Title says it all. It such a major headache to even try and play this game on a mobile device.
Give it another chance
The game does have problems but they are fixable and the Devs seem motivated. I gave the game a chance and I’m really enjoying myself.

Good game, but a lot of bugs.
This game is really nice and I got it not that long ago, but the problem I’m having that’s real annoying is logging out. Idk if this happened to other players but the game logs me out after about 5 minutes and I can’t even hardly enjoy the game because of it. So please fix this. I want to enjoy the game. It’s also very laggy too, but idk if that’s because I play on iPad. I don’t want to delete the game then redownload it because something similar like this happened to another on of my games and deleting the game and getting again made me getting kicked out of the game worse. So I'm not sure what else to do. But please, please fix this!. I really want to enjoy this game.
Love the game, will never run
I have tried and tried to get into the game off and on for the months it has been online. It is no where close to optimized for mobile and in my eyes if you are going to make a game available for mobile your mobile optimization should be the priority. You have such a severe data leak or what ever is going on that it is absolutely refusing to run the game on any graphical setting that is attempted. So basically, constant crashes even with the latest of funs and everything else shut off but the game. Suggestion is remove it for mobile in its entirety and fully lean into PC and make it a real video game instead of half assed, mobile is holding you back.

Soft locked and can’t continue quest. Would not recommend
Currently soft locked in a main quest and have no way of continuing the story so I can’t get any of the new characters or level up my characters any higher. I can’t do anything pretty much to progress my account and I spent money to get a new characters skin with no way to get the character now. I was so excited for this patch but it was a huge disappointment. I would like to get in contact with customer service tin regards to a refund on the money I spent this patch since I can’t even continue the game at this point and at this point have no interest in continuing playing.
Great potential but some obstacles
Character designs are really nice, but the controls on mobile are horrible. They lack the convenience of other similar genre games. It's difficult to move forward in a straight line or to turn the screen while moving.

キャラ武器共に無料で手に入るが 無限単調周回なので飽きが早いかもしれない。 今後のアプデで改善されるとのことなので、ユーザーの周回負担はかなり緩和される未来。 今後に期待しつつ、今は軽めにプレイが良いと思う。 現段階はガッツリしないとかなり厳しい面が多い。 修行レベルの虚無である。 スマホの人口が多いソシャゲにおいて、必須並の操作がスマホだと不慣れな人は難しい。 ストーリーと戦闘面の操作はとても良いが、探索面等の移動スキルでの操作が非常に難しい。 初期からある任務のMAPが改善されたらとても良くはなりそう。 スマホ勢の探索移動で乗り物が実装されたが、槍のスキル移動に慣れてる人は物足りなさと限定乗り物の高さには驚くかもしれない。 アバターガチャはとても渋いので、 他ゲーで２凸〜完凸を目指すぐらいになりそう。

Chops to the extreme
I really want to give this game a chance but I keep giving up, every time I try and play is runs so clunky and constantly freezes. I can play similar large games no problem (Genshin, Zzz, war frame, Diablo etc) so I know it’s not my phone. From what I have seen the graphics are great and the game itself seems promising I just can’t play it
Bugs in the game
Hello Duet Night Abyss Team, I would like to report two bugs that I encountered. Bug 1: Quest Progression Issue Quest Name: Beyond the Mountains Objective: Investigate outside the cave / Operate the device outside the cave Issue: * The required ball does not appear. * I searched the entire area but could not find it. * The Mechanical Nexus scan does not detect any ball or related object. * As a result, I cannot progress the quest. Bug 2: Login Issue Issue: * After the latest update, I am unable to log into the game. * The game displays a message stating that the servers are unavailable due to network issues. * My internet connection is working normally, and other online games function without problems. * I also reinstalled the game and tested a new account, but the issue remains. I hope these issues can be investigated and fixed soon. Thank you.
Extremely buggy
Don’t get me wrong I love this game but it gets to a point…I can’t even finish the new mission because it kicks me out of the game
Comparisons
It’s a more grindy game than Wuwa, it’s a spectrum though, either it’s gacha and you can’t get them all. Or with this game you can grind to get them all for free. Me personally I prefer this. HSR is hp inflated, that game is p2p HAHA, Wuwa is skill issue, and this game you can beat if you just grind.
Characters
This game looks incredibly fun, nice graphics, good story, and I suppose that one POC character, but the children in this game are dressed highly inappropriately, and the only male child is of course fully covered, this is really not okay a frankly disgusting, children, human or not shouldn’t be dressing like this.
Gacha system
The Gacha system is amazing the actual gameplay sucks. Thats the reason the game is dying
Buggy
This game is great, and I really had a lot of fun playing it. However, I found that it felt like there was a lot missing. The game is great and I love the story and characters, but I feel like it’s missing depth other games have. It could really use some changes to its systems and mechanics along with adding new things to improve it. I love this game and really hope they change things in the future to make it an even greater game! There’s a lot of room for improvement and I think developers should look into what people have said could make the game better
I keep holding out hope, but..
While some things get better, some things either stay the same or get worse. So many bugs that have been left unaddressed, especially if you use controller on PC (controller doesn’t even work properly at all on mobile). And they’ve added some new modes and content. The story also remains top notch and the music is great. But the grind just gets worse and worse and worse. And now, with the new weapons, you are expected to use more than a week’s worth of commission manuals just to make one compass to do one run that you need to do dozens of. This economy makes no sense unless you pay HEAVILY for manuals, never mind how you also need materials you could only get during one specific event to upgrade the weapons and tons of coins and track shift modules. It just makes no sense. You could play this game as a full time job and never be able to raise everything you need to stay in the meta. This game just does not know how to monetize.
Made me uninstalled 2 top gacha games.
This game is all I wished for - no FOMO, no ridiculous RNG on “relic farming” and no notorious fake pity (aka 50-50). I’ll be a lifelong supporter as long as they keep it this way. P.S. it’s a bit more time consuming than other games where you can only play 5 mins a day before depleting “energy”, but you can play it on your own pace so no complaints!
Mobile users are suffering
This game is very fun so is the gameplay and story but my game keeps freezing and the graphics of the story cutscenes are horrible and i quit the game temporarily until you guys fix this.

Currently 1.2 just dropped and man, this game isn’t bad but it really needed a whole nother year in the oven. After the game came out it felt like the devs progressively stopped being more communicative, obviously at the start they announced changes and qol every few days. After 1.1 that’s when it started, we didn’t even get a dev livestream for 1.2. Obviously developing takes time and all that, but it’s the fact they never communicate they say they hear all our feedback and complaints, but never ever address them or even acknowledge them. The fact this game from the start already had a sketchy future now it seems like it’s not gonna survive next year hell it may not even survive once summer starts at this point. For a game like this the devs needs to communicate and keep the community up to date as much as possible but they are dropping the ball at every turn, they admittedly dropped some great qol and decent stuff I won’t take that away from their hard work but this game won’t survive unless proven wrong

While the game has its flaws, it's worth trying before criticizing it. Not everyone will enjoy it, as it can be grindy. However, the characters are free, and the game isn't pay-to-win, so there's no risk in giving it a shot.
1.4 Abyssal theater is utter trash
I was a day 1 player since game launched and 1.4 is the worst patch in history. Im done. 4 golden books to enter the new game mode, and you’re forced to co op. I trusted the devs for 6 months but mo more. Im done. Every decision they make is stupid and money hungry.
The game lagging
I really liked the design, the story, the abilities we can use , and ofc being able to use gun and sword without switching characters is really fun, but the game lagging so much if you guys can fix it then it would be really good game

baits you into by playing by promising no gacha. no gacha is great don’t get me wrong. but it’s clear they don’t actually care about the game itself; movement controls on ios make the game nearly unplayable, characters locked behind ridiculous trials that require you to grind endlessly to gather the resources you need, eyc. it’s like they purposely made getting free characters extra difficult so that you give in and just buy the premium currency to buy “pieces” pf each character with. had high hopes but just another garbage, money-hungry game with little consideration for the playerbase. nice tactic trying to fool people into thinking you care by marketing dna as gacha free though. that’s new at least. the only decent thing about the game is the voice acting.
Good but..
Been playing for a few days now. Really pretty game has tons of potential but… many issues. First is camera. It keeps zooming in on the character when I fight or need to jump or anything really. Cant see the bad guys your even fighting?! I cant jump because I cant see what I’m trying to jump too! I went into settings and tried adjusting camera settings and it does nothing. All I see if the back of my toons head fighting blind. I use my pinch to zoom out works for a second till I swing my sword or jump its back to her head?! Please fix this. Please put an Option to have it permanently zoomed out switch. Another issue is you will be fighting on a bridge in a factory and many bad monsters zoomed into the head of the toon I end up falling off the bridge and cant get back to the bridge? There’s no unstuck character option anywhere??? It keeps restarting me in the stuck position if I kill myself. #1 game if that was fixed and the camera zoom option was available. As it is now it’s unplayable because you have to fight constantly when doing missions and i cant see what I’m doing and the toon will jump doing these fancy moves which will make you fly off a edge and get stuck lol. It’s bummer tried to go to developers site to submit issue instead of here because wanted to give chance to fix before i review it but there was no options to submit a issue on the website nor through the game itself. Hope you guys fix this so this game can really sing! Ty oh and I’ve played this on iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPad Pro both issues on both devices I’d hate to delete this it has so much potential

I’m not coming back to this game after it got hacked twice, I’m not risking the safety of all my information for a single game.
Initial thoughts
Good gameplay and story, va’s are very good. The combat mechanics feel a little choppy and they are essentially a mash mechanism where you just spam but the effects are cool. If you like interesting story and don’t care about game mechanics this game is for you!

Since this update I haven’t been able to even play the game, it logs me in, I press start, and then when I see some gameplay, it crashes and I can’t play

I’ll only say it’s good because I think it has potential—it’s just been recently launched, so of course It has buggy issue, a lil choppy, and I think the lip sync is a bit behind?? Maybe that’s just the lag causing the delay. But I really like that’s there’s some cool mechanics like the sliding, hex jump, the attacks, the unlocking mechanism, the character designs. I’m still progressing because I want to see the future of this game!!! AND BECAUSE THERE IS GUNS!

the voice acting of characters is by far the biggest highlight of this game. there’s a few small issues like max graphics on iphone 16 being pretty terrible, but that’s expected for mobile. the gacha for skins rather than characters is great, but the skins itself are distasteful as they blatantly sexualize characters which obviously look underage, and are designed to be this way. not a big fan.
Fanservice
Duet Night Abyss is fun, but it has far too much fanservice. A swimsuit skin? Really? I like the game a lot, but I just wish it was a bit more inclined and welcoming toward female players.
