Great, but...
Stop asking to “fire up the iPod” please. Shouldn’t need to hit multiple buttons to make a timer work.
Having a melt down
After 1115 days of cold showers the app glitched so I signed out. I now can’t get back into it as it keeps giving me an error message. I’ve never stuck to anything for this long & have really felt the benefit. I’ll be disappointed to have to stop, or to lose my spot in the stats/scoreboard. It’s glitched a few times but I’ve always managed to log out & then log back in to overcome it. So frustrating.
Simple app
Wish it would make a noise when my timer was up and connect to my Spotify. Could use some extra features but great for keeping track of your showers and taking notes
Needs a Spotify option!
Love the app. I think this is great for keeping track of streaks but if you could somehow make it possibly to link my Spotify account that would make this app even better! Recent data has shown that there are more Spotify accounts than Apple Music so hopefully that’s enough for you guys to try it out!
Can’t make an account
I tried to make an account and it was impossible saying it was it the wrong format.
Buggy
Cold showers have literally changed my life, I love the idea and this app is great. I have had several issues with showers not logging for some reason and even lost my streak because I didn’t notice until the next day. Also I normally do two a day, it would be nice if there were a separate stat for total showers taken, not just number of days.
Broken
App is broken and no longer works for 2022.
Cold Shower 4ever
Love the cold shower. Just had one right now at 11:22 pm EST. so hooked. Will sleep like a baby. The app some how messed up my streak. I have not missed since Nov. 3 but has me missing two Sunday's. Now Way! Going for a whole year. Anyway love it and the app is useful as a motivator as long you are not obsessed with the leader boards.

Good Basic Straightforward
The improvements I would recommend would be to be able to shut off the music offer each time, be able to record total number of showers as well as streak of continual days, adjust the prep time beyond 5 seconds, increase volume alarm as a shower is loud and the device is outside the stall. Cold showers are transformational, so the app is very much worth it. It just has a little ways to go to be perfect.
Stopped logging my showers
I was so excited to start January 1, 2022 on a mission to beat last years number of showers. I am a visual person and love being able to “see” my progress. I’ve taken the cold shower challenge every day since the 1st using the timer and not one single shower shows as logged. I currently show zero cold showers. Very disappointed
Does a good job, needs an Apple Watch app
It does a good basic job of tracking cold showers, but it would help if there were an Apple Watch app so that one could check the timer while in the shower.
Tell people and they think you're cray cray
I tell people I take ice cold showers and they think I'm nuts....I love it!!! This app is simple and that's what makes it so great.
Seems like the app has crashed
The app stopped working for me. I was up to 987 cold showers last week when my total was reduced to 9 under “most total” and 1 under “all time”. The data in the current streak column has completely disappeared. Under “Your Stats”, Current Streak, Longest Streak and Total CST’s, each shows 18446 days. I noticed that the stats for the other people have not changed since the day that this happened, so it’s not just happening to me. I sent an email to the contact email address asking if the app is no longer being supported, and have not yet received a response. Keeping track of my cold showers on my own now. I understand that with technology, glitches can happen, but what disappoints me most is the lack of a response.
Cold Day in H2O
It inspires me to do something I wouldn't otherwise do, which is very good. It always asks me about playing music which isn't important to me. Would shut that off in settings, if I could. The second day of my current streak I did try to do it, but wasn't up to it and used some warm water. Would delete that one if I could. The five seconds I get to start the shower isn't enough, I probably need about ten. But it's not a big deal because I'll go over at the end. Intermediate chimes, bells or other audio indications as to how the time is progressing and/or a countdown at the end are possible thoughts.
Won’t let me sign in
Worked great for a while but now it won’t let me sign in. It keeps saying “invalid login parameters”. I tried changing the password but the error doesn’t change. When I click on “sign in with Facebook” it denies me access and when I try to make a new account it says I already made one with my current email. When the app worked it was great but now I can’t even use it.
Simple app, falls short in some ways
I like the interface and simplicity. It does what it's meant to do and not much more. One major problem is that downloading a new iOS update will delete your shower history. Also, they could have added at least a little praise to encourage you to tough out the icy five minutes. It doesn't even say "good job" or anything. So if these two areas are fixed, I will not hesitate to give five stars. It's a great therapy, but this app is disappointing.

Solid App For Cold Showers
I've used this app consistently for about a month now and it works pretty good. One thing that could've improved is the streak counter. Even though I take a shower every day, the app will reset my streak randomly after a 4-5 day streak. Aside from that one issue, it's an solid app.
Could be really good
Doesn’t record anything under 5 minutes.... pointless app, especially when you’re just starting. Can’t do 5 seconds like alone 5 bloody minutes of cold shower hell!
Music Option
Love it! Wish there was an option to get rid of the "fire up the music?" Alert as I never use it. But keep up the good work!
Half the features don’t work
Half the time the music doesn’t play and doesn’t keep a counter going. Just says I have a streak of one shower
Generally pretty good
I like app. I find the ability to keep statistics and measure oneself against what others are doing to be quite helpful. When you have a record of what you've done it is easy to keep going. And the timer, too, is quite helpful. Two things could be improved: 1. The whistle at the beginning of the challenge is obnoxious and too long. And generally whistles are used to stop play rather than start it. How about a starting buzzer or gunshot sound like at a track meet or horse race? 2. There is no way to edit your actual starting date. I started the day before I discovered the app. Would be nice to keep an accurate tally instead of the app plus one. Otherwise it is a good and helpful app. One that I continue to use every day.
Deleting app after latest update
Was a nice way to get motivated and keep cold showering every day. New update of app requires re-login. I did not save my password and there's no way to reset it. I could create a new account, but would have to start from 0 showers. Only reason I kept this app was for the shower log. Too bad :'(
New App Is Great
Cold Showers Everyday. This update fixed a bunch of errors popping up. Happy to have them fixed & keep my CST streak going.
Like but ....
I start cold showers with this app great . Then did not records some of my showers restart at zero three times and then update again and nothing . New update no music so far so good but not being able to recover my previous showers . Well others than it's ok. It did it again lost my records and have me use the .99 multiple time to keep my score .App is very unstable I would not recommend it although I would recommend the cold shower ideas challenge for sure too bad it's not reliable

Solid simple app that supports you in challenging yourself. It doesn't overwhelm your choice, which is part of the point. It is ultimately up to you.
Needs work
I like the features, but it wouldn't register my shower on the calendar, and, the add past shower feature doesn't work, saying "something went wrong", even does this after reinstalling. Tried to use contact feature, but says my email isn't registered even though I logged in with it. I like the app and features and will go into those on an other review if these issues get fixed.
Controlling Your Mind
This is a simple elegantly designed app that helps you to take cold showers. But once you start taking cold showers for 5 minutes a day you will learn so much more about yourself and your inner doubts. Today is my 5th day of taking cold showers and I have already learned so much about myself and how to control my brain. Thanks for making this app and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to figure out to become comfortable with being uncomfortable so you can achieve your goals, reap some pretty nice health benefits, and help save the planet by using less energy and water.
Wanted to like this, but it is impossible
2 major killers for this app, and one minor one. I wanted to love this app, as the Impossible blog is pretty cool. Unfortunately, I can't do a streak easily because one of the big issues for us is minimizing water consumption. I take showers every other day, and cold each time, but I end up having a streak of 1 so most of the time I don't bother turning on the app. Then, twice, it has reset my streak to 1. The latest, I should have had 6. I took a shower at 7am on day 5, and day 6 was a hectic morning. But, since I had the streak going, I took one at about 9pm before bed, so that it would keep going. And it showed 1. The calendar: 6. I deleted the app, and only put it back on the phone to write review. Not worth the effort for what could be a fun app. I can use the timer on my phone for this. Make it so you can note the off days and fix the resetting issue that others have noted and I will be back. Also, if I don't have an iTunes library, why ask me if I want music each time?
Cool app
It's a good app. Needs a manual add option though. Had one week of cold showers before I knew this app existed. Plus, bringing my iPhone with me is NOT something I think of before jumping in the shower.
App forgot first shower
I really like the idea for the app and how it was realized. One big doneside though: Yesterday I took my first cold shower and today the app had forgotten about it. Very demotivating for the start 😞
User Friendly and Effective
It serves its function almost flawlessly and manages to keep me motivated. Every time I turn the knob to hot, I remember this app and instantly remember that I need to challenge myself. The only minor problem I have is that I wish there was a "never show this message again" button when it asks if you want music. Nonetheless, I couldn't possibly complain; the app is great.
Black screen on opening
Would love to use, but I just get a black screen. Tried updating (from 9.2.1 to 9.3) but it isn't working :(
Love it!
Simple app to track my cold showers. Works exactly as it says it does, including sharing stats with others. I'd love to have an option for the rare days I don't shower. I feel like that's not breaking my streak, especially for those of us trying to conserve water. Love it as a motivation tool! Thanks!

Great app, still some issues
I love the improvements on the app - scoreboards and the new view. At first I was happy to see that you fixed the issue of not being able to see the total number of showers on iphone 4s. Until I realized that the total I am now seeing is wrong, off by 10 from what I've counted on the calendar several times.
WHY THE F IS IT SO LOUD
I refuse to go into setting to lower volume everyone just because you can't code properly and make this app use the proper volume. Atrocious programming. Pass
