Not my cup of tea.
I love rpg games and usually am a good fan. I didn’t like the story telling that much it was bland even for AI,But when I seen you can buy weapons and stuff in the store for your character I knew this was a joke of a game.

Cool idea
Love this idea the stories are super cool, the characters that are premade are cool, don’t get me wrong I like this app, HOWEVER the paywall to do anything custom or to get energy is insane, also love the arena, again however being able to just do 1 run then having to wait half an hour just to be able to play it again is pretty rough seeing how it’s not just for the one character you just used but for any characters you play with, I’d love to be able to give this 5 stars but due to the complaints I’ve put in this review I can’t recommend this app to anyone without an update fixing them in some way. Has potential
I was enjoying the game I even found myself paying for some energy . However upon changing campaign I noticed my merchant equipment vanished that I spent hours grinding gold to afford. They no longer show in the sell tab of the merchant or in the arena . Shame really all that effort lost. The game has serious potential, if energy was more available through other sources , guild and pvp and perhaps events with unique rewards , etc . Unfortunately I won’t be playing again until item bug is fixed .
Great way to solo play
On the road a lot and I’ve always wanted to learn DnD. Wow, just having a fun time. If you play for free, you have to be patient and the power bolts charge. It’s like reading a book, wondering what happens to you next. Thank you so much for creating this app.

Benefit to cost problems
Update several months later: I commend the devs here, whether or not they listened to me directly lol, or it was such a common complaint, the energy issue has been fairly… balanced I’ll say. I have not had the pleasure of the free time to explore another story, and the one I had started somehow got locked out. I don’t know what happened, but I know there will be growing pains. The energy issue was the main problem, and I think it is far far more reasonable now. Upped to four stars, and I will re rate when I’ve saved energy and played through a story or two. Truly, thank you for listening to us in general about the energy issues. I look forward to further play when I have the time in RL So started playing, really interesting concept, enjoyed it. Then we get to the energy usage…. I went through 20 in about 10 minutes. You can get 3 free per day, and as far as I can figure, that is it. The buy packages are ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. No ads to earn time no nada. I’ll watch videos for extra energy or rewards. That isn’t a problem, devs have to make money, and I fully get that. Or you have a decent amount per day starting and those that want to really get into it buy more/deal with ads but y’all are wanting complete game prices for rather limited amounts of interaction. Maybe this actually works for y’all, or a handful of whales clears your business model. But this is just using limited AI and random probability generators to create a story. It’ll only last until the next group creates a more competitive model… maybe a few weeks with basically an identical setup. And people will probably delete this app qnd go to the new one. TLDR here, don’t shoot y’all selves being greedy. Maybe I’m wrong, but don’t think this is going to work out well for y’all. You can make a ton of money running energy for adds and having enough to keep customers hooked. Some people will pay for more, but if you stay low and competitive they’ll hang around. Myself I enjoyed the initial setup, but the only reason I’m not deleting the app right now is I’m genuinely curious to see whether or not y’all change your model before the next two dozen clones follow up and wipe you out. I really hope y’all go in that direction, but y’all are injecting ultra luxury nonsense prices into an economy that is suffering terribly. To short stop a game that has a ton of single player varients overthe past forty years, or people gather and play for social reasons. Genuinely curious what’ll happen next but I hope y’all consider this. Maybe I’m wrong and I’m the old guy thumping his cane, but a lot of the overpriced highly limited games which have vaguely similar models tanked. Course your overhead is incredibly low, so maybe that’s fine. Anyways nice idea, hope it gets a smidge more reasonable
A game that shouldn’t have energy limits
The game itself is very fun but they could change it from a 2 star game to a 4 star game by allowing you to choose your own image for your character from your photo gallery, eliminating the energy requirements for story progression and better explaining the arena mechanics. Overall its a pretty fun game but this is only a baby step towards what AI powered D&D apps could potentially be in the future. I’ll give it credit for its soundtrack, sfx and lite-app nature. It runs great, doesn’t drain your battery and has nice atmosphere and graphics. The class kits well accent characters that you devise (at least for me it did) and the game definitely has potential. Here’s hoping the devs loosen their grip on in-app purchases tor energy and start catering towards the crown of D&D solo players with purchases that feel more meaningful and with a sense of belonging for what the app actually accomplishes. 2/5 stars, could be higher if the game gets overhauled.

Hello! I am not just reviewing the game here but also the devs and customer support after have several discussions with them. The game is amazing! I like it. The AI and build your own character is fantastic fun! I noticed a couple things and brought it up to customer support and devs - they are so kind and professional. They are working on fixing a bug and then discussed other concerns with me that resolved my way of interpreting them. If you like DnD or any fantasy game, definitely check this one out! Have fun with the AI and use your imagination…it will make the game so much more fun!
Kids game
Very restrictive. Good game to let your kids play. Entirely restricts adult content. Lame, Deleted, There are better AI out there. Check out Everweave
Very fun but…
This is exactly the kind of thing I’ve been looking for. Create your own characters, create your own adventures even, and have an AI run the game world. Multiplayer is great too (just need to wait for that functionality to be available on the website. Some of my friends can’t get the mobile version.). I have only a few nitpicks. - you’re forced to generate an image for your characters. I’d rather import an image that portrays my characters exactly as I envisioned them. - You can’t go back and edit a choice after the AI storyteller has responded to it. It’s very awkward when the characters react to your bad grammar. - There’s no search function for adventures. Ideally, you’d input the title of an adventure that a friend or someone else has made, and a list of search results would come up, hopefully including the one you want to play. Instead, you only have what seems to be just the most frequently played adventures to choose from. - The energy system is… disappointing. I fully understand that implementing AIs is expensive, but buying energy in a shop is one of the worst microtransactions you can get in a mobile game. Wouldn’t a better system be you can play for free, but only for a specific amount of choices per day until that AI model is locked unless you buy a monthly subscription? All in all, I’m happy with the game, I’m enjoying my time in it, and there’s only a few things that could be better about it. I’m glad this is getting frequent updates!
Needs work there are a lot of issues
The concept of the game is good, but the AI handling checks and failures needs a lot of work. The first problem is how wildly the AI swings when deciding what type of check should apply. I tried to deceive a guard and it used mental stats instead of social. In another situation, I tried to look for a path to the second floor and it used a physical check instead of something mental or perception-based. The logic behind these decisions often makes no sense. The consequences for failing checks can also be ridiculously extreme. While looking for information around town, I was suddenly ambushed in an alley, knocked unconscious, thrown into prison, and had equipment I had just acquired taken away. There was no combat, no opportunity to react, and no way to influence what happened. I also failed a physical check while trying to cross a gap, which is completely fair. What wasn’t fair was the game deciding that I also somehow lost my map in the process. The map was inside my bag. How does failing a jump suddenly make an item disappear? I have no problem with failed checks creating setbacks. That’s part of the game. The problem is when failures constantly result in exaggerated or completely unrelated punishments like breaking or losing items, while the game is also frequently applying the wrong checks in the first place. There is a good concept here, but the execution isn’t consistent enough yet. Instead of making failure interesting, the current system often just makes it frustrating and kills the desire to keep playing.
Good but not great
The first couple photos for the preview of the app are misleading as non of that is in the current version. I will say the people complaining about energy clearly have too much time on their hands. The daily energy can be really good if you actually do stuff in your real life. My biggest complaint is every story starts the same. It kinda defeats the purpose of using the same character across multiple adventures.

Pay to play
I don’t like that you have to actually pay actual money to continue to play the game. Yeah you can do the arena as much as you want, but that doesn’t let you do any stories. You can’t buy any more energy to play the game. You can only do the daily thing so you can only do like maybe 10 turns before you’re done for the day
Decent but has its issues
Its decent but the issue i encountered was that as you level up your dice roll for basic tasks continue to go up as you level up, so the levels and attributes are just there to look nice and dont give much advantage, merchants in the main story are non existent when you buy items you have to start a new story to use them, besides that the mechanics are decent but i would like for a visual map since sometimes the AI can forget geography
It’s good, just not quite there yet.
You really can do anything within reason. As long as you can explain it with enough detail you’ll mostly succeed any action, but it won’t matter because the ai will gaslight you. Like if you kill a character important to the story. Say chop off their head, and use it as a magical conduit till it turns to ash. Only to find out later that they are alive and unafraid of you. And when you question it. The ai plays it out by saying you’re confused and your memory of the past is cloudy. You can even build a rebel army, but if the city they are in is a plot point. They will mysteriously disappear. Oh yeah and you can wear as much regular clothes as you want but the moment you enchant them the weight or magic density is too much for more than one item to be equipped. And the ai won’t tell you which so they have a plausible excuse to keep you underpowered. And killing people is not like a video game. It’s more like real life. There is a more desperate struggle. Don’t joke about killing your self either otherwise you will go down a rabbit hole trying to find a plausible reason you don’t actually die. The whole time rolling against a dc of 26-28. You can spend lots of time doing side quests like building a golem. But the moment you boot up the main quest again if you side quests isn’t built into the main quest it’s just abandoned. And you get gaslit again that your memory is cloudy. Then I like how after coming back after a day it forgets your last action giving you time to replay your last action with a days worth of thoughts on how you make this better. The arena is a joke though. Like who spends 20 action points to revive yourself after a failed dungeon run. Daily points are about 12 points. And your character doesn’t gain anything for the story by doing arena. It feels like it does nothing. The action points are expensive too so much so that it makes me think maybe ai is expensive to maintain. Hopefully with enough money they can make it a 5 star experience.
W Game, L energy system.
Would like a way to earn energy other than a daily that only gives 10 energy or pay with gold. Cuts down on grinding time and playability for me.
Favorite App This Year
I don’t often write reviews, but have been wanting an option to play through a DnD story solo for sometime. Every time I try with friends, something comes up in someone’s life and the campaign never reaches the end. While I know this app is still under development, it has done a great job of capturing the storytelling aspect of DnD and letting you push past conventional gaming boundaries. Most importantly for me, when I have found anything incorrect and put in a work ticket (3 times since I started playing), the dev has been responsive, friendly, honest, and helpful. Understanding this is a newer app in the making, I am glad to support a developer that cares about the community and making a quality game. I am excited to discover how far this app can go.
DONT DOWNLOAD
It’s pay to play every 1 “action” costs energy and by the time the story’s just getting good you’ll have run out (only thing I like is the arena) and the daily gifts give hardly enough for us F2P players
Story is great and atmospheric but
But the fact that the energy runs out that fast in VERY little conversation makes me NOT want to play it and go play with an actual AI instead. I’ll try it again in the future when things improve .
Character creation
The character creation is limited and kinda sucks. When I first loaded I was able to create my own character. But didn’t like the story/back story. So I deleted it under the assumption that I could create another one. But you’re only able to create your own character/backstory if you pay for it. I feel like you should be able to create 1 customer character without it being locked behind a paywall.
Gameplay
Everything was going good, until I realized talking to someone requires energy. And there isn’t a way to get more energy! Unless you pay for it wtf. I just started and the first interaction, I had to stop playing because I ran out of energy.

Very good AD&D play
Inconsistent storytelling & laughably expensive
I've used these types of programs before, ones specifically designed for D&D-style play, but this one is easily the worst at storytelling. The ability to earn free energy every day is unique, but the paid energy is outrageously expensive for the quality of the product that is being delivered. Surprise surprise, saw that they were using Gemini for the low-energy replies, which is notoriously bad at following instructions and being consistent. I've consistently had Gemini outright refuse to of basic things, and even outright insult me out of the blue based on "assumptions" about my race. Yikes. They need to swap off of that ASAP. An example; I had started with the free "Awake In Chains" story, my character actually managed to escape through a tunnel. A guard magically spawned in behind them and captured them, even after a successful roll. My character was completely surrounded and had already made it clear that they would rather end themselves than be captured again. So, when the guards grabbed them and began to drag them to a torture room, I explicitly stated that my character had cut an artery using a little scrap of metal that the AI SPECIFICALLY GAVE THEM EARLIER ON, and that it was time to end the story. All of a sudden, the guards deadpans and they're back in the tunnel from earlier, with the excuse that "they're being led into a trap". HUH???? Instead of just ending the story (after I said my character had died and it was the end of the story), it just totally ignored me and quietly retconned half the session, wasting my energy and my time. It's just bad design. My character being backed into a corner with 0 hope for survival was a buzz-kill to the max; I had several successful rolls, and it completely ignored several of them in order for my character to be captured again. What was the point? Are players not meant to escape? Why put so much emphasis on escaping then? I had 0 other actionable options but to escape, it gave me nothing to work with. TLDR; the AI they use is really bad at consistently, and the prices they demand for more playtime are a downright joke. The free daily energy does not make up for the poor storytelling.
Very very flawed
First off let’s get the main thing out of the way. The energy is very predatory. You get 20 to start off and that barely gets you out of a jail cell. $5 for 50 energy to do 50 actions is a joke. Now for Arena- it’s an afterthought. I put in time and got to round 101. The energy and money cap out well before that and most boons aren’t worth it. I play the barbarian route and rampage is too good of a card with uncapped damage as long as you have energy. The aesthetic of everything except the generic looking hub world is great though. But remember a lot of the tools in ChatGPT are free.
Over priced and repetitive
To get a membership it is very expensive. If you don’t, you will dump far more money into energy than into a membership, both being heavily over priced, especially given you have minimal selections for your character, no spells, no attributes, only the skill sets and that’s it. Another thing I find annoying is the fact that sometimes I just don’t know what to say so I choose continue to make the story just pick what happens. Each time you click continue or action, you lose energy. There was a moment when I hit continue three times and AI only repeated itself using different words but still essentially the same thing. I wish there were more story options where you get to build your character instead of being forced to choose a pre made character. It would also be cool if your items that are selected at the beginning or purchased can be switched between your characters. Thanks as well for the response from developers. I added a couple more things to my review I forgot to add. I really appreciate that they take time to read these.

It seems like it could be very fun, but only being able to do 3 actions a day makes it almost unplayable. Arena is fun, just have to wait 30 minutes in between each play. They want over $125 for unlimited play. Sadly their greed ruins what otherwise could be really good.
Game mechanics don’t make sense
I’ve been enjoying the game and the story, but I’m having a serious issue with how my character’s attributes are being used during rolls. My character has a Spirit attribute of 10, but when the game performs a Spirit Check, I’m getting results such as: - 10 + 4 = 14 - 2 + 6 = 8 - 5 + 5 = 10 My Spirit attribute is still 10, so I don’t understand why different numbers are being used during these Spirit Checks or how my Spirit of 10 is actually being taken into consideration. This has become especially frustrating because it is causing me to fail important rolls. For example, I recently received 5 + 5 = 10 vs DC 12, resulting in a failure. I have specifically invested my level-up points into Spirit because I want my character to be strong in Spirit-based actions, but when a Spirit Check happens, I cannot tell how my actual Spirit attribute is affecting the result. I’ve noticed the same confusion with other attributes as well. When I put points into Physical, Mental, Social, Spirit, or Luck, I expect those investments to have a clear and understandable effect when the corresponding attribute is checked. The biggest issue is that the game does not explain how the displayed attribute number is being used during these rolls. I’m not asking for the game to make every roll successful. Failure is part of the game. However, I should be able to understand why I failed and how the attribute points I’ve invested are affecting my chances. Please either correct the way attributes are being applied during checks or provide a clear explanation within the game showing exactly how my displayed attribute is being taken into consideration when a roll occurs. Right now, I can see that I have Spirit 10, but when a Spirit Check happens, the numbers shown on the roll do not clearly correspond with that attribute, making character progression feel confusing and unrewarding.

I have never played DND before, but this right here this app this game definitely blew my mind. I tried another DND app was not impressed but this one definitely took it out the water.
Could be good but is a cash grab
Could be so fun, but all it is at the end of the day is trying to take advantage of people who want to play DnD. Prices for premium are ridiculous and you run out of energy fast and have to either buy more for ridiculous prices or pay the outrageous premium. Do not get this unless you hate your wallet.

Good story
This has a good story and character play, but having such a sever limit on the trial period kind of turned me off. Not sure yet if I want to pay for it since I didn’t really get vested in the character and story yet.

I loved the fact that I can added multi verse and my favorite factions from books I read and make so many wars stories and have fantasies mix sci-fi and etc.

Energy Money sink
Energy driven game in which you get a minuscule amount freely given daily. No ‘time restore’ energy a must spend to play game at any length of time. Making it not worth while Game play scenario generation is unique.

Interesting idea
Thank you for this text based Dungeons & Dragons type of role-play. I am legally blind, but wondering what is the point of your race and your class in this game as far as I can tell there is nothing that says exactly why you are choosing certain race or why you were choosing a certain class and no idea what your abilities are supposed to be without it being stated upfront. I think during character creation there needs to be descriptors for each and if this is Dungeons & Dragons, tell me what my skills and my abilities are that as far as I could tell, the only thing about this, that is Dungeons & Dragons is the world. As far as I can tell you use three dice to make a skill check and everything seems to be a skill check in this game. It is not dungeons and dragons, dungeons and dragons users 20 sided die for many things as well as the 12, 10, eight, six and four sided dice as well as the D 100 please make this make sense to me how this is Dungeons & Dragons and please make this make sense to me what the purpose of race and class are what abilities do you get for each etc.. How do I know if a weapon I pick up I am going to be able to use competently? How do I know if I need a magic tomb what are your abilities scores for? In Dungeons & Dragons normally your build scores are from 3 to 18 with anything from a 10 and above give you a plus one for every two points above 10 and a minus one for every two points below 10. And the abilities are completely different in the two games please help make sense of everything about your game in plain language so that I know what I can do that is special from one class to another. I haven’t tested this but wondering no matter what class I take can I tell the games dungeon match that I am doing anything I want to whether it is available to do class in Dungeons & Dragons or not? How many attacks do I get in a turn or is every character only allowed one attack? How do I use magic in the game? Is it totally up to me my imagination in what I described to the dungeon master as what I am doing magically? How does this all work? or any other item in the shop?
