Excellent For Motivation
I have used this application for four years to ride a bike (virtually) across the USA, across Canada, and from the Artic Ocean (Pudhoe Bay) to Seattle. Being an (ahme) older person, this app allows me to stay motivated and keep exercising. It is simple to use and any issues I have had with the App got a quick resolution. I am now on a rowing mission. I like this App so much I just bought two more years subsciption.
ANCOP Virtual Mission
This app is not user friendly at all that a lot of our participants are not able to install and use the alp. It is very frustrating and in a lot of times, we cannot even enter the miles we walked. I think like 90% of the 107 teams will not reach their destination in 40 days. Unless they allow us to extend for another month, it will be very frustrating and just a waste of time and money.
Useful tracker
I have found this app very useful for keeping track of how much activity I do and to keep me motivated. I have a couple of health issues that require regular exercise and this app has been great for keeping me active regularly the support team are great at getting in touch if I have asked for help or assistance with the different functions of the app. Would recommend the app for anyone who likes to keep track of what exercise they do, the app connects with other tracking devices.
Enjoyed it at first, now it doesn’t work
I used this app for several months and enjoyed the virtual hike across Europe, though it was disappointing that it updated distances only overnight rather than live. Then it stopped updating them altogether. It won’t let me enter them manually either and the text on the screen of glitchy. So basically it’s dead now. :-(
Love it but has issues
I love this app and participating in the virtual challenges but every couple of days the app won’t open and I have to delete it and re install it. It’s annoying. I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue.
Camino De Santiago
This trek kept me moving during the COVID year. So enjoyed having friends along for this. Loved getting 5 trees planted, the historic postcards. And hope some day to get to Spain and see some of the trek in person.
Bad
Doesn’t work with my LastPass password keeper. Someone isn’t on the ball at MVM.
Please bring back the graphs!!
I have been using this app to track my progress on missions. The old app was a bit slow and clunky so the new version is a big improvement. However, I really like to see how well I’m progressing and improving which was really easy in the old app but I can’t find these graphs in the new version to do the same.
Nice app if you are willing to enter distances manually
I enjoyed the Mt Fuji challenge last year and love the medal. And the MVM app is much nicer than its partner, The Conqueror app. 2021 had been a different story. I have been going back and forth with the support team — no solution (1 week later). The problem has gone from missing a few miles to over-counting steps from Apple Heath to not registering any data from Apple Health. And the support person who was most helpful has not responded in five days. I have no idea how close they are to fixing this.
Interface looks like for iPhone 4

I finished my first challenge yesterday and I enjoyed every step! The el Camino was fabulous and I am going to sign up for a five pack!
Great concept, very poor design and usage
I bought the Appalachian Trail challenge a year ago figuring it would be a wonderful fun way to get off the pandemic couch and feel motivated to move each day. Frustrating that the app rarely syncs with my Apple Watch unless the timing when I hit the Progress option is perfect. So I will almost never see real-time updates of my progress day to day (let alone anytime throughout the day when I want to check). The Google map is very slow and only at major road crossings do I get a Streetview option, so there’s very little feel for what that part of the AT looks like where I am at. I really hoped this experience would be great, but this will be my last (about 75% done).
Works better than other app
So I tried the other conqueror app... had issues and error reports all over the place. This app always works.... BUT bring back the leaderboard part!!! That was a great aspect of the app, especially for our small group of walkers. Always kept us motivated to get to the top!
Quirky
A bit of a waste. The app doesn't stay synced to my Apple health (watch or iPhone), even after following the troubleshooting steps. So disappointing.
Awesome Concept. Poor app
I love completing these missions and getting the exercise and medals. The app is pretty bad though. It’s slow. It needs serious bug fixes, and half the time I can’t get it to load properly. This is an awesome concept, but it needs work.
Virtual Camino de Santiago
The memories of doing this challenge remotely with my daughter will forever be a COVID-19 blessing. Eduardo, Kennya, and the team at My Virtual Mission and The Conqueror Event Series provided exceptional customer service the few times I needed them. It was an amazing experience.
Awful app design
The main idea of the app is awesome. But the app is very old! It looks awful on my iPhone 11. It looks like it has been release since iPhone 5 was released, and never update. It has a lot of bugs and is not connecting whit Strava like the webpage said it does. Needs urgent updates!

Could be a great app but so tricky to use
I am using this app as part of the 1000 mile challenge. It feels so disjointed and doesn’t flow easily. I’m doing the challenge with a friend and we’d like to be able to connect to share our progress but can’t find out how. There is little support available. The route is different to the published one so not sure which one is correct. Difficult to use street view as it keeps zooming out. It’s a great way of being able to chart progress but it really could be so much better and more user friendly.
Best Virtual Marathons, Ultra runs!
I run they plant trees. I run and see my distance on the super colorful and engaging map. I also see others in front and behind! Best virtual run since having to do virtual runs. Plan to do more!!!

Poor Onboarding
There is no straightforward directions for setting up and syncing with Apple Health and Garmin. Have searched FAQ’s multiple times to price together information but still can’t get the app to sync. Frustrating
Very slow
I don’t know if it’s because it’s the start of the year, but this app is running really really slowly. I like the concept but the interface could do with an update too.

Cannot Connect
It is not user friendly whatsoever and beyond frustrating. After several attempts to rectify with their support I finally asked for a refund. They informed me that “my Conqueror Challenge Code was already used” and did nothing else to help correct the situation. I will probably never get the refund either. Way to back your product. Extremely disappointed.
Great for goals. Poor uploads from Apple Health
I love the app for keeping motivated. The virtual postcards are a nice touch. I like the map where you can see your progress with your friends. I find the interface with my iPhone mediocre at best. It can take days to register my progress. If I don’t go in and check my connection it has taken 24-72 hours to upload on its own. Love that they introduced extras like planting trees in August for every person who made a 20% goal. Just finished my walk for the Camino today. Looking forward to my first Conqueror medal.
App of frustration
I wanted to like this app. It sounded amazing, but it just has too many problems. Distances don’t get logged. I repeatedly reached out to support, but canned responses just didn’t help. I can go for days without steps being logged. Then, suddenly it logs a bunch of miles. Even with manual sync, it hasn’t logged anything for the past week. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. Give this app a hard pass.
Good but not great
I got this app to go along with a virtual marathon challenge. For the $30 I spent on the challenge I would expect the app to work a bit better. I have an iPhone X and the app layout seems to be smaller like it’s still made for the 5. It’s also very busy and there’s a lot going on in all the different tabs. It’s a great concept but y’all need to update it so it’s a little more streamlined and formatted correctly for different phones.
Love the missions
I’m on my second mission and continue to recruit others to do them with me. I love to travel, explore and learn about the world...and I love to run and walk daily for fitness so Conqueror Challenges/virtual missions is the perfect blend. I especially like the street view tool and the postcards. The medals are unique and beautifully designed. The accountability and fitness challenge of each worldly mission is great for motivation (and escapism).
FitBit never connected
I could never get my FitBit to connect. Out of the entire month of January, it performed the synch only once on day 17. You can manually enter the step count, but apparently the calculation/conversion is not “fair” to the others on your team. Not certain if that’s an incompatibility with the FitBit, Mission calculations or critical teammates. Too much fussing with the system. Too little joy of completing a mission. I will not sign up again. Other easier to use and free opinions out there.
I’m loving it
I joined a few months ago and I’m really enjoying this experience. It motivates me to reach my goals everyday. Thanks!
Map Crashes App
When looking at where you are on street view on the map, the app crashes. Repeatedly. This is the best feature for me and I really can’t use it.
Great Concept & bad design
I love the idea of this me and my buddy are really enjoying this and are going to start knocking out some challenges. The app design is AWFUL it’s still stuck on the old size of iPhone. It need updated very soon.
Best Health Jumpstart Ever!
Great features (digital postcards and easy to use app and website), huge elaborate completion medals, fantastic social media groups, short and long challenge options, and awesome customer service reps. I’ve had to contact a couple of times when I wanted to upgrade and add people to my package. Everyone was super helpful and responded in less than 12 hours to my emails each time, and in most cases under 2 hours! Best virtual challenge site out there!
Confusing to connect.
Seems like such a cool thing but it will not connect to my Fitbit.
Motivation
I needed motivation to keep running during this pandemic, found virtual challenges and I’ve finished the English Channel, I’m almost finished the Inca Trail and we have a team from work running the Grand Canyon. Highly recommended
Great... When it Works
The app is usually great, but there are some things that need help. I have a Fitbit linked to the app. All was well, until I got a new phone. Same exact phone as I had before, but now my Fitbit and the app don’t work together. I contacted support, who just told me that there is a small percentage of people who have the same problem. Super helpful. So now, I’m stuck manually inputting my distances every single day. Then there’s the issue with Street View. Sometimes it works, sometimes it kicks me out if I move it, and sometimes it won’t load at all. Again, I contacted support who could only tell me “it’s working on our end”. That’s great for you, but I can guarantee I’m not the only one having issues on the other end. I’ve given up on trying to get help from support, because they never have a fix. These things make me want to never do another challenge with these people. When I’m done with the LEJOG, I’m done. No sense in paying that much for something with a faulty app.
Great idea, but...
I love this idea and for the most part am enjoying the app. It motivates me! BUT - there are two bugs and they can’t seem to get them fixed. I paired this app with my Fitbit - some days the data downloads, some it doesn’t. No consistency. - the street view is an amazing idea - if only it didn't close whenever I try to move the view with the arrows. For what it costs it should be way better. I’ll keep using and 🤞🤞
Absolutely Love the Concept!
This works for me. Nothing else motivates like a little bling reward at the end!!! Nicest medals out there by far!!! Sending you the medal AFTER you complete, versus when you purchase it makes the most sense. I love the app too. It’s interactive, and I’ve learned more about different places then I ever would have thought to look up and learn about. 10 stars rating from me!!! I’m working on number 5!!!
Not consistent or accurate
Tried using this over several weeks. It does not sync accurately or consistently with my Apple Watch/iPhone. Not worth the hassle in the end. Too bad as it’s a great idea.
Great motivation!
I got this app last year and I’ve loved doing my virtual marathons. It is a wonderful way to motivate yourself and the medals are beautifully made, really amazing quality. I’m on my third marathon and I plan on doing more. Was very skeptic at first but so very glad I’m involved now. Well done guys!
Overpriced
I paid $34.45 for what I thought was a premium membership only to find out it was for only ONE challenge. At the end of completing the ONE challenge, I would have had to pay another $23.99 if I wanted to create my own missions or another $34.45 to do ONE more challenge. No thanks. Way overpriced!
Good concept
The concept is good. However the syncing of activity done each day is onerous and not straight forward. The app has not updated my activity for 6 days now, and I cannot get the app to even accept manually entered data. This aspect needs fixing. You spend a lot of money to do these challenges, however it can’t be recorded properly in order to track your progress.

Terribly glitchy
I love the challenge I’ve signed up for and I want to sign up for more, but this companion is practically unusable. It will sporadically stop working, not logging information from my Apple Watch, and get so bad to where I have to uninstall/reinstall. I’ve done this three time and now the app doesn’t want to respond to anything. I really wish they would give this a proper overhaul and have a fully functioning app.
Great app but needs updating
This is a great app and a great way to stay motivated. My only criticism is that it needs to be updated for optimised appearance on larger iPhones. I use and XR and it doesn’t use the whole screen. The user interface would be perfect for an iPhone 8 era device.
Performs poorly
This app supposedly synchs with 3rd party fitness apps, but the admins state it may take 6-10 hrs to synchronize...That benchmark is unacceptable in this millennium since data transfers only take milliseconds.
