Getting my strength back
What a spectacular way to rehab after spinal fusion surgery.! This is just awesome..thank you for developing this app!
Buyer Beware
This app worked very well for a while. However, after not using it for several weeks, I was asked to sign in. The app did not recognize my email address and I had to delete and reinstall the app. Although I was initially allowed to restore the numerous trails I had purchased, the app now is requiring me to repurchase trails I already paid for. Attempts to email the developers via the email address provided with the app have been deemed undeliverable. I have been ripped off without an opportunity to restore purchased trails. BUYER BEWARE!
Great but storage error
I love this app, it makes using the treadmill a viable option! My only issue is that when I try to buy and download more videos, it keeps coming up with an error message saying that there isn’t enough storage on the device even though there’s over 20gb of storage available. Would love a solution so that I can buy more trails!
Won’t Allow Me to download trails
It won’t allow me to download new trails. It says I don’t have enough storage space even though I have deleted all my purchased trails. I have restored my iPad but still not able to download.
Great
This is a great app. I would give it five stars if I had the option to listen to the narration and choose your music at the same time. Or just have silence on so I could be using music from another source.
Just what I was looking for
Video walking on trails, beaches, city streets, and the even steps upward. Video continues without regard to your pace, which I like because streaming doesn’t interrupt. Videos are high quality. Plenty to choose from. Buy a video once and you’re good forever - I.e. no monthly subscription! Yeah! Voice over actually bearable; or you can opt-out and play your own music. There are 30 minute or 60 minute videos. Whether your pace is walking or jogging, you feel like you’re going at the ps e of the video. Bonus meditation videos also!
No Access
Well i have tried just about everything to access my paid for download. I accept it didnt cost very much but… tried the help, contact: and that has some fatal error…
Responsive developer with great customer service
This developer provided a high quality professional response to my feedback within 24 hours. They advised there is already a simple option available (that I had missed!) for anyone who would like to remove narration and enjoy the sound of nature while walking. Thank you for the quick and professional response.
Cannot choose my own music
This app has nice videos, however it is clunky and doesn’t allow my to select my music on a tablet. Needs an update that allows me to turn off it’s terrible audio and listen to my music.
Sampler
Just did a sample but I liked it. I actually like the commentary by the narrator. Hopefully it stays as entertaining as this!!
Treadmill Trails
The quality of the videos is outstanding! The responsiveness of the management when there is a need for help is great. This is the kind of service provider that deserves special recognition!
Poor, Waste of money
I purchased several trails but if you don’t use the app for 30 days it’s logs you out and doesn’t recognise the email you logged in with. So you have to delete it, reinstall in and synchronise something to do with Apple. It’s hard work I don’t need when I use it.
Simple & scenic
I can’t fault the video quality nor scenery, plus the app is simple to use. I did experience some log in difficulty when I hadn’t used the app for more than 30d but the developer was quick to reset my details. If you don’t have WiFi or Bluetooth enabled exercise equipment, this is a good app to brighten up those treadmill or elliptical training sessions.
Too many technical issues
While I love the workouts, they keep removing from my downloads. Then I have to delete, download again, and then it happens again. Doesn’t seem to be a permanent fix for the problem, although I’ve contacted the developer and he is responsive. This problem keeps me from enjoying them. It’s too bad…
Okay
I bought 5 of the workouts. I hate having to download them every time I want to work out. Which takes a long time). They should stay in My Trails. I won’t buy another one for sure.
Human not hamster
I really liked this app! It is well paced for my treadmill walk and makes it much easier! I didn’t feel like a hamster on a wheel. I felt like a human being enjoying the beauty of the world in which we live! ♥️ I stopped using it because the trails were always changing. I like a full trail without interruption. But the developers helped me get back in after some months of not using and assure me there are “over 150 continuous trails.” —-I’m interested to buy access to them. —don’t know how to tell which ones these are.— I really, really like how the product is sold, too at one’s own pace, buying a new trail as one desires, to use as one can.
Used to love it
I loved this app on my old iPad. While my treadmill was put up for home renovations, I purchased a new iPad and am unable to access the trails I had purchased on the old iPad. I guess you’re supposed to sync this device with your App Store purchases and while I’m not usually tech challenged, I cannot figure out how or find instructions anywhere. If you never intend to change devices, this might work for you but right now, I’m very unhappy.
Great video but...
I am enjoying the various videos that’s for sure... BUT I have to add, the sound is off! Why? Whoever chose the wonky ‘music’ (noise really - it definitely does NOT fit the location) and the narrator (quite an irritating and intrusive voice) should rethink this app. It would be MUCH more enjoyable if the ‘tours’ had more information about the location which is very disappointing... and again, the voice of the narrator is quite irritating...
Getting fed-up
Myself and my wife really love the trails. Video and trails excellent but ..... after around 10 trails we just wish the tour guide would say something different and that the incessant beat would stop. I don’t want to listen to music either or walk in silence but I do so much want to hear the sounds of nature as I walk - what would be so wrong with hearing the surf at Big Sur or the forest bird song. The guide repeatedly talks about Forest Bathing - please offer the choice of natural sound and this would get the 5 stars or more from us and allow us to actually forest bathe! Thanks
Delightful!
I so love Treadmill Trails, every trail is beautiful to look at and I enjoy the little bits of commentary about the history, geology, ecology etc. Each trail ends in a lovely place where you can pause and enjoy the view; so calming and peaceful. Usually I use my treadmill, but it also is fine for rowing (especially Amsterdam) or cycling. This is the best!
Does the guy ever shut up?
I want to listen to the sounds of nature while walking on the beach and not to some irritating voice that never shuts up!
Frustrating
The idea is great, and nice videos. But for me it’s ruined by the fact that there is some guy constantly talking through out the video. And yes I know you get switch from talking to music, but personally I don’t want talking OR music, it would be nice just to hear the original sounds of nature from the videos. Without this option this app is of no interest to me personally.
Lots of room for improvement
I tried two different 30 minute trails and was not overly impressed. The video quality is mediocre, and the speed of the trail is very slow. I do this on a treadmill while running, and it’s very unimmersive when the trails progress painfully slowly. Another criticism is how often the scenery is filmed sideways, or focuses on walls/rock faces/tree trunks (!?). If I was to run like that on a trail I would be nosediving into the dirt more often than not. It is affordable, though, but I guess you get what you pay for in this case. It would feel realistic for a person who makes a habit of running drunkenly in a trail of molasses.
Impressive
Well thought out app! More hiking videos than I could count, some non-hiking for a cool down or relaxing few minutes, and some audio only downloads. It is worth downloading the app just to see the huge variety and preview whatever catches your eye. All videos have previews, and all are for low cost download, so you own them. For $5 I bought 3-30 minute and 1-60 minute video which will keep me very happy for quite a while. Thanks for this.
Disappointed
All videos are low quality and the beaches are all cloudy Who goes to the beach on a cloudy day?
My music won't play
What bummer that I can't play my own music but the trails are great
Great App, Great Customer Service
I love working out using this app. It takes me all over the world without leaving my living room. Due to updates I had an issue with my videos connecting to the app. I sent an email to the developer, and almost immediately I received a response with instructions on how to rectify the problem. Everything is back on track and all is well! Fast and friendly customer service all the way! I love this app and totally recommend it to anyone who enjoys looking at beautiful scenery while using their treadmill!
Misleading
None of the vids are 99c. They are as much as $2.50. That’s misleading.
A bit disappointing
The video is lovely. Too slow though for even fast walking. Too much time spent 'admiring the view', and not moving on. I quickly got bored. 2 stars for the video being pretty. No stars for it being for a treadmill. Think I wasted my 79p.
So Fun getting fit!
It’s been so much fun, and I can go my own pace at getting fit. Thank you!
Horrible music
Instead of the sounds of the trail (e.g., traffic, running water, nature, etc), the app uses generic Caribbean pop that no one could possibly enjoy.
Bored at home
This was exactly what I needed to go longer on the treadmill. Awesome! Can’t wait until tomorrow morning!
Non é gratis. Sconsigliata
É inutile pubblicizzare un'app senza specificare che qualsiasi percorso é a pagamento. Non ce n'è nemmeno uno di prova. Impossibile rendersi conto se i soldi spesi saranno spesi bene. Subito cancellata
Outstanding app, exactly what I wanted/needed
Love to walk outside, but winter in Michigan can make it not fun. Treadmill Trails was a game changer. I love these videos of all the amazing trail locations around the world. I can concentrate on the trail and the time flashes by. This actually made me start looking forward to getting my walk in every day. Thank you for this app. 10/10
