Wenn ich euer UXer wäre, würde ich verhindern, dass die aktuelle App so im Appstore steht. Und stark verbessern. Testet ihr eigentlich auch? 1.) Meldungen aus der App lassen sich einfach nicht an euch senden. Das nervt! Entweder erhalte ich Fehlermeldungen „falsches Dateiformat“ oder die Meldung kann generell nicht abgesendet werden. 2.) Auch würde ich mir aus UX-Sicht mehr Information beim Abschliess/Rückgabeprozess wünschen. 3.) eure Tarif-Produkte und Abos versteht man erst nach einiger Zeit mit Recherche. -> müsste intuitiver erklärt werden. 4.) ich habe bei 50% der Ausleihen irgend ein technisches Problem. Kommunikation von Velo zum Handy müsste robuster werden.
Awful. Never written a bad review until today.
Never use these. We biked 5 miles to a place, just to find out that we couldn’t leave them anywhere. The app does not tell you where drop off sites are, so we had to ride a mile and a half back to a random one we saw on the side of the road. Don’t waste your time
App fehlerhaft, Velos in teils schlechtem Zustand
Biel/Bienne: Die Fahrräder sind teilweise in schlechtem Zustand, und die Funktion in der App zum Melden von Problemen funktioniert nicht („ungültige oder fehlende Felder"). Das ist mir bereits zweimal passiert, einmal bei einem wackelnden Ständer und einmal bei fast flachen Reifen. Fast alle normalen Fahrräder wurden durch Fahrräder mit kleinen Rädern (20") ersetzt, die ziemlich schwer und weniger stabil sind. Es gibt keine E-Bikes mehr. Als ich das letzte Mal ein Fahrrad mieten wollte, musste ich die Hotline anrufen, da sich das Fahrrad mit der App nicht entsperren ließ. Es gibt keine andere Möglichkeit, mit dem Unternehmen in Kontakt zu treten, als per Chat (nur ein Chatbot, kein Mensch) oder per Telefon - keine E-Mail. Fazit: es gibt Verbesserungspotential!
Not for visitors
App does not accept international numbers. So tourists cannot use the bikes!
App funktioniert sehr holprig - Support ist eine Katastrophe
Grundsätzlich bin ich ein Fan und nutze die Bikes intensiv. Leider sind diese nicht immer in einem guten Zustand oder die App zickt beim entsperren. Das wäre aber alles noch ok. Schlimm wird es, wenn man Support braucht. Man muss ein niffeliges Formular ausfüllen und ich warte seit Wochen auf eine Antwort. Um danach zu Fragen, muss ich nun nochmals eine Anfrage machen. Sorry aber ihr spart am falschen Ende. Ihr versteckt euch!

Bei mir funktioniert die App problemlos aber die Abopreise sind bodenlos. 5.- für 30 min ist auch krass.

Steter Qualitätsverlust
Die neuen Velos sind eine Enttäuschung. Ein Korb in den fast nichts mehr hineinpasst, ein Entsperrprozess bei dem man hoffen muss, dass die App einem keinen Strich durch die Rechnung macht wegen irgendwelchen Systemfehlern oder Server Errors, und zuguter letzt die unglaublich kurzen Sattelstützen. Wieso baut man Velos die maximal von Menschen mit 180cm Körpergrösse effizient gefahren werden können? Die Velos ohne Strom sind sowieso automatisch ein Workout weil diese so schlecht rollen. Bitte längere Sattelstützen verbauen!
Constantly breaking & glitching
Bikes rarely work, overcharges are frequent, and the app is just clunky overall. Do not recommend.

Three different apps for the same company and regions that are very close, that’s not an improvement! This new system doesn’t bring anything better for the users…
International numbers not supported
Doesn’t take international numbers, more or less useless if you’re visiting from from overseas
Incorrect Charges
As several users have reported this app seems to have serious trouble with billing rides. In my particular case, I parked the bike and received confirmation of such through the app. 2 days later I receive a 48CHF charge which upon checking my ride history corresponds to a 5 hour bike ride. While this has been dealt with through customer service it is frustrating that the app seems to falsely record the end of a ride and result in false charges.
expensive and not transparent
This service is too expensive, specially comparing it with other similar services in Zurich. Plus a lot more cumbersome than it has to be. I can’t recommend it at all.
Keeps getting worse
Ever since the launch of the new app this service has gotten worse and worse. Now there are many bugs with bikes not unlocking, not locking, double charging or being charged for someone else’s ride after yours ended or never even started, etc. Newest issue is they have two physical spots per location in zurich city but never removed either, so if you park at the wrong station they don’t count as ride ended despite the station clearly being there. And best of all when everything is worse they replaced their customer support with a completely useless chatbot which tells you to wait 48 hours for every issue, during which you cannot use the app anymore. Absolute scam and shame compared to the previous publibike app. Terrible
