What people like
- Songs are great for little kids
- Easy to use and navigate now
- Access your past class music anytime
What they complain about
- Keeps crashing and stopping randomly
- Forces you to log in constantly
- No search bar to find songs
- Won’t play on Bluetooth or TV
I enjoy this app
The app is easy to use. But the lyric of the song Ha Ha This Way in the Maracas collection is not showing up. The screen says “downloading”. Could someone fix it?
Keeps crashing / FIX YOUR APP!
The *working* App is good. But it keeps crashing after a few songs. I keep having to reopen the app. That's on latest ios/latest app (typically through Airplay). I reached out to support, got told to use the web version... As a paying subscriber who has gone for multiple subscriber, who goes above to try to HELP them, I really would appreciate their acknowledging existing issues instead of pretending they don't exist...
Forgets you frequently
It's great to have access to all the music together, classes and songs via this app, but it's annoying to have to login pretty much every day if I want to play the music. No other music app has this problem, it would be great if the credentials could be extended to more than one day.
Good.. Mostly
The app is great—when it works. Unfortunately, for months now it's been frequently stopping itself for no reason. I thought it'd be fixed by now, but apparently that's not a priority to the app devs. The constant stopping every 1-5 songs is really tiring. Might as well use spotify so you can actually have music playing without babysitting your phone
No more karaoke feature?!?
I whole heartedly endorse the Music Together program and having everything together in one place on theapp is nice. However, the awesome karaoke feature is gone. I loved specifically this feature in the old version, particularly how you could lower the voice so it still played softly in the background. I cannot understand why this popular feature which made listening to songs on the app a unique feature, is gone. To say I’m bummed is a huge understatement.
Welcome Songs
Collections are fun
Don’t know why this has such a high rating…
This app is unbearable to use with CarPlay, thus creating moments of frustration for adults and children alike. Speaking of frustration, good luck trying to share an account with your spouse. You’ll constantly have to log back in if they happened to have the app open last.
searching for music
it’s hard to find music! I wish there was a search bar! But overall it is nice to have easy access to all these songs from class
App Keeps Logging Out
This application would be great if it did not log me out constantly. When attempting to log back in, it states I have an incorrect password/username. When I follow directions to reset my password, it says my email doesn’t exist. Very frustrating.
completely broken on iOS 18.1
Please fix the app! None of the songs play anymore. I even downloaded all the songs and none of them will play.
Good music app
App is working very smoothly
Went downhill
The app used to work great. I use it everyday because my baby loves the music and listening to the songs are the only thing that will calm him down. Hence, I’m really disappointed with the recent release. The latest update has erased all of the music within my purchased collections. Oddly, the songs still show up in songs. Also, I’ll try to play a playlist, and it’ll start shuffling songs that aren’t in the playlist. Please address this.
Great but login needs work
Great app, just wish it didn’t ask you to log in so often or had a facial recognition option. Otherwise great!
Old app was better
For almost a year, I’ve used this app every morning to play the MT albums for my daughter when she wakes up. Never had a problem until the update. Now, I’m unable to play several of the albums and nothing I seem to do helps. Extremely frustrating.
The latest version doesn’t work with iOS 17.7
Please fix it!! I updated my iOS last night and music together app as well. But I can’t play any of the songs. It kept spinning and nothing happened. Please fix it! My daughter needs the lullabies before sleep
Love This App!
So easy to use and customize song lists for my little one’s favorite Music Together hits!
Horrible
I constantly have to resign in and force quit the app
Good app for playing music, but the storybooks are buggy
We’ve been using this app since we’re enrolling our kid to the Music Together Class. We’ve been enjoying the app to play the music, but the storybook is buggy. The app always stuck and could not play the song and book whenever we select it.
Crashes frequently
Love the app when it works well, but unfortunately that isn’t often. Haven’t been able to access the music for over a week as the app crashes constantly.
Please enable using saved passwords
Currently saved passwords don’t work at all. They don’t fill in. It’s very painful.
Great Music
The boys (2&5) love it, it has been super helpful in peaking their interest in music. We love to sing along in the car and in the music class; awesome educators and entertainers. Highly recommend
Library erased
The recent update erased my library and since the codes are single use only I’m out of luck. What a waste.
Cannot connect to Bluetooth
Silly and fun songs. Very engaging with rhythm, repetition and hand movement. Only downfall is it won’t connect to Bluetooth and my phone volume isn’t the greatest.
Some bugs are not be fixed yet
Cannot play hello song as the first song when opening the app. Sometimes the app cannot play songs when the screen is locked. Also, is it possible to create a function that can repeat one song, thank you
New app
I have been a music together family for 5 years. I am a heavy user of this app. It still has all the wonderful music and I like some of the new features. However I find the app doesn’t always work properly in the car. Also it doesn’t automatically restart after goodbye.
Long-term access
It’s been 4 years since we completed our last class, but I still have access to all the collections we participated in and paid for.
They deleted the best feature!
My family loves Music Together and we loved the app… when it had the ability to lower or mute vocals so we could improvise or do karaoke… when it had sheet music. 99% of the app’s value is gone. I could listen to the music as it was mixed by listening to the CDs.
Great app
The app is great and easily accessible to all the music together collections. I wish it were available through Sonos so I could play in my house other than just on my phone.
I cannot download notation now
In previous version I can download notation pdf file through instructions. This version notation can be only viewed in app in a small window, which is impractical to watch.
Love this app!
Easy way to get all the class content on the go! Great app, zero issues. The cultivated collections of this program are so intentional and great for little ears learning about music. Love the program and the app!
Constant login issues
I have to re login all the time and each time I have to reset my password. Love their classes. Hate the app.
Missing playlist functionality
This is a great app, and love seeing songs by classes. It would be nice if we could create a custom playlist to combine favorite songs from classes into one playlist.
Can I really not play on a speaker?
The app plays the songs but I can’t find a way to play the songs on any of my smart or Bluetooth speakers. I’d really rather not have my child glued to my phone. Am I missing something?
Cutest!!
It has the cutest songs for your littles!
Cannot re-add collections
I had the Hello Everybody app and had added a few of the collections, unfortunately now that the app is all new, none of my collections are there and I can’t add them again because I’ve already used the code. That’s really not fair, I’d like to play the music for my daughter in the car but I do not have a cd player.
Wish for a search feature!
The only thing this app lacks is a search feature for songs if I don’t remember which collection a song is in.
Our son ❤️❤️❤️
Our 2+ year old son absolutely loves Hello Everybody classes and playlists. Mom and Dad love them too. He’s cultivating a true love of music through this program. This has far exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
Great App
My baby love the songs
App is not working with Apple TV
This app was wonderful at first but now it doesn’t stream to my Apple TV. So we have to listen to it on my phone at home, which is a bummer. I’d rather listen to it on my stereo speakers. Please fix this.
Instrumental music function is gone!
While the new version greatly improved the music player, we no longer have the function of minimizing/shutting off the vocals in a song and turning it into the instrumental version. I was very impressed with this option in the old “Hello Everybody” app. Very sad that it’s not there.
Glitchy and uses data even when downloaded
Songs and great. Sometimes they refuse to play even though the words scroll at the bottom. I can’t use the app when out of the house even though I have it set to have the songs downloaded rather than streaming. The few times I tried it managed to blow through 300mB+ within a few minutes.
Love the app
My little one and I love being able to have the songs when we aren’t in class.
Great program, poor app.
We are huge fans of Music Together but the app is really poor. Even if it says we have downloaded a collection, it seems to require an internet connection to play and takes ages to load (sometimes not loading at all).
Thank you for the update!
Thank you for the long overdue update of the app! The UI is modern, relevant, brighter and easier to use. The UX is also much more pleasant and intuitive, the new player is great because it’s now aligned with that we experience in today’s app ecosystem. Oh! and the icon is so cute! A few notes to consider for the future: it would be nice to have a way to search for songs by name or have the songs tab organized alphabetically for all songs vs per album. But overall, great job! I know a lot goes behind the scenes for a long time to make this big release happen 👏
Love it but crushes
I love this app but since a few months it crushes all the time. What’s happening? Could you please provide help?
