I like that you can do many different sports and that you can trade however the thing I don’t like is that there is a trade deadline, anyway 4 stars
Lack of improvement
The Yahoo Fantasy Football app has barely improved in years. The core experience feels almost identical to what it was a decade ago, while basic quality-of-life features are still missing. Mock drafts are a perfect example. Why is there no simple button to collapse or hide the full draft results/board? If you’re drafting late and want to look at your roster, available players, or other information, you can end up scrolling forever through dozens of picks. It’s incredibly clunky and should have been fixed years ago. Yahoo Fantasy has a great user base and a solid foundation, but the app desperately needs meaningful UX improvements instead of essentially recycling the same experience every season. Please actually invest in improving the product and fix basic issues like this immediately.

If you join a league the league stays for the rest of time (no way to remove) very annoying.
They don’t allow you to remove a league unless the commissioner does so. After a couple years on the app you could easily have 5-6 teams clogging up your menu because they don’t allow you to delete pr removes them. It has been an issue for years that they won’t fix.

Can’t select most / fewest points scored in Pickem leagues without app crashing.

As a visually impaired user of Yahoo Fantasy, plus I made the upgrade thinking I would get better access, but it’s not accessible at all compared to the downgraded version.

Where do I begin
Each year this app has gotten worse and worse, from the unnecessary changes, to the apps performance and constant crashes. Definitely will be cancelling my yahoo plus subscription that I pay $100 for every year
Very accessible way to play fantasy football
Really like how easy it is to pick the team and see player stats. Much better than season long fantasy as you get a chance to reset every weekend. Cash prizes are exciting but haven't got close to winning...yet! Points for improvement might be that the app doesn't have much in the way of graphics/imagery. Also it's got a lot of links to the US sports, and the premier league element is only a small part.

Can’t mock draft without the app crashing before entering right when the timer goes down

the app is pretty great but when you want to check your pitchers ou someones lineup during the whole week, you have to choose the day and scroll all the way down and then scroll all the way up change the date and repeat for all the week. This is really annoying.

Death by Clicking Marathon
The player search, sorting, and filtering functions require excessive clicking. This inefficient interface demonstrates either a total lack of fundamental UX/UI design knowledge or a complete disregard for user convenience and platform usability.

Yahoo should allow for leagues to all year like other fantasy platforms. Sleeper, for example, allows for offseason trading.

Not Even Worth It
This app is dated and amateurish. I moved my league to Sleeper, which is way better than Yahoo. It’s a shame. I used to like Yahoo.

But you'll need the website for decent stats if you want to move personnel in and out. I use it a lot so it can't be bad.
Mock Drafts are an absolute headache!
It takes way too long to find a mock draft lobby at a specific draft position. There are many better options out there for mock drafts. Yahoo’s “experts” are wildly different from other sites so if you play in a league on Yahoo, other sites aren’t a good option for gaining insight on expectations for draft day.
To be honest, I’m not impressed
Slow to update ranks (especially during playoffs) and that’s unacceptable for fantasy sports where a lot of people may use it as a reference for decision making. I’m also logged in my account but I can’t comment in chats and/or like/dislike comments. I have left numerous feedback tickets to Yahoo and only thing you receive back is a general email response and then nothing ever changes. If you don’t care about any of these, you’ll be fine then.

Unless I’m missing it I’d say having a league chat with the teams you are playing would be nice. I’ve sent trade offers & had zero response and this year.

Horrible Fantasy app
It automatically added me to a baseball draft that I did not add myself to. I guess when I went and clicked on my hockey league. An add popped up for baseball draft the second I clicked on my league. It automatically added me to league. And can’t get out of it. We are changing platforms next year due to this being an issue among other things.

Yahoo is the hands down the best at fantasy sports! MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA... they got you covered. Live in game dates have kept me in action for years and they are only getting better with every passing season. Member since 2001.... and not going anywhere! Cheers! Thanks guys!

Removing the start active player button for the week will kill your supporter base all this for a few dollars a month. See you later, going to fan Trax next season

Good for Yahoo leagues
Very easy to use, handy tool. Has good analysis for your players and is easy to change lineups and track scores. Only negative is the lack of matchup rating analysis, which is the key tool for me. But all told its a good app.
Why so many notifications!?
Why would you think anyone wants multiple notifications in a day from an app??
It just keeps going downhill…
Edit: To Yahoo’s credit, they’ve now restored the ability to “set active players” for the week. Unfortunately, we’re still stuck with the other usability regressions that I mentioned. After the major regressions that came with last year’s refreshed UI, Yahoo has doubled down by becoming increasingly aggressive with which features they put behind a paywall. Requiring people to pay just so that they can easily set active players for the week is lunacy. Advanced insights/stats, any “AI” features etc I could see the justification for, but literally taking away features to artificially create inconvenience for unsubscribed users is a dirty trick. Will be looking into different platforms for future season.

The pro football pick em screen has been destroyed. When I click bottom left to choose Team then select pro football pick em it takes me to the web page and tells me that "coming soon: improved..." can I not just have what I had last week? Survivor game screen has been redesigned. It's not terrible but it's not particularly clear.
