This airline has deceptive business practices
deceptive business practices: reservation system only asks for first and last name, then when you arrive at the counter, they say you need to add your middle name, and charges a $22 usd fee to make the change. The app also doesn’t work. I can’t see my reservation. There’s not even a place to write in my reservation number

You can buy tickets but you cannot log in or check your bookings. Just use the website. This app is completely worthless!

The website is very glitchy and the back / home button appears to have stopped working. Request for : Route map - remove destination airports that lionair do not fly to - keep it simple which is good, but make it reliable

You can only book flights. If you choose any of the other three options they don’t do anything or take you to the website. The 3 bars have the same options on the Home Screen, a contact list and a “Rate 5 stars”. At least I got a quick link to rate this app 1 star. You’re an airline that has people’s lives in your hands every single day. Do better.
Payment and booking problem
I tried to do payment from the application but the app. could not complete the process. Then I tried to book again but the app. shown me that I can not duplicate the booking. I can not cancel the previous booking from the mobile app. I had tried many method but I still could not cancel it. Finally, my partner have to use her account to book the tickets from the web site (not from the mobile app.).

Useless app
There’s no way to add existing bookings and the check in button launches the browser, so the app appears to do nothing useful whatsoever.
Clunky and hard to find info
Very clunky to use, and really hard to get useful info on fare details esp baggage limits. Weird given the company is clearly driving traffic to the app by geoblocking access to the website from within Thailand. Bizarre experience
Payment Issue only in Thailand
A few problems 1. There was now way to sign into App to show my history and status. 2. When I paid with my credit card I was positive I had input the correct information but on submitting the page for payment an Error message appeared saying I had input the wrong card Expiry date. But would not allow me to rectify the mistake. I was only able to make alternative payment at airport counter , at Big C etc. when I opened the App next day I could see my flight was booked in upcoming bookings so I decided to pay at the airport. Later on on the day of the flight I saw the App said I had no booked flights. So I attempted to book a new flight on the same flight because my flight booking appeared to be cancelled. The flight would not book on the App saying a flight in the same name was booked already. Very inconvenient because I was relying on this flight to Don Muang Airport BKk to meet with my international flight. I later made a change to my international booking and did not show to the ThaiLion flight, still not paid for. I have today booked a new flight for next week to fit my new schedule. I saw that the problem is that when you enter your card expiry date which is a 11/26 for me when you enter the year (26) the month (11) changes back to 01. If you miss this quirk of the App you submit the wrong details. And then in the ‘ Amazing Thailand ‘ style we love the App will not allow you a second chance submit another payment and you must pay at the airport. It’s great that the flight is held but the level of uncertainty and extra time required to pay at the airport is not inspiring of confidence. 3. Another gripe is I contacted Thai lion on the provided customer contact Email provided but again disappointedly received no response, there is a national holiday ongoing though. The new price I paid a week ahead of the flight was about 1700baht with 10kgs of checked baggage (270baht). 4. Disappointingly I have check my emails and junk and no email of confirmation has arrived and my confidence that one will be forth coming is at an all time low 😀 5. After paying for the flight with no confirmation email I have just been presented with a review section. I have given 3/5 stars which I believe is fair but when it comes to the review I cannot see the text I am typing. I am currently typing this review in the chat box of my line App and will copy and paste it into the review box and hope the review uploads. In summary, what a bunch of jokers. Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for takeoff….maybe.

We paid an excessive price to fly this airline, and our flight is now in a 30 minute delay, and not even flight crew or captain will not disclose the reasoning behind the delay. This is the last time I will be flying Thai Liar Air

Save the download and use BookCabin since that’s where you will be sent to when you hit check in. The other buttons simply don’t work.

Kick you out
Once all info entered tried to select seats and was kicked out as soon as I clicked on a seat. Went back in and now said flight was sold out. Tried another flight that had plenty of seats and was kicked out again. Another flight had mysteriously sold out in 90 seconds. Has plenty of bugs that need fixed.

Terrible app. There is nowhere for me to log in and manage my logging so it forces me to go to the web site. I don’t know why there is an app if you cannot log in and manage your tickets and check in.
