Why ads when I subscribe to Newsmax?
I love the app. However, for the last few weeks, when I open the app, I have to listen to an ad first, despite the fact that I have a paid subscription to Newsmax. Worse, even if I change the orientation of the phone, the ad cuts In all over again and I lose listening to the segment I was watching. Can you please do something about this? If we subscribe, we should not have to listen to an ad every time we boot the app. Thanks.

Paid for newsmaxplus and can’t get it no matter how many times I try. Waited an hour in hold and tye person that answered couldn’t help
Podcasts
Podcasts were once uploaded once the show had aired or not long there after. It would be great if Newsmax could get back to that level of immediacy. Can’t this process be automated? Kind regards Dedicated Aussie Viewer
Review
Some days app will stop streaming every 5-10 minutes and other days it’s fine. It drives us crazy and has even pushed us to change the channel many times. If it continues we’ll stop paying and move to something else.

What ever happened to the comment section ? It’s not after the article. Are they going to fix it ? What happened to this program ?
Glad I switched
Dumped Fox News app 6 mos ago due to ads being overwhelming and app unusable ……Very, very happy with Newsmax app and only selective ads that don’t interfere with my daily reading …love it!
Fix your app!
It’s garbage on the TV and the phone. It is almost daily that “something went wrong” and we’re subscribers! We pay to miss our favorite shows and it’s beyond infuriating. I’ve commented on X plenty of times begging you guys to do something. If you want to push subscribers away, this is how you do it!
GK Program Review
Your protocols do NOT allow me to tap-tap fast forward past the commeecials.. This is absolutely maddening !! There is NO way to skip the commercials. I want to see News, not advertising !! FIX IT !! ( iPhone 6 ) Paul F Knittel (In Japan)
Simple design
Update app with more stories
Crash
This app crashes constantly in the afternoon, wish they would fix the bugs.
Bad connection
I watch Newsmax daily, I have noticed more often that the news is lagging behind. Not sure if it’s the app, or my connection…but it only happens on Newsmax. I love Carl Higbie and I have to back out and re-enter the app to be able to watch his show. Thank you we love this app.
Wake up people, these people are shilling for money.
First they offer themselves about every 20 minutes for the initial public offering. Read the small letters you have to come in at $500,000. their commentators have no military experience except for Carl H. All they do is pump up themselves and chill for money. When a news organization becomes an IPO, run away from it. Now they will be holding the stockholders. Not the actual news.
AUDIO stream PLEASE!!!
I like this app and the station but, I can’t listen to it and still use my phone. Because it’s video and there is no option for a live audio stream, as soon as you minimize the app to open another app, it stops playing. Please!!! Make a live audio only stream option.
Bad App
I love Newsmax but hate your app it’s terrible. Keeps crashing. Content unavailable F09. It’s not my internet as I have never had this problem with my other apps (NetFlix,Discover+,Prime,). Do you even read these reviews? This problem goes back 2 years. Everyone likes Newsmax but they hate your app. Please fix this because I am regretting buying this app.
Too many pop up advertisements
RAV is better with much less pop up’s
Newsmax
Newsmax is always on in my home. It’s the only way to get the real news.
Comment section
Deleted your app and am very disappointed in the removing the comments from your site.
Please rename the app
People care about honest opinions can’t trust the so-called mainstream media any longer, and Newsmax is a wonderful alternative to all those self-deceiving propaganda jokes. Well done! A little advice, the app name is apparently too long, please just make it shorter.
Lots of Chum and Ads
Going to Newsmax.com within the ad and after scrolling past the articles, there’s LOTS of CHUM articles and ADS! How many? I counted between 30 and 60, yes up to SIXTY combined chum and advertising mixed with LOTS REPEATING! This is also after reading any articles IF you scroll past the end. I found this by wanting to find the basic About Us, Contact Us, Privacy stuff, etc. type links usually at the bottom of a web page. I like Newsmax, but do they really have to have that much scum? Key thing is DON’T scroll too far. At the first repeat of any headlines STOP SCROLLING or you’ll be in the scum.
3 stars
I pay for this service and I only watch it at home and no one else has my sign in yet I have to constantly re sign in. That is so annoying because no one can remember all their sign in stuff. FIX THIS
Please update!

Advertising posing as articles
I love NewsMax but the app is atrocious. It constantly ask me to accept cookies even if I already said I want the necessary only but the worst part is all the advertising posing as news notifications. There was one about glucosamine and I thought it was a serious article but instead it was an advertising. I really felt taken advantage off. I have a busy life I can’t be bothered distinguishing between real news notifications and spam. Removed the app.
Too many ADS
Newsmax is the only news i watch… I bought the prime since they started to change, ok… the reason i gave newsmax only three stars is because they have been suffocating the viewers with tones of ads… i had counted 8 ads during one break…
Wendy Bell common sense
Looking for my favorite Wendy Bell’s common sense I seem to struggle trying to find it. When does she come on not that the rest of you aren’t doing a great job, but I want to see my little sister.
BBC Senility
Objective reporting? The BBC has gradually lost it. They are just following the mob now with no new revelations or serious interpretation of events.
Used to be my Fav
Now I don’t watch much, ever since they made the pay wall I stopped. Newsmax2 is so poorly put together it’s not really worth it any more. NTD and Right Side broadcasting are now my go to news. I am sorry to write this…. I used to love Newsmax….
Pay for it my cable but have to pay again for the app
If I already pay for it on my cable why do I have to pay again to watch it on my phone? Would watch it at work but Fox News is free so I watch that instead.
Only news I trust!
This is a great news station. The app may not be the best in terms of functionality, but I watch NewsMax every day and will continue to watch it for the rest of my life. Keep up the good work, NewsMax!
Hate this app
The most frustrating app ever. Have cleared data and shut down, restarted and re-signed in many times. Paid app that is useless because it shuts down, kicks me out and I spend more time trying to fix it than I do watching the news. It’s too bad because I love their content. Canceling my subscription.
Doesn’t load
I get a notification and when I click it, the app stalls
What is wrong with the app?
I love NewsMax and have watched for a few years now. Why do I lose sound all the time when watching or it doesn’t load? The last month or so this app hasn’t been good.
A light for the truth in America 🇺🇸
Newsmax is the only news I trust. I watch it every day to stay informed about what’s really happening in America. I’m proud to be an owner of this company because they stand up for the values that matter to my family and my faith. Thank you for being a light for the truth and for all the hard work you do. Much love to the whole team!
App closes constantly
I have watched Newsmax since the beginning so when it became a paid app we signed up to continue. For the last few months the tv app closes so often I have to hold the controller to continue watching. I have cleared the cashe, deleted the app then added it again, reset the tv but nothing works! It still closes. I have read this is not uncommon and really hope you do something to fix the app. I really don’t want to cancel our subscription but with the app closing every 3 minutes is frustrating and not what I should be paying for. It’s nice that you have more viewers now but I think Newsmax needs to upgrade to handle the amount of viewers or upgrade the system.
Right Wing Craziness
They will block your account from posting comments if you say anything judged to be anti-right or left-wing. If you are a Qanon-loving right-wing nut, you’ll fit right in.
Reason for Rating
Newsmax started with a bang. It has fizzled out since. Now, it is a mouthpiece for Trump. I am tired of hearing that democrats are to be blamed for all wrongs (I am a rightist independent thinker).
Gave up trying to get back joining…
It was a simplistic issue not able to fit info into space provided. Help !!! Lead me to how I can get this great news station on my Smart TV NOW
Worthless
You can’t even sign on. I tried several times we don’t recognize that email. Well I’m trying to register. That’s OK though cause I’m sick and tired of listening to them put down Fox News and hearing about the Panama Canal. Etc. etc.. it’s to bad you have to put down somebody else to try and get people to watch your show.
Your going to lose viewers
This app I have enjoyed the past 2 - 3 a lot. Recently every time I get on this app it seems like I have to watch 5 or more commercials before getting any news at all. Maybe lighten up on the commercials a little please. I understand you make money from these advertisements but you don’t have to be greedy. I pay a subscription fee for the app. Just like a lot of people do. Thank you.
Buffering Issues
Newsmax itself is great, however the app is awful. Only on Newsmax does it stop and I need to restart. It doesn’t do that on any other app. But since I love Newsmax I am putting up with the buffering and restarting issues. But all the Newsmax content is invaluable.
Worst app in the app store
This app is terrible on Apple TV. It freezes on the front page some proportion of the time. When it does allow navigation to the channels, it is sluggish, often taking 20-30 seconds to respond to a selection. Getting out of it takes unhuman patience. Newsmax has much to recommend it, but the app makes it almost unwatchable
Needs Work
The app continues to display the wrong title to what’s actually on. For instance, I’m watching “National Report” but the app displays “Finerty”
