Mappl Navigation Issue and deployed feature as reported by user in android and ios
Mappl has a major navigation issue reported by users. The deployed feature should work reliably on both Android and iOS. When users miss a turn, cross the planned route, or choose another road, Mappl should automatically detect the deviation and recalculate an alternative route from their current location. Instead, it keeps asking users to return to the previous route or takes too long to reroute, sometimes requiring a restart. This should be fixed as a high-priority issue. Always use google map as so many bugs in mappl
Navigation voice very bad like computer
Navigation voice is very bad please change this voice to like apples maps that’s very good even Google voice is not good but that’s okay Map my India voice is irritating. And please improve search engine sometimes it even does not show places
App just shuts down when I start navigation
Recently the app has been shutting down the moment I start navigation. Not sure of the reason but not able to use navigation because of this reason

It’s not working properly, not finding places, not useful
Unable to save type of fuel permanently.
Kindly provide option to save type fuel of vehicle in profile itself so the one should not have to update type of fuel every time when using direction to reach destination.
Not working properly
I want to use always Mappls but it doesn’t work in car-play and automatically stop working. I fed up of it. Sometimes it doesn’t show the way.
Accuracy and Working
Not working in Uttrakhand Hills Rishikesh to neelkanth area. Not showing conjunction in the road accurately in the map that person is facing jam . I am going to Shalimar city to Rishikesh map shows route Loni area that is very conjunction and at least 2 hours late I reach in my destination.

It is very useful and smooth. New futures here more than Google Maps.
Mapple update
My current location on the map has not been updated. I can still see the old map data, including open fields, even though several new residential ventures and hostels have been developed in the area. There is significant room for improvement in keeping the maps updated with the latest developments. If the map information continues to remain outdated, I may have to continue relying on Google Maps instead. I sincerely request the team to update the maps with the latest and accurate information.
Application crashing with Spotify
I do not video as such and i cant tell you when it will crash. Generally observed when spotify and map are working together then map will crash. This is not happening with any other music app.
App getting crash
The recent update is not satisfactory; the app crashes on iPhone and vehicle. Please look into this. We are using this app because we prefer an Indian app and do not want to switch to Google Maps.

Looks like something broke. It crashes every time I try to search a location. Tried removing and reinstalling, but with success

I pay for renewal and send the screenshot to costumer service 3 times and always they said your device will activate in 30 minutes but for 1 month still not working Costumer service sucks

I live far away from my family and sometimes I can’t call or reply to their messages on time, so it’s very important for them to know if I reached home safely or not. Mappls is excellent for Indian roads and navigation, but the live‑location‑sharing feature is still not as battery‑ and data‑friendly as I need for 24×7 tracking. If developers add a low‑battery / low‑internet live‑share mode with adjustable update intervals, it will be perfect for families like ours who are separated by long distances.
CarPlay and fuel issue
While searching a direction on the CarPlay, the app crashes. However, it works flawlessly if you select the direction on iPhone and let it navigate on CarPlay. The app is currently crashing and not opening on iPhone Unable to select fuel type. Its default petrol whereas I want to shift to diesel

Google maps doesn’t even come close to mapmyindia’s technology to make you reach the exact address!
Good but Outdated app
The UI is laggy in car play. The traffic situation update is poor. The app is missing key road updates even on major routes of Delhi NCR like side turns or speed cameras, not sure what do we expect from roads of villages or unexplored areas. I would love to use Indian app but please keep it simple and reliable, no need to make it over fancy, we want something we can trust in case of maps.

Why it defaults to 10kmpl for fuel cost? When I update it as per my car? It should be saved for my profile.
Improvement required
ETA vastly inaccurate may be due to low onboarding. It needs to be fixed to give proper guidance to user as well as acceptability of the app.

Outdated maps & Poor User Experience
The app needs significant improvement in terms of usability and map accuracy. • The user interface is not very intuitive and can be difficult to navigate compared to other mapping applications. • Many locations and points of interest appear to be outdated or missing, which affects the reliability of the app for navigation and discovery. • The satellite/hybrid map view is noticeably outdated. Several areas have undergone major development and infrastructure changes over the past few years, but the imagery still reflects conditions from 3-5 years ago. Regular updates to map data and satellite imagery would greatly improve the overall user experience and trust in the platform. This version is more likely to be taken seriously by the Mappls product team because it clearly explains the issues and their impact.
Accurate
Maps are accurate but the problem is it suddenly stops working in the middle of the road. When are you guys coming with offline map feature because your navimaps app is already dumped in the bin.
fix basic issues
1. if i want the alerts and sounds off on carplay, it means i don’t want to hear the sounds at all. 2. the night mode doesn’t mean the screen should be pitch black. it can be like a lesser shade of black or like grey colour. 3. switching to auto mode should mean that when i turn on the headlights the mode should turn dark. that’s all. keep going. good work.

Unnecessarily over engineered route selection
It took me to a path which google map doesn’t even show. It happened near lonavla. It took me through jungle route. I realised when I came halfway and there was no scope to return. Absolutely pathetic yar. Whoever is using this app please DO NOT TRUST BLINDLY ON THIS APP. even in mumbai it took me through internal lanes which was absolutely unnecessary. This journey gave me trauma for life. This app is solely responsible for suggesting unnecessary routes. Unfortunately google maps wasn’t working so I had to use this app. I really had tough time due to this app. Please please correct it guys. Humble request. Dont let it happen with anyone else.
Need major work on CarPlay system
Too glitchy after connecting to CarPlay, using Mappls to promote Indian bale and but need some development there Moreover certain routes suggested are suitable for cars, so I had google maps started simultaneously
Needs much improvement
It is not able to detect the location in my iPhone however location permissions is selected to always. Google map is working perfectly. Also compare the detailing and interface with google map and waze .
Feedback on Navigation Voice Guidance for Two‑Wheeler Riders
I regularly use Mappls for navigation while riding my two‑wheeler. The voice guidance is clear, but the volume feels normal and not loud enough to be heard easily in traffic or with helmet noise. It would be very helpful if Mappls could add a feature to make navigation prompts louder (similar to Google Maps’ “Louder” option), so riders don’t miss important turns or instructions, Thanks.
A badly designed app
It’s a task to renew the subscription as they will not allow you to pay via app but send you some link and after payment you will have to follow up with the company to activate as you are left with a dead tracker. Better to avoid this app!

The maps haven’t been updated for many months. It still shows buildings under construction, which have been completed 2 years ago.
