Work in progress
Had some problems initially - passport not scanning, then kyc not verifying. Emailed the developers each time with screen shots and details and each issue was resolved in a few days. Impressive!
Unable to scan my passport via NFC
Cannot scan my passport via NFC to create account. I place my phone to my passport, no matter where I scan also cannot detect. Received an email on 14 August 2026 to update the version because of NFC improvement. However, I still unable to scan my passport. What kind of update is this? Why so difficult to scan my passport? Encourage us to use app but won’t let us complete the profile with NFC? Still unable to scan my passport via NFC on 2 September 2026. Ask us to use the app but end up the app is not ready.

Passport Scan Issue
I cannot scan my passport and so I can not create a profile. THIM passport scan fails because the passport has a security feature that the app thinks is a covered photo. The passport is the newer model US passport. Feedback from other nationalities indicates that same problem. Example: Norway

I inputted GBR but Scottish came up on form, didn’t think anything of it as I am Scottish, came into BKK last week with this info with no problems. Look forward to 90 day reporting and visa extension/renewals

Bug Report: Urgent Attention Required – NFC Scanning
The latest 2.15.3 resolved the NFC challenge Thanks 18 Aug 2026 —- Sawasdee Support Team, 11 Aug 2026 The latest 2.15.2 test outcome shows that we are able to complete the NFC scan and being processed successfully. The scan was performing an update to have NFC verified on my an existing profile. Unfortunately the outcome wasn’t refresh the latest result with NFC verified instead of stay at email verification Can shed some light do we need to delete the current’s profile and re-register for the new and then set as default? Your prompt response is much appreciated ***** Sawadee Support Team, 02 Aug 2026 After updating the application to version 2.15, I performed NFC scanning and found that the issue still persists. In version 2.15, as soon as the device is placed in the correct NFC scanning position, the application immediately returns an error and the scanning process fails. In comparison, version 2.14.8 behaves differently. The NFC scanning process is able to progress to 100% completion before the error is returned and the operation fails. This indicates that the behavior has changed in the latest version and may require further investigation. Additional tuning and optimization of the NFC scanning process are necessary to identify and resolve the issue. Thanks in advance ********* I am writing to report that the passport NFC scanning issue persists in version 2.14.8. Specifically, the scan reaches 100% completion before returning an error and failing. As a workaround, I was able to successfully create my profile on an iPhone 16e by using the "Skip NFC" option to enter my details manually. Could the team please investigate and address these e-KYC and database entry bugs in an upcoming update? Thank you for your assistance.
Scanner works well
No issue with scanning my passport. Was able to create my account and added the profile of travelling partner.
passport scanner not working
Like others, passport NFC scanner does not work at all. Applied for other visas and it worked so definitely not my phone’s issue and is an app issue.
Update now works for TDAC
Recent update now means TDAC works as it correctly reports me as British and not Scottish. Will be useful that i wont need to keep entering my information every time i fly back to the beautiful kingdom. Adding 90 day reporting would be really good to have everything in one place. Thank you 🙏

The app is simple and easy only issue is their isn’t anyway to go back and scan the chip and if continue the process. Like the person said before you cannot delete the process and start over. So they just have to fix that issue

Works okay so far
I'm not sure what the reviews in Cyrillic are complaining about, but I've downloaded the app here in the US and created an account, including successfully reading in my passport's RFID chip; it all worked without a hitch. I appear to be good to go. Unfortunately I don't expect to be traveling to Thailand anytime very soon, so I can't yet review how the app works at the Thai end of the trip. But so far, at least, so good…

RFID working now
It looks like they fixed the passport scanning issue I had on my 17 pro max, but there’s doesn’t appear to be a way to redo the scanning once you skip that function when adding your passport. I tried deleting my profile, but it won’t let you if you only have one profile. I also tried creating a new profile, but it won’t let you add your passport if it’s already been added without RFID. All of this being said, the getting the TDAC still worked fine and I had no issues upon my arrival. 4 stars until they fix the profile UI issues:..
Still need improvements to be usable
A great idea that could help us a lot but does not support modern passports NFC reading (no authentication) and needs some improvements. Looking forward for the next version, thanks.

Whilst a great idea, isn’t really functional. Won’t scan NFC on 3 different phones, and really strange it considers me Scottish despite choosing BRITAIN as where I’m from 🙏🏻

IC 読み取りとプロフィール設定が上手く動きません。 IC読み取りNGは、スマートフォン側の仕様が様々なので、使用条件によっては読み取りを失敗する可能性は高いと思います。しかし、リリース前に主要な機種と各国パスポートダミーで実機検証を十分やっているかは疑問が残ります。 プロフィール設定NGはTDAC初期と同様に、受け手側の処理が追いついていない状況と想像します。負荷実績を根拠として予算が付けばサーバ増強されるでしょう。タイ国籍以外のユーザは待つしかない所と思います。 また、プログレスバーなどを使ったアプリ動作状況表示がされないためユーザーは状況把握ができないUIデザインとなっています。アプリ側都合のデザインになっており考え方がオールドスタイルです。

Cannot scan my passport This should be essential. Also when created a profile it is not possible to scan the NFC afterwords, you have to create a new profile. Not very convenient

This App is the good step on the way
The App looks helpful in the future, but with bugs now. First of all, it is impossible to scan the biometric data via NFC. Even after the 100% it shows the fault message. Concerning functionality, it will be nice to add TM30 and request of the Residence Certificate. For the last one, it is the business for sure, but it looks as the document that can be issued online (in theory).
Some issues
It’s very nice and much more comfortable travel to Thailand Kingdom with this app and I’ll definitely use it for my next trip in October but there is a problem with phone number confirmation. Because of this trouble I can’t end up with my registration.
