This game is the best game ever but it is hard
I loved the creepy moments when monsters attack your boat and the soundtrack but it is hard sometimes like when in the pale reach I got stuck and lost but I made it out and now I’m stuck because I can’t get his gear the allows you to fish in the hadal and abissal levels. But I still love ❤️ this game (tip for new players get better rods early and lights it really helps )

No business being this good
This game, alongside Sneaky Sasquatch, are the best Apple arcade games I have ever played. Very immersive and plenty to explore, I just wish it had apple TV support
No way to adjust type scale
I was excited to play but abandoned within the tutorial as all the menus and subtitles were at such a size as to be practically unreadable.
Great Game But Has Bugs
I played the steam version and this game certainly has a character and great atmosphere. I wanted to try it on mobile too, but it has lots of bugs. Things i buy dont appear in my inventory yet i lose the money, and so on.

That’s it. It’s too annoying that the font is so small. Unless you have 2020 vision this game never stands a chance
Good game with some stupidity
Fun, beautiful game, but some of the gameplay is just flat out stupid. The best example of this is when the game gives you a quest only to let you get to the quest location and spawn a gigantic mutant fish that you have no ability whatsoever to defend from while it wrecks your boat and causes you to sit in a reload loop trying to complete a quest.
The best mobile game I’ve ever played
Truly. It’s beautiful, works perfectly on iOS and it’s genuinely fun, takes patience, craft and it’s really an adventure. I love it. I hope for more in this exact same vein from Black Salt!
What is this, a game for ants?
The font is too small to read and the buttons are too small for human fingers to press on a phone and I didn’t see a way to change the scale. I even set the font size to be larger in iOS accessibility settings but the game did not honor that setting. I’m surprised apple allowed a game in Apple Arcade that doesn’t fully work on their devices.
Great game…
got this for a plane flight, ive been playing it for a couple weeks now - its a great game and definitely worth a download. but my main concern is that i wish there was some intermediate setting for the jumpscares. yes, you can turn off all monsters/enemies but thats such an important part of the game. im autistic and get very easily scared, and the jumpscared make me squeal or scream which is not good for a lot of situations (car/train/plane, with family, etc.) so im not sure what the solution is (mostly just for me to get less scared!!) but i hope the devs would consider some setting to balance that out for players like me. overall though this is such a fun game! exciting gameplay, actual exploration mechanics, quests, a *really good* story with well done, diverse characters - i love it!! :D
Too dark
I can barely see what I'm doing and I don't really know what I am doing or supposed to do. It's set up for a tutorial but I am not getting any help.
Great potential
I really wanted to give this game a better review, because like you will read in all the other reviews, the art is amazing, and a lot of the writing is amazing. That sad… This is a game created by a team of people who seem to have no idea how to resolve these incredible ideas they have. They’re endings are terrible. All of them. Every single ending leaves you hanging. Every single piece of DLC ends with a feeling of “Was that it???“ Each DLC is just a shopping list, and it has no meaning to the overall story, zero purpose, and unlike the DLC of other games, they don’t extend the game at all. I loved playing the game at first, but I was kind of relieved when it was over, instead of that feeling you get with most great games of being sorry that it’s over because we just want them to keep going. If I gave this game a better review, I would be doing it a disservice, because they need to get a writing team in to polish up those endings so they can have one of those games that is remembered for years as one of the best games ever.

Text size is unnecessarily small on iPhone 16 Pro, even though there’s plenty of room on the screen for a larger font. Suggestion: find a single game tester who wears reading glasses.
Balanced, Rich, but Short
Game was fun, clean, and rich with content for my entire experience. I thought the difficultly was perfectly balanced, not too hard but also not too easy. My only complaint is that the game ended rather quickly. They could benefit from expanding the map, or possibly we get a sequel?

Sur iPhone 13, ça ram beaucoup passé un certains moment (tous les graphismes au minimum et même 30fps ne change rien). Du coup la pêche devient très compliqué, la navigation également et ça ruine le gameplay.
Great graphics but mechanics poorly explained
Love the graphics and the storyline however The mechanics sometimes left me baffled. For example, I bought a fishing rod for the volcanic ocean, however when I actually went there despite the spot being marked as volcanic, it said equipment not suitable. Also, it took me 60 in game days to figure out how the research tokens worked.
This Game is Genuinely Amazing
Have loved every second of it. The underlying sinister tone coupled with the amazing music and gorgeous art style make for an eerie yet beautiful ambiance, 10/10.
What am I supposed to do to fish?
I suppose I caught fish. Now all I can do is put them back in the water or rearrange them in a grid. What am I supposed to do with this?
Really fun game
The game is fun, but it has not been created for a phone and it’s noticeable. I’ve played it on pc and it’s so much simpler. It needs some kind of difficulty adjustment or better way to control the ship.
Unübersichtlich und nicht angenehm auf dem iPhone zu spielen
Warum nur speichern an einer Insel? - ist nicht gut durchdacht wenn man unterwegs das Spiel schließt. UI ist teilweise sehr unübersichtlich. Keine richtige Belohnungen im Game. Anfangs interessant aber dann nur noch mühselig zu spielen.

Zerei o jogo Dredge original e agora baixei o Dredge+ e não consigo fazer a portabilidade do meu Save do 1° jogo pra este aqui. Gostaria de uma solução!

Fun and challenging
The game premise is a fresh take on a journey / adventure that is part scavenger hunt and part storytelling quest. The only NEGATIVE is the VERY VERY VERY small / illegible text in some aspects of the game. That definitely impacts some aspects of the gameplay and is a major thumbs down from a playability perspective.

This game looks amazing but the font are way to small on iPhone. There is no way of increasing text size.

Игра так-то отличная, атмосферная. Потому отсутствие поддержки apple tv эт очень плохо, на большом экране поиграть бы хотелось. Иначе было б 5 звезд, а мелкие экранчики для такой атмосферной игры ну такое совсем

Fonts are too small on my device 😠
I have an iPhone 14 Plus and the text is way too small to read. And when I switch the language to French, the text gets even smaller and become even more unreadable. Game seems enyoyable, but the small text and buttons make it not fin to play. This is a cheap port, sadly. I’ll go and get the PC version instead.

Great game the only con is battery drainage. Story adventure and upgrades are well made. The fact that are different mini games for different species is nice.
The game is great but…
It’s really great, I have already played it on pc so I know it is quite fun. The problem is the ui is not scaled for iPhones. Thus the texts are hard to read and inventory management is tiring. It looks like there is more work to be done for this port of the game but if these were fixed It would be perfect. But in this state, I don’t recommend it.
It's a really fun game!
I don't have anything to say really, but it's about fishing in a world that's crazy at nighttime, so you could call it a horror game. You fish to get money so you can go on quests to the other islands, and you might have to repair your boat. There is no paying with real money and no adds.

Hard to read text
I really like the idea of the game it’s really fun and the characters are very interesting and believable but one thing about the game is the text is very small and extremely long hard to read and I’m wearing reading glasses I’ve been trying to see if there’s a setting that can change the text and enlarge it but I can’t.

Absolutely adore the game, the story and the visual world of this game. Kept coming back even after finishing it which is a rarity for me my only gripe is I wished it was more content!
Horrible font size
Developers said they won’t be changing the font size in this game 2 years ago. This game shouldn’t be released on an iPhone for this reason. I own the latest iPhone and can’t read most of the in game text.
Backbone support
Would be nice to see backbone support for this game. I loved playing it on the switch. Mobile version is much more suited when you’re limited to only carrying your phone and backbone controller.

さっそく始めたんだけど先頭に置いたものを保管庫に移動しようとしてつまづいた。クリック可能なマウスホイールが必要らしいんだけど、Magic Mouseなので、ないんだ……。 マウスホイールによる航行中の船の速度調整もできていない気がする。 コントローラが使えれば苦労しないのかもしれないけど、どうもコントローラを認識していないような…… （ストアには「コントローラ対応」のサインがない） 雰囲気はとてもいいです。 ちゃんとプレイしたい。
