Worst App I Have Ever Used
Updated 8/24/26 - App continues to not save lineups after submitting them! Congrats Fantrax for continuing to be garbage! Original: This may be the WORST fantasy app I have ever used. It is absolutely useless. Today, I set my lineup, confirmed it. Closed app, reopened it, the changes were made. I came back tonight to check the scores and none of my lineup changes saved. This is the 4th time this has happened and still has not been fixed. DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR FANTASY USE LITERALLY ANY OTHER APP Update to respond: Or make an app that actually works? Going contacting you all AFTER lineups are set aren’t going to help. Piss poor app
Everything with an asterisk
This is the only platform for dynasty sports. Great depth. Just figuring out the UI is a serious learning curve. Also the commish UI is even tougher. But after a few flops, you will find your way. Just patience. It’s all we got
What a great time for the competition!
Results have been completely mismanaged by Fantrax for our league… with no explanation, results were misrepresented for weeks… The advice columns are loaded up, but back-dated… not cool if you ever want to drop your other more reliable sources regarding line up analysis…zero minor league stats… and full page articles featuring one player… great for the one person in every league that has that one player… writing to an audience of one, lol.
Player notifications
Why is there no notification when the status of a player in your starting line up changes before kickoff?
SO HELPFUL
The team was incredible helping me and my league mates!
Constantly blacking out and crashing.
I can’t even make a transaction without the app blacking out the screen and having to start over I’ve done everything to try to fix this
Great App
I started using Fantrax and last year for me and my pals annual draft, the customisation element of the site is fantastic, 1 thing i would comment on is it would be useful if there were some useful help videos as when I first set up the league it was a bit confusing. The app is really easy to use, again one thing I would request is when searching for players is that you have an option of by club. Overall Great app and will definitely be using it again next season.
Fantasy Baseball Layout
I love Fantrax typically and have used it for many fantasy sports. The new baseball layout when looking at your teams is atrocious. They stuck a new rank number system that looks terrible in front of every player on your squad and keeps me from seeing the stats I want to see. Get rid of it it’s awful
Solid but mobile app is clunky
Mobile app glitches, hard to navigate - def a computer browser only recommended IMO
Helpful customer support
Editing your league in-season is always met with great customer support!
Intrusive ads break the app
Update: Just got a scam ad telling me that my phone is being wiretapped and prompting me to run a test. The type of ads being allowed on Fantrax is dangerous. I don’t mind if you need ads to support your free service but these ads are so poorly optimized that they literally break the app. Full page ads cover the tabs at the bottom and after you exit the ad the tabs become inaccessible so you are forced to restart the app. Video ads take over the whole screen even when you swipe them away. Again the only fix is to restart the app. If you want ads then include them in a banner at the top or bottom of the screen, because these intrusive ads have me thinking about moving my leagues to another service next season.
Best fantasy app for fantasy hockey
Excellent app, hugely customizable. Ranking 4 stars because the learning curve is way too steep and off putting at first. Also I hate seeing ads on an app I pay for
Could do better
Sitting here waiting for yet another update. Watching it for more than 10 min do nothing but spin. Have tried to submit this review using several nicknames can’t do that either
Great site and incredible support
Site is definitely a handful at first and takes some getting used to but it’s pretty awesome and leagues are very customizable once you get the hang of it. Had an issue with our league format as well after the season started so had to contact support to get it fixed and they gave me a lengthy email reply that was awesome and was able to fix my issue within 48 hours.
Unusable off WiFi
The app is completely unusable off of wifi and has been for years now. Bonkers considering the % they take.
Great App Not Perfect
App is a little overwhelming initially, but once you explore the app it becomes quite easy to figure out. UI is fantastic and the level of detail provided on each play is fantastic. It can be finicky at times, but runs smoothly for the most part. Would recommend!
Ads are ridiculous
We paid the full fee for this platform and they want a separate fee to remove ads. Quite the poke in the eye and makes yahoo suddenly not seem so bad.
Excellent Commissioner Support
Fantrax is easily the best platform I’ve used for running a custom fantasy league. The commissioner settings are incredibly detailed, and when I had an issue with our playoff setup, support helped me get it fixed quickly. If you want full control over your league instead of being limited to basic settings, Fantrax is hard to beat.
Update, update, update
App is ok when working. Constant update issues and slow processing just pile up frustration for users. Becomes a running joke in leagues.
Great flexibility to play by your own rules
Fantrax continues to offer the most versatile fantasy basketball experience around, app could use some tweaking to run as smoothly and be as user friendly as some of the bigger names though
The best 👏
I have been using Fantrax for 6 years now, I run 5 30T baseball leagues, 2 32T football leagues, 1 32T Hockey league, 1 30T Basketball league. Thru out the 6 years I have had several times to use the support team, and I have been very pleased, the Fantrax system with all the Fantasy sports is the total best. They can’t be beat in dynasty leagues that is all of my leagues. The best support team, the best system In fantasy sports in my opinion, and I will be adding new leagues just about every year. Fantrax treasury is also the best system for money leagues which that is all I run. My rating 100/100 I will be here with leagues for years to come. Thank You Fantrax for your support and keeping the Fantasy sports community well kept as pleased. Roger ( Heybata ).
Too many updates
Constant updates too many notifications to update figure it out already
Great
No real problems with the app apart from one occasion when it seemed the whole company had an issue. App is easy to use and the game itself is very fun.
Perfect Dynasty Sports App
Been using this app for years to run all my dynasty leagues - easy navigation, clean layout and Support Team is always quick to help with any issues. Highly recommend!
Bad
Apps terrible, half the stats the desktop version offer but wait the desktop version crashed more often than not. This is a very very poorly ran fantasy sports app that sadly I’m forced to used due to the lack of platforms that offer fantasy EPL. Fantrax being Canadian also isn’t very helpful as when contacting customer support all they want to know is, how’s the maple syrup? And do we have Mounties? - again the worst ran fantasy sports app.
Best Customization and Customer Service
I’ve used Fantrax for a couple of years now for our fantasy baseball league. All the other free sites were pretty restrictive in terms of how you could customize your league, and they were very built for football and not baseball, so I never liked the layout on those sites either. But Fantrax even in just the free version has a ton of customization and functionality, to the point that it feels like they’ve thought of every scenario you might want to tweak. But the impetus for the review is how pleased I was by their customer service. There was a strange error where our playoffs were not set up the way I had originally dictated, and it wasn’t letting me change it post draft. I emailed support expecting to get a response that I was SOL, but within 24 hours they just adjusted it without any questions. I was thrilled. Definitely going to keep using Fantrax for years to come for this league.
Baseball is not real user friendly
Probably the most frustrating fantasy app I’ve ever used. Confusing, counterintuitive, and bulky. Setting your lineup is simple! But thats really it. Finding daily stats and understanding the scoring from your lineup screen would be nice. During the draft you cant research a player and have the draft board stay up to date.
What a great app
This app is way better than all the other fantasy apps I’ve used. It has a cleaner layout and is very easy to use unlike other apps. I think this is easily the best Fantasy app out there!
So many bugs
So close to a really great app for fantasy sports but don’t worry instead of fixing the issues they opt’d to give you a chance to get rid of advertisements for anywhere from 6 months to 5 years…. What a joke… the worst part is… they make us pay for fantrax premium for every league I am in and I still get ads on the screen. YIKES
Amazing service
This group is fantastic! Full customization and “easy to work with” support system to resolve anything that comes up. Nothing that can’t be undone, fixed, or set up to be exactly how you want it. Love everything about it!
1 star - new update is bad
Great app before the update, now I can’t even exit out of a players name and go back to my roster since they messed with the screen size in the new update. CHANGE ASAP PLS
