What people like
- Works perfectly without internet connection
- Better than old car built-in GPS

- Support never answers emails or messages
- Maps are outdated and missing roads
- Too expensive for what it offers
- Hard to use compared to free apps
Where the police
You should notify where the police are just like Waze
Horrible
Stay away, I put the app on my pixel, then when I got an apple phone the company said I had to rebuy everything because they can’t switch it to apple for free. Hey, here’s an idea, pay the licensing fee and you would probably double your sales instead of cheating the customer. If I could give zero stars I would, just use Google Maps, it’s free and 1000 times better and up to date. If the company cared, it would contact me but i wouldn’t hear anything from them. I should have saved my $100 and just used my free superior Google Maps. Stay away, stay away, stay away
Auto heads up
It’s too bad I can’t get the display to come up on the automobiles entertainment center.
Bike loading issues
I downloaded this app and paid for the European maps so I could upload it into my Can am spyder as per instructions. Couldn’t get the key symbol off the logo which I assume is blocking me seeing it on my dash. Emailed the creators of this app still no response.

China map
Would you please add the map of China main land please?
Great app so far
Enjoyed this app so far. Developers, Mexico is located in North America not Central.

5/1/2024. The latest update removed the google view of the destination. Please bring it back. 3/15/2022 I had a scary period using the app driving on I 10 west in Jacksonvile Fl headed towards I 295. When suddenly the app told me to make a left turn right in the middle of I-10 W. 3/9/2022 The highway sign posts are not legible. It shows what lane one should be in. But I cannot read the text on the sign posts. Maps are very detailed. To search for most nearby POI’s. A person must load the Foursquare app. If a user does not have an account. Then you must open the app. This process works. But is an inconvenience. This function should be built into the app. 4/19/2022 Athena maps are over 6 months old. Also , the lane guidance needs to worked on. As I said earlier. Cannot read text on sign post. No one at the company answers my support questions. Poor customer service.

Seems ok just got it ,if all goes wrong will let ya know 👍
BRP GPS App
Shouldn’t have to pay for this service sounds like American greed from Canada..
It’s in the wrong language
I downloaded and it’s in the wrong language
“Genius”
The free one is ok, not sure o would pay for it.

This looks like old google maps.
Cool and people say it’s bad but it’s good
Missing lakes
At the huge « lac Otis » is missing on map
Not user friendly
Too bulky. Not as easy to use as Apple Maps and Google maps and too expensive . AND, it doesn’t even recognize my work address
Freezing
Map keeps freezing, please update
Awesome!
Best app, Made my old jaguar, a smart car. Its better than jaguar’s inherent sat nav app from older models.
Newby GPS
The app crashes when used in the BRP Connect/BRP Go. Completely useless. I use Sygic now.
Updates.
Was going to comment on lack of updates, none for several months, when was lead to believe should be four updates a year, but just had one prior to this review, first for several months if not longer. Otherwise app appears to work well on iPhone and when phone connected to my Evoque, app works well on car display screen.
Genius maps
I downloaded this to work with my pioneer car stereo that has a mirror function so the maps show up and operate through my stereo. It's pretty good, everything works as it should except the navigation voice is way too fast almost like its been sped up , its so fast it's impossible to understand and when you're on the motorway the map pulls back so far that you can't see where you're going or where the next turn off is. If they can fix these bugs it would be an awesome tool for navigation but as it stands now it's not very practical for use through a pioneer head unit.
Another disappointment
Speed camera which has been in same place for 10 years or more is not shown. Did report this to the devs a couple of years ago and still not shown. TomTom, Waze and Sygic all show this camera. Could do with a few functions that others have eg report button to help add speed camera etc.. this is a premium product but unfortunately falls short. If one camera is not shown how many more aren’t!
Great gps app
Better than all my other apps.. thanks
Better map
Please update the maps view. It’s out dated and I rather not use it. Please update the look of the map
Not bad
Cannot give 5 star because it does not have a compass. Sometimes need to know the direction of travel. Hope you are listening.
Where is the speech feature???
Wish it had the speech feature so that I can enter an address using my voice. The price of a map is ludicrous!
Disappointing
Still no post code to find destinations for the Uk
Genius Maps Saved My Hike
I once got lost on a hike and the fact that GPS works in offline mode helped me get back on the right trail!
Moses
It’s take long ride but fast route it doesn’t give service
Good app but more features please
Would be great if it could get Siri compatible, but over all a handy app
Poor interaction- can’t get hardly any address . I feel cheated
Poor interaction- can’t get hardly any address to go to location of choice. I feel cheated out of my money spending for motorcycle that has gps display and I can’t enter location most of the time. Why not let us use phone to find location instead of clumsy motorcycle joystick. Also program doesn’t find addresses most of the time.
Not worth the money
Not very impressive. I expected more. George
Love it
So far I love this app the only thing I wished it would tell the route number when possible instead of telling the name of the street, so far that the only complaint I have.
Clunky at best
In order to hear the directions the volume needs to be at a level that when it’s not the music is blaring
Disappointed
My road which has existed for 5 years does not show. I apparently lived in a field! Apple and google maps have so this app needs to be updated.
Jaguar incontrol app connection
Sorry to say but the app is not connecting to Jaguar Incontrol
Map is ok but very hard to use.
In the modern age of simplicity this map app has lost its way. Maybe I need to take a week long seminar on how to use this easily. Trying to make the switch from Google or Apple Maps to this compares to moving backwards rather than forward. The information is accurate. The use is a far cry from easy.
Download maps
You can use this anywhere, places where you don’t get data connection.
Customer support won’t respond, doesn’t connect even after paying!!!
Bought a radio receiver for car solely to have the maps/navigation on screen. The radio comes with & is compatible for Genius Maps. I paid $24.99 for the maps package, and it won’t even open on the receiver screen. It keeps giving a basic error message. The support option through Genius Maps is email or FB only- AND NO ONE WILL EVER RESPOND. I’VE POLITELY CONTACTED MULTIPLE TIMES & HAVEN’T GOTTEN ONE RESPONSE!!!!
Good app but could be a little more stable.
Great app and works almost ok with Pioneer App radio. ( which is crap at the best of times ) This is actually a fairly decent day nav. Some of the menu functions could be a little more intuitive and nav tech maps could use an update, still on Sept 2017 as the most recent update, not too bad I guess. I sometimes find that if I’ve not used this app in a while and go back to it, I end up having to re install certain features and restore / re download from the App Store again. ?? Otherwise it’s pretty cool 👍
Good on latest roads poor on closures
Head to head comparson with inTouch in 2018 Jag FPace 20d with latest SD update: beats the SD with respect to latest roads but fails to show long-standing road closures. Would give it 4-5 stars if it could perform the latter.

Mireo support not responsive
Sent few emails to Mireo support team, they never responded back. I paid for both, US and US WebLink maps, it does not work with my Pioneer DMH-T450EX which has Genius Maps link on it.
So close
Really like this app and way better than the native Range Rover sat nav. Only issues I have (and these could be due to the Incontrol app rather than this one) are 1. No way to control the spoken command volume. 2. When used with Incontrol, sound does not work when listening to the radio. 3. No way to receive a telephone call when using Incontrol and keep the map displayed.
Not quite what I expected
It is a nice app, but not ready out of the box. Had to purchase Navteq navigation for guidance, and pony up another purchase to connect to CarPlay/AppRadio. If I had known this up front I wouldn’t have given this a look.
Bewildering genius
I cannot fathom how everything works. If your instructions were in plain English it would help.
