Great app
Great app
Great games but terrible Pro update experience
Multiple attempts to upgrade to the Pro version resulted in multiple charges to my Apple account and no easy way to get help for this buggy app. Finally found a Help option buried here, waiting for response to my email. I cannot recommend this app until they fix this problem.
Word meanings
Whilst most of the games are excellent a few of the word games which demand knowledge of meaning are flawed. Especially the ones looking for similar meaning. Perhaps I am too precise but some of them are not at all similar

Too small fonts of in instructions. Bad training for my eyes. Not fun
Used to be great.
Used to play it all the time, even bought a paid version ages ago and absolutely loved it. Returned to it after a long time, eager to play, only to find that there’s ads now and you have to pay MORE to view stats. Absolutely massive L by the devs, very disappointed, from a one time purchase to subscription trap. Uninstalled and never looking back.

I love this app but I wish there was a way to add a comment on individual games.
Major Bugs
There were zero bigs in the two years I have had this, now that they forced an "update" to fix all the bugs that did not exist, it consistently crashes numerous times per one game. Makes me believe the update was for data mining and I will delete despite buying the app

I enjoy it but I hate subscriptions that are obviously designed to make the companies more money
Can’t complete assessment
I just got the app and im eager to get into using the app but i cant complete the third part of the assessment. After I press play, it does the countdown then goes to a blank background

At first, I thought I wasn’t gonna get the subscription but it turns out you can only play one game with it. So I got the subscription. And I found some games that I really really liked like the turtle one and some other ones then somehow when I click on it a week later. It’s not there. This made me really sad and the game is not that encouraging, but it’s a nice refresh from scrolling

Unbelievable amount of adds
I used to love this app competing with my husband but I’ve had enough of the amount of adds coming in now. I’ve got Revolut so why am I receiving 100’s of adds for it. I’m out of here Peak!

What a sham. I’ve been playing for years & now have to watch a video E V E R Y. T I M E. I want a play a game? Not for me. Update: Now- I’m not seeing an ad every time, but still wish I was offered 3 games instead of the new shortened daily - 2 games. I enjoy this app.

Terrible subscription plans
Good app, although I can't spend more than 3 minutes without having to buy a subscription. They don't offer a lifetime subscription either.
Great App, but Dark Mode Is Essential
I really enjoy this app, but not having dark mode is a significant accessibility issue. Many brain injury survivors use these types of games to keep their minds sharp, and overly bright screens can cause discomfort or deter us from using the app altogether. I would give it five stars with dark mode, but for now, it’s three.

Can’t even play 2 game without dealing with all these ads. Am I really getting an experience out of this game when most of the time is spent on watching ads? No thank you
Deleted my lifetime account
Reinstalled the app, only to find that they deleted my lifetime account for no reason. Support has not responded in days. Edit: It took a week, but my account was restored. Weird that it was deleted in the first place. The app itself is fine, but there are layers and layers of micro transactions. Paying for a membership doesn’t get you everything.
Too long and frequent ads
It is sad that the ads are so long and after each game. It renders the app unusable. I cannot spend more time watching ads than actually playing, it is just very frustrating.
Age rating
The only options for age is 13-17 years and more even though the app is 4+. Not happy.

How I start everyday
This is like my morning coffee - wakes up my brain
Great games BUT…
Way too expensive. You can play a set amount for free but WAY TOO MANY ADS and ads are waaay too long. There is a 30 second ad before you play, 30 more seconds before your score is displayed and more ads every time after that. There are way more ads now than before. So many that I exit the game after playing one short game. Let me buy the game for less than a year’s worth of Netflix or with less ads than cable and I would. Otherwise nope.
Good in parts
I’ve enjoyed many of the games but am very frustrated by the ones that score emotion. As a retired psychologist and counsellor, I might have expected to do reasonably well but the three games are all timed and depend on manual dexterity. The arthritis in my wrist and hands is a major impediment. Some of the games, eg in language, are not timed, and I have done well there. If you add some fairer ones for emotion, I may renew at year end.
Five Stars
Brain training or brain teasing? Either way it’s challenging and makes you think with the brain you were born with. I love the way the game challenges every aspect of being human - thought processes, emotions, problem solving etc. Some of the games I dislike and sometimes there are two of them in one challenge. My question is “why can’t we change more than one game in a challenge”?

This is not really a review but a help question
I really enjoy the game variety. I recently purchased an i phone 13 and added a Zagg screen protector. The Speed Spotting game does not respond to my touch like it did on my old 7, which also had a Zagg screen protector. I noticed this on other games too which require an exact touch. Please help.

If I pay for an app, I shouldn’t be tracked to the disgusting extent of this app. I don’t know who you’re selling our data to, but I’ll be finding a less intrusive brain game app, as you don’t need all of this data, especially with personal identifiers to optimize your app and so you must be selling it as it cost costs money to store data.

Used to be a decent app but the ads killed it. You have to watch a one minute ad even if you hit restart. It’s also hard to exit the ads.
Can’t advance
I’ve been playing Peak for quite a while now and the games seem stuck and I can’t advance to newer games or levels. Message saying I must score xxxx twice in a row in this game to move to next level which I have achieved repeatedly . Also, why are the most recent reviews from 8 years ago?

I am so sick of every “free trial” but we need you to commit to a purchase then cancel if you don’t like. That is not a trial, that is a return policy!

Incredibly restricted
99% of the content is locked behind a paywall. You may play three games a day (you can’t replay them either) and literally everything else makes you pay a subscription to use.

I reported a frequent glitch, and Peak requested a recording. There was no response.

Unethical manipulation, gambling and domestic violence ads
The games are fine. The ads are ludicrous. Brain training games by a professor from Cambridge and there are ads for gambling? Wow, talk about manipulating your audience and being unethical. Generally people who are seeking some sort of help want brain training. Putting them in the way of a flow of addictive gambling and scam money-making schemes, and misogyny along with domestic violence, is gross. Talk about greedy. Change your pay scale and plans to include more people, and actually serve the clientele you could help. Also, watching minute long videos between games is such a deterrent, I don’t know why anyone would keep this app. I get that you’re trying to push people to frustration so they will buy, but your games aren’t even good enough to entice for that price. There are plenty of free apps that offer similar games and a better experience.

Love the games and it helps a lot but I really wish this game was free.
More time seeing ads than playing games
The quality of the games is excellent, & very engaging. Unfortunately, the ads run longer than the game being played. The ads are also impossible to exit, at times I was forced to restart the app in order to continue without the ad. It’s enough to have me loose interest start looking for something else. The progress, tracking the quality of the games, and the overall out of the app in general, are very good I don’t mind the $40 annual fee for pro.
Not enough sample quizzes and not enough time
Not enough quiz time before purchase. And misleading advertising, waste of time if one cannot sample daily quizzes for more than 5 minutes
