Everything been nice and tasty, but wait for dessert nearly 1 hour I think it’s a little too long.
Not fit for purpose
As a regular customer I received all lemons and rewards first time round. After that the lemons didn’t reset and although I have checked in over 10 times, no lemons or rewards have been received. I tried emailing a few times but no one responded. Quite disappointed.
Good App with Rewards and Perks
But wait until you have finished the 3rd stamp …. no more rewards. None. Just perks. Which we can’t always use. Felt more valued when on the 1st to 3rd stamp. Have contacted Customer Service but no help. Not sure the app is even worth it anymore.

I love it there. My favourite spot. Food, location, views and staff. It has all we need
Problem with app
I have to change my password every time I try to sign in. Really annoying, especially since I can never get phone signal in restaurant and have to log into their WiFi first!
Frozen app
*** update to 4* Jan ‘26 app problems were resolved in full with lost points reinstated after contacting Ask Italian directly- there had been UK wide issue that messed up on the night I visited. Apologies, I should have updated review earlier *** Ask is a distance away from home so visits are well planned in advance. Came to my nearest branch with a birthday voucher on app. App has been frozen since before we arrived. Will they still give us £10 off I wonder? 🤭
App frozen again!
So I get an email telling me that the latest offer is now available in the Ask Perks app but when I open the app it is frozen on the first page! If I turn up at Ask will the offer be honoured or not?
Painful
This app is driving me nuts. I realised my email address is wrong and that’s why i wasn’t getting booking notifications. You can’t amend it and I’ve tried to delete the app to start again but the dropdown on the “ delete account “ section doesn’t work! So annoying.
Delicious food
We had a delicious dinner with great service and friendly staff and perfect atmosphere
Utter dross
Download App. Enter Password. “Get started”. Enter Password. “Get Started”. Enter Password. “Get started” etc etc etc. stuck in a loop. You can see some marketing dweeb going “I know, let’s put the rewards only available on the app but then make the app so bad that no one can get them and when they’re in the restaurant it will be too late!” Both my wife and I had the same issue so it’s not a me problem. Don’t bother with the App and go to another restaurant
Deleted my account
App worked fine and I think I had two stamps. Haven’t been on it for maybe 6 months and it’s deleted my account. I have made a new account and seems to work fine again but just annoying. I don’t go often enough (because i don’t live near an ask) for the stamps to matter so much, the deal is what I’ve used it for the last two times, and the deals are good (eg 2 for 1 main or free pasta dish) so I would recommend the app just for that. But still frustrating having to make a new account and losing my lemons!
Great family meal
The vibe was really nice for a Sunday afternoon, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was spot on

Won’t Open
The app will not open - online help suggests it’s the password, therein lies the problem. Deleted app and reinstalled still looking at the splash screen, so can’t actually do anything to fix it.

Always get a good meal at Ask with good service.
App won’t load
Bit of a shame as the app won’t load up at all, and just shows the welcome screen I’ve booked to go elsewhere for an event coming up as I have ask perks to use and no way of using them as the app won’t load up.

A really lovely meal and brilliant service. Great staff.
Freezing!
App no longer working , have deleted and reinstalled but just keeps freezing on the first screen. Have tried with WiFi and data. Won’t be eating in Ask if I can’t use my rewards!

Love the rewards. New menu is great too. Staff at Paddington always give great service!
Disappointed
I really should have read the reviews first before downloading… I got the verification code and everything fine but now it just tells me that the app is unavailable and nothing else.

App completely frozen
I’ve tried so hard to get this perks app to work as my don loves going to Ask to eat but it just says oops there’s a problem constantly. I’ve deleted app as the server told me to do and reinstated but still the same issue. It’s so disappointing and frustrating. Ask really need to look into this app, as even the server said how bad it was and how many customers she has in daily complaining about it.
