Challenging and engaging app.
Very stimulating and addictive app filled with great tests of mental skills. Keeps you thinking sharp and quick
Won’t let you end subscription
I tried the app and I liked it well enough but I didn’t like the micro transactions that made me feel like a little kid playing Fortnite, before the free trial ended I emailed them and told them I did not want to subscribe they said “we’re sorry your thinking of ending your subscription, are you sure?” I didn’t respond and they attempted to charge me for the year anyway, dirty company.
Change it back plz! (Amazing app)
I love this app if I could I’d vulgar words to describe it. Truly great for what it sets out to do. BUT PLZ GO BACK TO THE FORMER POST GAME STATS!! I liked seeing my incremental increase everytime I did a work out, like the EPQ level. I dislike the “high score!” And 3 starts thing. I feel it trivializes the goal of practice and improvement and makes this feel like a slop ad mobile game. Please never let it become that
Annoying setup, can’t easily quit
Initial setup took way too long, too many annoying questions. Then, fed up with trivial play, I could not simply exit the current game and quit. When I finally got out, I deleted the app. Way overhyped.
Good but beware
I like the app it’s interesting and gives my Brian a little workout. However I thought I was paying a month to month fee and it charged me a whole year! And you can’t easily challenge the charge it bc it’s not in your Apple subscriptions. So I canceled it but have a whole year to use unless I do a deep dive on how to contact someone at the company. Annoying
So Fun
I totally enjoy playing this game.
Canceling App Doesn’t Work
I had this app, cancelled before the trial ended and twice they have tried to charge my card. I ended up notifying my bank. What a scam!
Tricky at first
Tricky at first but once you figure it out and finds it challenges your mind a bit
Glitchy
The games are fine. I appreciate the practice, but it’s so glitchy. Even if you train, it’ll utilize a streak freeze and say you haven’t trained. Sometimes the trainings are repetitive, as well.
Optimal
Good Job,,,
Sparked my brain up
I have many meetings and collaborations at work, and I can notice a difference in my communication and word choices. Elevate has helped me tremendously improve my communication and expand my vocabulary.
They Scam You For Your Money
Every other app allows you to manage your subscription in your IPhones settings. If you subscribe for their trial, you have to email them to cancel it. Its not right. $40 out of nowhere for an app that’s really not elevating anything besides their profits. If I don’t get a refund Im disputing the charge.
I like it
Sometimes it seems to get somethings wrong. I also think there should be a better rating than the 2/3 when you get all but one wrong.
Paying for game to improve yourself, but it chastises you if you get one wrong.
Maybe I'm a kid at heart, but when I play Duolingo it gives me lots of positive feedback, and I'm going on 2 y streak w them. This game feels like a chore. Also, I like the reading and memory association, but vocab starts and stays too easy.
Too American
I like this and use it every day but wish it was less American. I have never heard of some words used.
Speech Therapist Review
I downloaded this app years ago to play for myself and have since used it in speech-language therapy sessions with school aged patients as well as adults! Its memory activities are great for improving cognition and its language apps are great for receptive-expressive language functioning. Sometimes I even do a family FaceTime and play with my mom! It’s great!
Scam, charged me for 1 year instead of 1 month
Do not get free trial. They will charge you for one year instead of one month
Very good
I’m having a LOT of fun playing this honestly, like it’s such a high for me when I get a new high score or level up in a round. Though, I do have one complaint. I enjoy the mini game detail which is in regard to the writing skill. However, when I click on a misspelled word sometimes it doesn’t mark it as an error. Although I hope it improves I absolutely can work around it and this game is still worth it.
Your math is off
There are a couple math problems where you are way off. One dollar a week or even three dollars a week is not 300 something that's crazy. I'm not saying specific numbers because I should've written it down, but I did not but you have a couple that are just wrong! Also, if you're gonna give me a bonus question at the end, give me time to read the fricking thing! When you're doing a copy edit, it takes a minute. Otherwise, I like the games! Also, you said I didn't play yesterday when I know I did. I was really clear that I had to play this game and another game. Additionally I've been charged a freeze. I play d yesterday. The apps with these flipping freezes I don't get it. Maybe you're just trying to make money.
Problems
Sound keeps going - no support on app - followed instructions but no sound again today so cannot complete the training .
Adding new games?
This is a great app and I’ve been using it every day for the past 2 years, my streak just hit 600 days today. I am writing to see if there are any plans to add new games or new content to the existing games, because I’ve been doing them so much that I’ve memorized a lot of the content in most of the games, particularly memory and reading ones. It’s gotten to the point where a lot of the games don’t feel as challenging anymore. It also gets repetitive doing the same games over and over, especially if you’ve already done the same content within the game before. I think it would be great to add in some new games entirely to enhance the experience. Just a thought from an enjoyer of this app. Thank you :)
Ads for this app lie
I saw the ad for this app in another game, and decided to download it because the ad claimed it was completely free…which was untrue.
Okay
I think this game is alright, it’s a bit overpriced but still good to sharpen amd keep your mind healthy!!
Not free
That app seemed great at first, but then I realized if you don’t pay them you barely get to do anything. I downloaded this app at first because I saw an ad that this game/learning sight was free, since I can never find free apps I got so happy, so it made me very upset when I found out the is in fact not free.
Not useful if you regularly read books and newspapers
Not useful
Great app
Great brain training app. I use it daily, it has plenty of gaming options to keep you engaged.
No $$ cancel option
No way to cancel. Not in the app. Not in Apply Play. Elevate charges for variety of items + subscrip
Great overall but lacks novelty
I love Elevate and have been training daily for nearly 3 years. Which is a testament of its own to quality, but at the same time would love to see new, different games more regularly. The science is developing at a crazy speed lately and unfortunately the app is not catching up.
Allow manual skill level adjusting
The app requires starting at elementary school level questions. There is no way to manually adjust the skill levels. I paid money for the subscription. This was not the challenge I’d hoped for. Five minutes of very basic questions a day feels like a waste of time.
Not impressed by addition of adverts
Sorry to say how disappointed I am that you’ve now added adverts half way through a game making it a pain to have to get back to. As a consequence I’m really sorry to say that I am now deleting what was one of my favourite apps that I’ve been playing for many years
Incredible
Best educational game to play! Great for kids as well. Over 8 years old.
Stop charging my card
Stop charging my card I don’t have you guys app 😒
Almost perfect
Excellent. Having tried many apps for brain training, this one is the best combination of practicability and experience. The only complaint : it nullified my streak, even though I did my workout that day.
Expensive for no new games.
Elevate is useful but there needs to be more options to swap on the suggested games list each day. There is a word swap game that is awful and it’s timed too, I hate it! But it’s impossible to complete. Add new games and give us who pay for our subscription the option to choose fully what we do and don’t want to play. How are some people able to have achieved over 20 trophies in a timeframe that doesn’t seem possible??! Please removed the annoying fractions breakdown view. Make it a “ select” option. It’s so irritating to have it keep coming up when I don’t want it.
Good but with a catch
I don’t understand why you need to pay to do more than 3 levels a day… maybe ten a day then you have to pay, fine but 3??? But otherwise the actual levels are pretty good and train your brain
I’ve been using for almost 300 days it’s worth it, but does get old at this point
I have enjoyed and benefited from my time with elevate. The exercises are a great start to your day and make you feel sharper and more productive. Although I can’t prove anything, I do think a few exercises like this daily can do a little bit in terms of keeping your brain sharp. It beats social media that’s for sure. That said, after 300 days, the exercises are getting reallllyyy repetitive. I don’t think I will renew my subscription for this reason, but I don’t regret getting it.
(Credit card scam)After cancelled they continue charging my credit card
I had this app. I canceled my subscription and they charged me I had to contact them they refunded and 10 days after they charged me again!!
Meh
It is good but you can get bare minimum without paying which is annoying.
Pay to play
Good game that kinda does what it advertised, but to access 95% of the game, you need to subscribe and pay for it yearly. It makes the game a lot less fun to see all of these fun things hit only being able to play once a day because it’s a pay to play.
Very American
Edit- The measurement game has bugs and constantly gets stuck. Not English enough, Louisiana sandwich actually tipped me over the edge to write this review. Lots of Americanisms, please fix this.
Doing it for 9 years
Game is great. Bite sized ways to improve oneself
Subscription Only
Looked like an interesting app to play a quick game in my free time while exercising my brain a bit. Only to find out you have to put a card on file and sign up for a subscription to use this app under the guise of a 7-day free trial. I wish apps like this had more transparent advertising before I wasted my time downloading. And just so you know this isn't an AI review, it's 08/18/2026, Trump is president, stock market just announced they are going to a 24 hour trading cycle based on Crypto technology, and lastly, beep boop bop, i Am NoT a BoT! lol
Great
Great for my mind and it has me hooked with the streak although it keeps on telling me to rate it on the App Store
Not for brain
Although I paid for a one-year subscription in advance, I deleted the app after only 4 days. Unfortunately, I also do not believe there is any chance of getting a refund for the subscription. Several games would not open at all. Every time I tapped on certain games, the app crashed and closed completely. I had to reopen the app repeatedly, yet I still could not access some of the games. In addition, most of the activities are mainly based on English vocabulary and word skills. It may be useful for improving vocabulary, but I did not find it to be real brain training. Overall, the experience felt repetitive and boring.
American
I like the app but the spelling, pronunciation and reference is for Americans. Would be nice that there were uk settings. Won’t renew because this hampers my improvement on my own language.
Brain power tool
It’s great to help improve thinking on your feet, and learning new vocabulary. It’s been great for my brain when I use it regularly!!!
Deceptive
Another app with deceptive practices, hitting you with questionnaires and sign up before telling you there’s a monthly bill.
Fantastic
Best crosswords, fun puzzles and great games to train your skills and adapt new ones
Crashes when opening puzzle archives.
Good game though coin purchases aren’t worth it when the game crashes when you attempt to play. No other way to contact support within the game.
Not bad
It’s good but gets very repetitive
