Meal at the bell Aston Clinton
It was a totally unpleasant Experian experience at a table for two as requested they had a wake in another room the disabled people were let in though the back door and we had to be disturbed every time someone came in our food was cold our whole lunch was ruined complained to the waitress who said you’d o agree with you but there is nothing I can do ! Totally ruined m lunch

Got there at 6:45 has starters at 7:45 very slow ot impressed not the waitresses fault omg losing interest am not going there anytime soon

Losing the will to go back
We have visited Melville inn Dalkeith three (3) times recently. 1. Great service from American waitress and good food. 2. Visited with friends and waited over 40 minutes for drinks and then more time for food. Barperson complained he was too busy serving other tables outside! 3. Tonight waited over 30 minutes for a salad to arrive. When it did arrive it was the wrong meal. Taken away for correct order , which, when it arrived the chicken was dry as a stick and not enjoyable. 3. Paid bill tonight and found that I had been charged for the wrong meal as well as the overcooked chicken salad. Got a refund eventually but don’t think we will be back.

This is not against my local but the Vintage Inn group, why do our rewards expire ? Unless I’m an alcoholic I’ll never gain any rewards!
Good service but disappointing roast
We had excellent and efficient service from Connie and ordered the shared Easter lamb x2. The food was not hot and the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding (not freshly made) were stale and overcooked. The veg namely the broccoli and red cabbage were undercooked. It was disappointing considering the price. Connie gave us a discounted price which we appreciated but I’m not sure we would order a roast again.

Rubbish App
Was recommended to download this app by the hotel I was staying in. Despite the best efforts of the staff and myself, the app refused to allow me to register. We tried several options to create an account to access a discount code, but all failed. It was as if the app was designed to stop me accessing the discount code 🤔
Great meal and venue but …
We had a fab meal with family at the Badgers Sett One of our party was a rollator user and the in even slabs from the disabled parking in the carpark to the restaurant was scary

Codes don’t work
I downloaded this app and have now tried to use it on 2 occasions. I the first the main code worked but the money off codes didn’t. On the second neither the main code or money off codes worked. Annoyed. Puts me off the brand entirely as I feel the app is just a vehicle to get my personal details.
Chimneys hooton
Just had a lovely lunch at the chimneys hooton family of 5 We eat out regularly at the chimney’s the food is always delicious the staff are so friendly and hard working Mark our waiter always makes the experience special nothing is too much bother for him he’s happy, positive, polite and funny great with the kids We are looking forward to our next meal there and already booked for Christmas Day

Attended The Lambs Green for Monday Quiz night !! The pub had a great atmosphere and was very busy. Despite that our server Maddie was terrific and our food was delivered promptly.. Our meals were delicious and the service was exceptional .. We had a lovely evening and even took our Labrador who was made most welcome !
