Village Mall
Is shop here even though it is on the opposite side of the city. I find the staff super helpful with questions and most times they take me the correct isle. They walk at a pace that is comfortable for me with my walker. They smile are happy and I appreciate the help. I am in my 80’s and their care and help makes my shopping a pleasure not a chore.
Absolutely Horrible
Absolutely horrible app.. have been trying to get set up for 20mins. Painful painful …
Red Flags - constant Updates
Hope this is the last time I have to go in and update Sobeys app???
Useless Update
Again, another app that fails once an update is done. Suddenly now, I can’t get into the NHL game. Both this and the Safeway app go to a Scene “add card” page that does nothing. My number appears, but can’t escape this page to do anything.
Is now working
Update: deleting and reloading eventually solved the issues, thanks! Previously: wrote Every time I login it tells me it has sent me a verification code however, not only do I not receive a code, no keyboard pops up for me to enter it … it’s a page with two lines at the top. “Please enter the verification code we sent you” - Nowhere to enter it, even if it was sent - Despite updating deleting re-downloading and resetting the password.
What fun features!!
Okay but the Sobeys app update is actually so fun now 😭✨ Doing challenges and the spin the wheel thing?? I am like low key obsessed right now. It literally makes the app feel like a game and grocery shopping a little fun, love it!!
Needs improvement
The Sobeys app has got to be the worst functioning grocery app there is. It’s not reliable. For months I’ve been using the grocery list feature and now for whatever reason that part of the app isn’t working. Frustrating.
👍🏻
I like this new app. The search finally gives the product results and I can easily find out what is on sale. Thank you for adding the shopping list back to the flyer.
Won’t open
Just did the update and now it doesn’t open
Uses same credentials as 360 Health
If someone in your household uses this app for shopping and another uses 360 Health for prescriptions, you both have to use the same login and password. Not ideal. Found out the hard as each family member kept resetting “their” password, which prevented the other logging in, which seemed like a bug in the app to the other person. Who would then initiate another password reset.
Great App
Easy to use and see offers
Has stopped loading anything
It’s not loading anything, won’t load flyer, after years of using it it now keeps telling me to link my scene card… that’s already there. Useless, can’t even look at the flyer.
Good Update
App works well now and I can create a shopping list from the flyer.
Update to app
Since the app was updated the changes no longer make it easy to create shopping list and you can no longer just click on the flyer to add to list. Additionally lots of items can get duplicated. It’s nice there are categories however many items do not end up in the right category
Getting better
Some improvements would make this app better, for example checking off items from your list as you shop today but unchecking regular items later for next shop. It’s working much better than when the big change came though.
Very Helpful
Great app for offers
Can’t connect scene card
I connected it in the past. But not now. This thing is broken. It wastes my time.
Good content, but poor performance
App keeps crashing, even after uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Always sending reports after each and every crash, but no avail. Please rid the app of its bugs.
Product search is helpful
The product search works really well and makes it easy for me to find the right products.
Exactly what I needed!
This app has truly made my life so much easier! The interface is clean and simple so finding what I need has been quick and stress free. Meal planning for me and the family has also become much easier with this. Highly recommend!
Constantly having to sign in
Given I have Scene card/Visa and the Foodland and Sobeys apps I am constantly being forced to sign in and often the apps don’t recognize my password. Now with Shell signing onboard with Scene I think this will only get worse. How can it be so hard to link everything!
Personalized Savings
Seeing offers tailored to my shopping habits is such a time-saver. I never knew grocery shopping could be this convenient!
Unable to view offers
When viewing the offers, the offer on the right hand is cut off and unable to view. In addition, unable to scroll right to view the offer or make all offers show on the screen. Spin to win as indicated in what’s new is not available. Total scam.
Smooth Experience Every Time
Every time I’ve used the app, it’s worked seamlessly. It’s great for checking offers and has never let me down!
Barry
Misinformation on their flyer on app not accurate and misleading information
Inspirational Flavor Ideas
I’ve discovered so many new recipes that my family loves. I love how the app opens up possibilities for new meals I wouldn’t have thought to try!
Terrible
Can’t login. Just spins. Guess I’ll keep using the browser.
Saves Time and Energy
Being able to find products in my local store before I go is priceless. It cuts down on wandering through aisles and saves me a lot of energy.
Useless
Tried to login in, but all I get is a blank screen
Great Update to App
Love the new app. Easy to use and navigate. Lots of great extra content!
Wrong location
The only province it shows is Alberta. I am in Ontario. Very frustrating.
