Incredible tool!
Been using this app daily for five months and it is so helpful with tracking milestones and exercising to reach each one. I love being able to see what milestones he should reach next and the activities to succeed at reaching them.
Paid for Lifetime subscription
I paid for lifetime subscription a few years back. I log on to use it with my second baby and the videos are unavailable. I message customer service and their explanation is that my lifetime subscription is not available anymore. No offer to make it right or anything.
Great idea, technical problems
The app is great, the implementation of the app is straight forward and the activities and videos very helpful. However, there are some defects that make the app unusable. Any interaction of the user (completing activities, defining difficulty, checking milestones) cannot be saved. I would recommend the app to so many people if these issues where fixed :)
App needs update
Great activities. But the app becomes glitchy recently. When I try to tick or save the completed activities, it jumps back to the start and doesn’t save my activities. Can’t track my progress.
None of the videos work
Subscribed for the membership but none of the videos play for the different exercises, very disappointed.
Great resource
I’ve loved using and having BabySparks. It’s been a go-to for my now 4 and 2 YO’s - the monthly what to expect for the babies really helped me stay anchored. And the daily activities have been fun quick ways to spend a few minutes of undivided attention with each kiddo. This app is easy to use and helpful. I’m aging out now but glad to have had it - Thanks!
Not working anymore
Over the last month or so, the app has stopped working. It no longer saves anything I put in (measurements, milestones,etc)
Great app but needs tweaking
Love the app and all the daily exercises. Only had issues adding family members to my sons profile. It glitches everytime I try to add someone. Otherwise would highly recommend!!
Paid upgrade promo makes it stop working
The app is good but whenever they’re running a promo for the paid upgrade (which happens often) you can’t x out of that so you literally can’t even open the app at all if they happen to be pushing the paid version (and since that is often, the app is often not at all functional)
App keeps crashing
I was only able to log in to it once. Now I can’t get on. I’m glad I didn’t purchase the subscription. Will be uninstalling it.

Excellent daily content with insightful articles and videos for development of babies.
Forever Subscribed
I briefly used this app for my kids when they were babies. It was ok but I didn’t keep it. Years later, they send me emails and even though I haven’t had the app in years and repeatedly UNSUSCRIBE, they still send me multiple emails a week. My kids are in upper elementary grades

Me gusta la app porque así llevas un control de las actividades diarios que haces con tu bebé , lo único que no me gusta que utilizan el móvil para algunas activadas y lo veo contraproducente, por todo lo demás muy bien
Difficult to evaluate before subscribing
I’d really like to play around with this app for a bit before committing to a subscription. However the subscription banner comes up as soon as you open the app and won’t close, preventing you from trying anything. There is supposed to be limited free content available but I have hardly ever gotten to see it. I don’t think this was the developer’s intention and hope it is fixed. There is also no info that I can find to explain the difference between a basic and premium subscription. In the meantime, I’m using the free CDC milestone app.
Content doesn’t load
I like the activities and the articles. However, after using it for a couple of days the articles doesn’t load. Is that a bug? I will update my review once it’s fixed.
Great tool for parenting
It has been an outstanding resource for our family and the caregivers!!! Instructors are phenomenal!
Not usable
I used baby sparks for my first child and it was wonderful, about 4 years ago. For my second (now 7 months old), the app has been unusable. It won’t actually let me click into anything even though it’s the latest version and my iPhone is updated. It has been extremely disappointing this time around. I keep hoping it will work and I’ll have the activities and the milestones but I have been let down literally every time. If it works for you, it is amazing but otherwise don’t hold your breath.

Subscription Announcements
I’d love to use this app as it is intended, but I can rarely do so due to the inability to close the subscription advertisement that pops up as soon as you open it. No matter how many times I click the X to close out, I can’t get in! The only workaround I’ve found is when a banner message appears, I can’t click that and get into the checklists. As soon as I leave the app, however, I lose access again. I get that I could just pay for a subscription, but I can’t even sit through ads to get to the material..? Seems like it’s not intended to function this way.
Helpful but not needed
Didn’t understand when I purchased that virtually all videos and articles are for an extra cost. Found it helpful he first six months of baby’s life.
Great for new parents!
Ive had this app now for 8 years (with lifetime access) and love it! When I was a new mom, I wanted something that I could track growth and mental development from infancy to toddler and this app helped me coordinate “structured playtime” while tracking my baby’s growth and milestones along the way. It was a lifesaver, and I still use it to this day with my son’s new baby brother!
Not free AT ALL
I downloaded this app for free and was actually willing to upgrade at some point, but it won’t even open now because it just shows a sale ad that you cannot close out of. The app is useless unless you pay. Do t believe that’s there’s free content anymore.

lots of bugs
It’s great to follow developmental milestones, but if that’s if you can even access the app. i cannot get past the subscription screen, the x does not work. i’ll be looking for another app that won’t try and force you to pay, i loved the free trial but since its ended the app is unusable
You don’t get much for your money.
The daily activities are just repeating, even the ones we said are too easy and theres no way to opt out of some activities like ones eith bottles or pacifiers. I also dont like that even though we paid for the app we still dont get access to any recordings.
100% reconmended
My wife and I enjoyed the daily activities they show you. Sometimes you don’t know what else to play or do and this gives you more options.
Can’t log in
Can’t even log in because you can’t dismiss the initial ad pop up! How is that broken?
Finally got support
I forgot my password and can't reset it on the app unless I enter MY OLD PASSWORD. I emailed Baby Sparks more than two weeks ago and have had no reply. I've also paid for the subscription which shows you how much they care about supporting customers. I'll be pursuing a refund through the app store now. Awful service. Update : I finally got help with the app after emailing a second time and posting on Facebook. Enjoying using it again now it's working!
Liked it at first
Really wanted to like this app, but just wanted to use the free version. Suddenly I would open the app and a pop up would show prompting me to upgrade to a paid version for a discounted rate. I would repeatedly click the X to close out the pop up but it wouldn’t work. The only way to get rid of the screen and use the app was to subscribe. So I deleted the app.
Not bad some hiccups
The program for each day is an excellent way to keep track of progress. I don’t like the vitals page - the app consistently fails to save data e.g. baby weight and height on particular dates. I find this very annoying.

I really enjoy this app sometimes I just like it as an inspiration for different activities to mix it up so I don’t always have to come up with my own thing each day. I really enjoy the variety that this app offers as well.
Forced Trial of Paid Version
First day I tried to actually use the app, the popup for the free trial of the paid version wouldn’t go away. Hit the X numerous times, closed and reopened the app, tried on both WiFi and data and no luck. The app would not let me continue without trying the paid version even though 2 activities a day are supposed to be free. I also downloaded Pathways.org Development Tracker and they include activities free with no pop ups or fuss.
Great videos but very cringe to watch
Whilst the developmental practice of the app is great, nearly every video or picture of a mum with a child is white. It just looks at best really lazy and at worst culturally blind or deliberately done…
There shouldn’t even be a free version
I downloaded this and wanted to try out the free version before purchasing it because I already have so many paid subscriptions for baby apps. The ads on the free version are too overwhelming for me and there isn’t enough free content to make it worth it. The first time I opened it all 5 things on the daily program were locked behind a paywall so I couldn’t even get a sample of what I was going to be paying for. I can appreciate that the makers of the app have to make money somehow but it would be nice if there was a free trial even for just a day or two to see what it’s about and test it out before committing or just charging a flat rate for the app. These days I have major subscription fatigue and I’m tired of everything being a monthly rate (it adds up).

A great handy app to have but most of the good stuff are for paid customers. Nevertheless, it is still a good to have…

This has saved us when we run out of activities for our little one - not to mention they help so quickly with all the milestone skills! Well worth it.

Content good but app nearly unusable
Every time I get a notification about an article in my feed, I open the app, scroll through the feed to find it then just as I’m about to open it, the feed refreshes and takes me back to where it was the last time I was in there with the new content missing. It means I basically don’t use it anymore despite the content being very good, I don’t have the time or patience for rebooting / looking again (nor should I need to given I’m paying for the service)
Nice activities, poor access to other features
Unfortunately, although the app provides a good variety of activities, it needs improvement as there are too many issues with accessing classes or articles. It’s been months now since this is going on. This is disappointing as I have purchased the plan for 1 year and was hoping to be able to use it more.

Waste of money and incorrectly aged exercises
Sadly felt like a waste of money. Even if I selected “too hard” or “too easy” for the exercises it still gave the same ones. Plus it was asking me to do exercises well out of by baby’s developmental range (based on research) which started to make me concerned my baby wasn’t developing right. Personally, it’s better to just get some Montessori toys and do your own research.

Fantastic app for baby
Honestly a great app in planning for my newborns development. It makes tracking my child’s personal milestones so much easier and so much more fun! I love using this and watching my kid grow and grow. It’s awesome!
Can’t load videos
I’m using iPhone and I’ve tried everything including reinstalling the app. Still doesn’t work
Helpful development app
When I first had my child, I was unsure of what to do to help them during the day. This app provided simple activities that also aided in developing milestones.
BE CAREFUL
Subscription is automatically set for 1 year after 3-day trial period and it doesn’t seem possible to get a refund. A few interesting tricks are given but certainly not a year’s worth of learning. Fully regret downloading this app!
Can’t sync across devices
The concept of the app seems great but there’s no direction on how to sync the app across devices so both myself and my husband can login and tick off different activities. I can’t find any instructions online & their support team haven’t responded to our email asking
