Love to play fantasy football
Terrible user experience
I had to update my iOS so I could download and use another app, and as part of this iOS update my cbs sports app was also updated and let me tell you- it’s a terrible downgrade from the previous version. You can’t read the scores beneath the new awful dark colors and none of the original nav is in the same place and is now much harder to find. Who reviewed and signed off on this garbage?
Go-to fantasy app
Easy to use, has almost all the same functionality as the desktop version. Thank goodness they junked that lousy new logo.
Can’t mock/practice draft on this version
I like the new look of the app, however the mock draft feature is gone and can only be accessed on the desktop version. We have had a league for over 12 years now but this may make us go to the ESPN fantasy league. Please tell me that feature will be brought back!
New interface needs some work
The new font for numbers in Matchup makes my eyes bleed. Please revert back to whatever it was like a week ago. Also the scoring preview is still gone. Why?
Mock draft
Since the update haven’t found a way to run mock drafts through the app. Is there a way or did they just stop doing that . Incredibly frustrating after the host on the podcast keep beefing about it . I’ll keep the review a 5 star for now
Experience Destroyed
It’s unfortunate whomever was hired to improve the app achieved the poorest level of execution possible. The new CBS Sports app has a very poor UI and wasn’t developed with the user in mind.
New app is solid
But you need to add trade block editing back into this app like the old one had , otherwise I’m a big fan of it
Don’t love the update
Flashy new update, less user friendly, it’s not easy to check the other matchups of your league mates. It doesn’t seem very functional for managing my team in season other than to set the lineup. I’ll probably be stuck using the website until I can talk the commish into switching platforms.
Missing a critical feature
The new version of the app is better than the old one in a lot of ways. However, it’s missing a feature that makes me wish I could go back to the old app: live chat. Our league uses this feature CONSTANTLY. Now, we’re limited to the web version. Please, I’m begging you, add the live chat feature that was in the old app to the new app!
1st Time Rating
Overall Show is fantastic, Scott, Chris and are GREAT along with the HOST. EVERYONE does an excellent Job! Have listened to 3 or 4 BB podcasts in the last 6 + yrs…some will know platforms. The last 3/4 yrs all CBS. Made playoffs the last 4 years in our 14 team league and won last year. Wish you guys could cover FB too.
No mock drafts
Worst app in fantasy sports, and no mock drafts available on the app, absolutely horrible. This interface is a complete mess especially compared to NFL, Yahoo and Espn fantasy apps.
Why change it?
This app was fine until it removed daily totals for fantasy baseball. PLEASE add it back so I know my team’s total scoring in real time.
New update stinks
The latest update is horrible. It looks like a high school kid did it 20 years ago. Any no mock draft anymore?
New update is terrible
Fantasy baseball was so easy to use and navigate but now I’m constantly searching for just the basics. Hate it! Update: Have found my way around a bit more but there was no reason to change it. Just doesn’t flow well.
Keepers League Auction Values
My keeper league has some interesting rules. Standard cbs roto (2C, CI, MI etc), 14 teams with 13 keepers. We allow a player to be “kept” through 2 league drafts by adding $3 to their salary. For example, since he was a $1 player last year, I get to protect Ben Rice for $4 this year. I really like the rules but because they’re are so many bargains (Skenes would be protected for final time at $6 as an example), it tends to push up the value of stars. Players like Ohtani and Witt tend to go between $70-$80. How would treat keeper values ($) in leagues with rules like this.
New app sucks
Bring back the old layout. Can’t find anything on this app? Where is the league home??
Getting better compared to the Old Version
Update: The issue with daily totals is fixed and new functionality shows who is active and where they are in the lineup, which is nice. My last requests are to make the font of the stats a little larger and make player news searchable by fantasy team. Otherwise the app is improved but not 5 stars yet. Original: I’ve used this app for many years for my fantasy baseball team and league. I’ve given the new version some time, and it is so much worse than the older version. I like that it does show if your players are starting or not, and where they are batting. The two biggest drawbacks are that there are no daily totals for batting or pitching stats. And the individual player stats are the smallest part on the page… It is very difficult to see. Player stats are the most important thing and totals for the day are also equally important for fantasy, so these two items lacking have really made this app almost unusable. I hope they will change this or create a new version that makes daily stats and daily totals easier to see in the app.
Ads ads and more Ads
We pay over $100 a year to use this app for our dynasty Fantasy Football league. Yet CBS thinks it’s OK to have advertising take up a third of the all the time. Corporate greed!!

Ruined
The new update is hot garbage! We have used CBS for fantasy football for over 20 years and it was both simple to use and also extremely detailed. Not anymore. Why would they change it? Bring back the old app!!!!

They popped it onscreen so many times I finally had to write this review just so it stops popping up. It's a good app though. Minus one star due to star harassment.
Mock drafts gone from app
How dose a fantasy site take away mock drafts from the mobile phone! What a joke that you have to use a desk top just to do a mock draft. Bring back mock drafts to the app
The videos doesn’t run

Would like to see depth charts by position for each nfl team, but showing which player is a free agent in my fantasy league.

Love the all but missing having the widget after updating to iOS 18. Apple turned off legacy widgets so it doesn’t work anymore

It looks like this program was created by a bunch of developers with no idea how to play fantasy football and with no overall design and no feedback from users.

Good having all the sports in just one app
Bad Update
This new update shot for style over functionality and failed at both. Apparently they corrected the daily stats for baseball but not football. Why? Apparently they removed optimize roster. Why? It is a pain to see both weekly games and it is not projecting scores. Why? Overall, you ruined a perfectly good app by giving it to a designer intern.

CBS Sports Fantasy Hockey App
It works great. However, it is frustrating that the same abilities are NOT afforded on the app as the website. Let me explain, on the App, you cannot search players using “My Leagues” specific stats. You can only look up players based on the “standard” stat set. Also, I should be able to search Players based on “which teams are playing tonight, or tomorrow. My league allows “add and drops” but it’s very difficult to look up players playing tonight, and it’s even more difficult to look up players playing tonight and hone your search down to our specific stat set. To accomplish this through the CBS website I need to have one other source open for player searches, on the App in need to have two other sources open ( Sports App) to see who’s playing. It’s way to many steps. And it’s been like this for years. I still love CBS for my hockey and fantasy football leagues but I get bombarded with requests from the owners in my hockey league to move our league to other places. Like FanTrax… So far I’ve stayed put. But I’m looking elsewhere.

Paying for membership but still plastering ads that block your view
This app is terrible! They keep updating it. Every time they update it more and more ads are plastered all over the screen where we need to click etc. We are paying to use their league but are forced to use this app that is plagued with ads! Would rather use a free league than stay with cbs!!

L’application ferme tout seul quand je clic my team ou add drop par exemple……. Je supprime l’App et la telecharge à nouveau , ça fonctionne bien a cour terme et ça recommence.
