I love my counselor we set goals discuss why and there is no pressure to quit, just help to keep my life on track
I was ‘forced’ to use this
It is clunky and I hope others find it more useful than I did. It became one more irritant to keep up with when I was already stressed from quitting.

Okay as an incentive.
This app is ok if you have already established a reliable support system and just want extra incentive. It’s terrible if you’re using it as a stand alone, but they do kind of tell you that up front. Buttons in the app are glitchy. Reward points don’t always go through (especially on weekends). Support feature is not an AI or live chat and it seems typical to go days without a response and/or to not get a response at all.
No way to get past login screen
So I downloaded the app and tried to use it and was met with only a login option and not a create account or anything. There are no options other than “Forgot Password?” and no other way to get in to the app. Something is very wrong here. Can’t give it a fair score because I can’t get in to it to use it.

No end in sight
This problem has no instructions on how to use it, how long it lasts or where the goal line is. It just keeps going around in a circle.
Lack of communication
I was scheduled for a call as part of the incentive program and could not login. I tried to contact them via chat and email to no avail. The resources are great.
Useless
Wouldn’t even let me sign up to begin. Tried 2 different emails and still no joy. I’ve downloaded smoke free and I’ve gone with that.

Horrible app
love the app but..
i hate the fact that it capitalises on people who want to quit smoking. most of the app features are offered as part of a subscription, which is pretty cheap of anybody to do that to people in need.

Can’t change your program
I signed up for an employer incentive. It said on the sign up that you could change your program after you sign up, but I cannot find any way to do that whatsoever. I have never used an opioid in my life, but thanks to a misclick on sign up, this app now insists I have an opioid problem and provides no way to change that.
Good but don’t like the trolls
Love it but why are there people on the chat section saying the app is ‘closing down’ and trying to say to go on another site? Should be an option to report.
Appointments
When we sign up for a phone call, I believed would receive the call. Instead we have to log into the application fill out that we are ready to receive the phone call and if you were five minutes late, forget about it.
Unlock feature
First five minutes on app. Can’t really comment so far but want to unlock a feature so app requires me to write a review.

Unbelievable
I literally just downloaded the app never used anything never talked to a doctor nothing! A month later my insurance was charged $2900 for a “visit” on the day I downloaded the app and I’m expected to pay a co-pay as well. DO NOT USE OR SIGNUP!!!!!!

I agree this app helps if anyone has the mindset that they want to quit. I find the cost of this is too high to be a premium member. I hope the cost of this will be reconsidered to help anyone that struggles with quitting

Lack of options
There is not an option for people that do not use any of these and have not used and of these.
Great idea but need to purchase a subscription.
The free version is basically useless ( can’t even get a sense of whether the paid version is worth it). I’m going to pay for a subscription out of curiosity and maybe I’ll do another review if it’s worthwhile. The free version is a waste of time and will just lead to disappointment and anger when you realise you have put in a bit of effort setting it up and basically got nothing in return.

I wasn’t sure this was going to work but CBT is amazing and I’m glad they use this to help people quit. It’s worth it! Although I gave this app only 2 stars was that I was passed on to at least 3 coaches which didn’t help my journey to quit……
Stop the intro audio playback
Once is enough the app launches the intro audio again and again and it’s really annoying to listen to especially as you can’t switch it off

I love the features of this app they have a lot of helpful tools to help you track your progress and maintain your goals right within the app platform itself. I love being able to chat with my counselor as well as video calling them for our appointments. She is knowledgeable and I learned a lot when in our sessions. I definitely recommend.
Hope Lost Completely
This app once was called No Butts… and it was Free! And it gave me hope that one day, and against great mental health odds, that despite what numerous doctors were saying, that I was going to be able to quit smoking. HOPE WAS ALIVE! But now, with the changes made to the app, Hope is Again Lost. It’s such a shame because I had promising feelings from the No Butts app, it just wasn’t the right time to face such a challenge due to a hostile work environment, a relationship with a diagnosed sociopath, a world altering injury…. Yeah…. I just wish quitting could not be impossible for me. I thought this app held the answer… but alas…. Unless you are in their magical network, it isn’t going to happen.
Just what I’ve been looking for
I’ve tried to give up smoking about 4 times over the years and only managed 6 months at most but since I’ve been using this app I’m very positive about the future as a non-smoker
Why so expensive
I want to quit in a healthy manner and use skills to help me there, this app requires me to pay for any of the services it offers and this is really frustrating as it looks like the perfect thing to help me and as a student I don’t have the money to afford to pay this kind of thing. I don’t know why anyone who wants to help people need to make such a financial gain...

Made an appointment only to have it canceled. If the provider did not have office hours that day, why have ability to book appointments?

Seems to be a good app, but it’s a bit pricy and looks like it tricks you into using it by playing off your addiction and being replaced by this. I hope it works, but it’s pricy
Using this app is stressful!
Trying to change my settings (it has me as having smoked 0 cigarettes a day) is stressful - I can’t figure out how to do it. Tested out every tab and everywhere it’s trying to get me to do things and buy things.

i am enjoying quit genius so far! the gentle voice of the guy who reads out the tips and cbt stuff is really helpful, makes me feel calm rather than stressed, and i like that they don’t suggest going cold turkey bc i was a bit scared about that

Keeps Crashing
App is constantly crashing for days and there is no where to report it or contact for a work around. Very confusing on when your complete or when more course are required.

The app is definitely keeping me distracted. I like the prompts to think about the journey that got you started smoking. I’m not sure if I will keep renewing the subscription though.
Nice, but buggy
The app is pretty nice and with the “personalised” quitting plan most probably quite useful. However, I wanted to use the app to track my actual smoking behaviour but whenever I add a new cigarette, the previous log gets double. If the app shows three cigarettes when I smoked just two, it’s not very useful. When this bug is solved the app may become more relevant for me.

Im pretty sure some people could quit using this but personally I would pay 100$ to have an app I will use twice in my non smoker journey. I stopped 2 months ago and wanted to see how this “mirace app” works but honestly this is just not for me, I will continu too not smoke on my own. I used champix for the two first weeks and then I continued on my own and I works really well for anyone who wants to stop smoking !

Even if your goal isn’t 100% sobriety, using this app to track behavior is invaluable.
The dumbest app ever
So my employer wants to charge $75 per month for being a smoker towards insurance and they’ve contracted this dumb app/company to conduct a cessation/quitting program. This apps process is ridiculously convoluted and requirements are buried so deep you’d need a shovel to find and comply with them. And a requirement is to message a coach 5 different weeks and only vaguely reference how to do that. Then when they do, it just states the “coach tab is how to contact the coach”. Problem is there’s no coach tab. If the people who are creating this app are the future, WE ARE SCREWED!!

I purchased the silver upgrade which said it would unlock all the levels. I completed the daily tasks fully and re did them and it won’t let me continue just keeps telling me to upgrade. Any time I try to restore my purchase it just keeps loading. Very frustrating
More focus on retention post purchase
Reminds you to engage frequently if you haven’t purchased. Once you pay the reminders stop. Which gives one the impression that the focus is on conversion vs assisting.
