with this asap PLEASE!
Works great
Using to record sets via DJM A9 - it works really well, no issues. Just make sure you use a good USB C cable as I noticed on cheap 3rd party cables some static interference. Uploading to Dropbox and a dead easy, it would be amazing if tracklist data could be saved automatically to the app based on what the CDJs were playing.
Basic and functional
The app does what it says on the tin. The sharing options post mix are a bit lacklustre, but it has always done me solid. However when is the ios26 OS going to be supported? This app has been unusable since last September time. When I record from my djm, the music is slow and distorted during playback.

Sorry for posting this here. I’ve had some clients using this app to record DJ sets, but we can’t figure out how to only record the DJ console and disable the recording through the internal mic.
Outdated App
The app doesn’t work with the new XDJ-AZ, this should be an easy fix with a few firmware updates but it seems Alpha Theta can’t be bothered.

Most convenient way to record your sets
I have come to rely on this app to record my podcasts and gigs as it is so inexpensive and easy to use. I like the option to use the limiter of the djm. The only things I would change are adding the ability to name the recordings within the app. Also, Pioneer needs to be faster with their updates, as most times iOS is updated, the app doesn’t work.
Recording at double speed
Got a few good sets out of it but has become hit and miss at what speed it will record. Can’t see anything in the settings relating to it and nothings been changed on my sound card as other apps are recording fine.
Cannot use soundcloud app feature
I cannot enable soundcloud export, not sure why I’ve paid and cannot use this feature.

Doesn’t work with iOS 26! Known issue for months
This app fakes you out and looks like it’s recording correctly but then the recording is completely garbled. They’ve known about this issue for months yet no update has come. So unprofessional DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP They’ve responded below asking for more info on my complaint, and I’ve done that. All they told me is that this is a known issue and I should wait for an update.
Can this app be compatible with my xdj-rx
I know I can record to USB on my controller but I would love if this did it so I can utilise the Facebook live feature etc
Not really user friendly
Pioneer need to step up their game when it comes to user interface weather it’s for rekordbox or this app. We have no idea weather it is recording with the microphone or directly from the mixer (which what we expect from this app.)

Incompatible with so many devices… It’s only good for the nexus 2000… countless times I experience this app to not be compatible with many typical setups in at least 50% of venues.
