What people like
- Workouts keep you interested and motivated
- Developer listens to user feedback
- Tailored plans fit your fitness level
What they complain about
- Charges you even after cancelling
- No reminders or notifications at all
- Coach voice sounds very robotic
Amazing
This app is the answer to my prayers. I’ve been looking and trying many apps for treadmill. This blows all of them out of water. Highly recommended
Poor app
I had cancelled this and they are still trying to charge my card.
Suffer from depression & need the encouragement
I had zero reminders or notifications from this app. I even forgot I had it AND had paid for a subscription. I got the app because I strongly need the encouragement AND reminders to “get going!”. This app does NOT do that. I suffer from depression but once I know I have a tiny bit of support I may get moving. Other apps remind me to check in or communicate but Push Training does nothing of the sort for me. Push Training does not do Push Notifications 🙄
.
Looks like a decent app but why oh why do apps not tell you before you go through all the malarky of age weight etc that it’s a paid app. A seven day free trail isn’t long enough.
Exactly What I Needed to Start Running Again
I found Push Training on TikTok and figured I’d give it a shot. I’m a former 5K-er getting back into running after a loooong post-Covid break, and it’s been a surprisingly good fit! The workouts are beginner-friendly without putting me in the kiddie lane, and the pacing cues keep me from slacking off while also not feeling too overwhelmed. There’s also an Ask Push feature where you can pop in after a workout and say, “I just finished ___ workout. What do you recommend next?” It’s simple but super helpful when you don’t feel like thinking. I’d love to see versions for the elliptical and stair machine because this format would translate perfectly. Overall, it’s been an easy, no-drama way to get back into a running groove.
Meh
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a bystander during a bank heist and the robber is bossing you around, that’s the voice of the coach. It was really off putting and I had to turn it off. The app was alright after that but it just didn’t really do it for me.
Wow
I had low expectations for this app! But I’m blown away this is just what I needed. Its fun but just hard enough I feel empowered and exhausted but all in best way. If you need motivation and want a real push download it! I’m so glad I did.
Needs more variety
Pros: workouts are tailored to your fitness level, the price is right, you can see the workout breakdown ahead of time Cons: I couldn’t find a way to connect to Amazon music, trainer was very robotic, and workouts seem to be only interval/HIIT which is in the description but I need more variety
App
Great app so far
It’s better than the rest!
My first two experiences were great! I have used other treadmill /running/race training apps in the past, so my expectations were not to expect anything different from the rest! Boy, was I wrong….. I look forward to my sessions! Wish I started using it immediately after my friend shared it. So yes, the wheel can be reinvented after all!
Love this app
This app has completely transformed my running routine. It helps me plan my runs on a day to day basis and pushes me to stay consistent, which has made a great difference in my fitness journey.
Excellent
Just what I need.
10/10 recommend for runners at any fitness level!
Love running and want interesting treadmill workouts when you can’t run outside? This app is for you. Hate running but want a good cardio workout that is attainable and encouraging? This app is for you. What I love about Push is that it’s made for YOU. Every feature is tailored your needs, whether you are looking for a plan to help you run a half marathon, or if you’re simply looking to embark or continue your health and fitness journey. There’s a wide variety of treadmill interval workouts ranging from 15 minutes to an hour in length. Believe me, the hour-long ones are NOT boring and completely attainable for anyone! I 10/10 recommend this app regardless of how “good” you are at running. At the end of the day, it’s all about your personal journey. :-) you’ve got this!
Amazing
I randomly stumbled upon this app and this is exactly what I am looking for exercising on the treadmill. It has awesome intervals and tells me exactly what incline and speed I should be at. It allows me to push myself a lot more than I can on my own. Worth every penny.
Easily the best running app available
I’ve tried a slew of running apps, and this is hands down the best. The workouts are different and keep me interested, which is difficult when I’m slogging away on a treadmill. The music integrates well and the leaderboards are an effective motivator. The best thing about this app, however, is the developer. He really cares about the user experience and listens to feedback and incorporates feedback/features (when possible) into the app, which you don’t find much these days. Highly recommend this for any runner!
