Career Changer
This app has helped me elevate in my career! Idk what I would do without it.
A scam
A few weeks ago, I signed up for a free trial of this app to see if it would be useful for me. After trying it, I realized that it did not provide anything significantly different from other apps that offer similar services for free, so I decided I did not want to continue with the subscription. I was under the impression that I would receive a notification or reminder before the free trial ended and before I was charged, but I never received one. I was then unexpectedly charged $200 for a subscription that I did not intend to keep and have not been using. I tried contacting customer service, but unfortunately, there does not seem to be an effective way to speak with someone directly. I also emailed the company explaining the situation and requesting a refund, but they refused to return my money. This has been extremely frustrating. $200 is a significant amount of money, especially for a service that I did not intend to continue using and have not been using. I made an effort to address the issue as soon as I became aware of the charge. I am respectfully requesting that this charge be reviewed and that the $200 be refunded. I did not knowingly intend to continue with the paid subscription, and I would greatly appreciate a fair resolution to this situation.
Works Well
Does what it says just slow on getting access to minutes after they are transcribed
Don’t use this for important meetings
For some reason this app chooses when it wants to work. I have had several meetings where the recordings and transcripts have failed to save and I would not suggest this for professional use.
Removed copy option
I use this app almost daily and have for about a year. Recently the Copy option has disappeared. I used to copy the transcript right into my Claude app and can no longer do that. Sure I can send it directly to a new Claude thread, but I can’t copy into the thread that *I* want.
Cup
Great App. I use it a lot instead of writing my notes. That way I can go back and check.
Horrible Experience
This app could be great. However, the constant bugs make it unusable and a waste of money. I’ve given this app too many chances over the last year that I’ve used it. There are better options.
Good but $$$
I think it's pretty accurate however $100/yr is pretty steep. I would love to do a subscription but I honestly don't want to invest that much, with all the competitive apps out there, I would think that the price would be more inviting
Regressed in Quality
It used to give me beautiful pages of minutes for 2.5 hour meetings. Now it’s condensed into 1.5 pages that’s missing a ton of key details. They pushed an update at some point that made everything worse. Also, you have to record longer meetings on voice memos, then import it (often times using a secondary app to compress the file) because if the app closes or your phone locks during the meeting, it loses everything.
Not so good anymore..
I’ve used Minutes for 2 years+. This will likely be my final year. The desktop version was updated but it’s also not that great. The quality has really changed. There are recordings I KNOW I recorded and processed that are gone. Not in the new storage feature either. Whatever update they recently did really ruined the quality. Sad to say after all this time.
Love it but
Would love to read notes while also recording to help answer questions during meetings about previous meetings.
Don’t waste your money!
This app sucks! Overrated does not perform as advertised period. Transcription very poor! DO. Or recommend.
Love this
Also want to be able to edit more!
BEEARE Recoded Meeting Dropped, NO MINUTES -better have a backup plan
Recorded meeting using this app on my iPad. Went to transcribe and it does endless circles saying it is 100% complete. Circles don’t stop. Finally have to X out and recording disappears. Have used probably 6 times to record meetings. Twice the app has failed me. False security not worth paying for.
Maybe this is a mistake but…
I was just asking for a free trial and then 3.99 just went out my pocket right after. I don’t know if that was on the fine-print, but still, I thought a free trial was a FREE trial. But other than that, the app is nice overall. R.I.P my 3.99 tho
Obsessed
This has saved my life with work meetings, and now I’m going to use it for college lectures, I hope it makes college easier 😭
Didn’t work
I recorded a long meeting from my watch, and it never came over to the app. I chose “find lost recording” and downloaded the file, and it won’t play. Don’t waste your time
Improve ability to use multiple apps simultaneously without crashing
The app is excellent and works great. But I have a request/suggestion for the developers: if I'm recording audio and I open another app and then return to this one, please make sure that the recording continues and the app doesn't close. I lost 2 hours of lectures with important information because I had to send an important email, go to the planner, and when I went back, the app just reopened and the 2 hours of recording were gone. And after I started recording again, the rest of the lecture, at the end when I clicked "transcribe," and it gave me "transcription failed." As a result, I lost the entire lecture for the day and nothing was saved! And I was really upset.
Beware
Tried the 7 day free trial. Used it once for a meeting and the app was ok and easy to use. Went camping and attempted to cancel before the trial ended. But due to my location I did not have good signal and the Apps app kept spinning. I was a day late on the 7 day trial and cancelled right away. Explained I was outside service and still no refund. I guess just make sure if you’re going to cancel do it right away.
Functionality
The app is good but there are times we are jumping off to so many other assignments. We can forget to save the recording then the app do not auto-save or put the recordings into an archive for an option to transcribe and summarize meeting. I’ve lost so many recordings like this…. If it’s on pause for too long or if the app stays on my iPad background. This glitch should be updated
Love It!
This app does everything I need when it comes to taking notes and minutes of meetings. I’ve tried other apps and this app is the best.
Do not use
I was charged for my “free” trail. It’s garbage.
Idk
It takes good notes and doesn’t take to long to generate.
Not Reliable
The app crashes unexpectedly. After I finish a recording and try to transcribe it in the app, I get an error message saying the transcription can’t be completed. As a result, I’m unable to transcribe the recording at all.
Deleted recordings
The claims to record in the background, however if you paused that app and go onto another app, it would delete your recording. Lost nearly 2 hours worth of recordings and no way to get it back
Best app for notes taking
Best app for notes taking, this app helped me in acing my exams
FRAUDULENT
This company misrepresented that I had a free 7 day trial but charged me over $100 the minute I downloaded the app. I asked for a refund and they denied it with no explanation. Wow.
Good app
It’s very helpful
It's ok
It's okay for continuous use. But if you pause or your phone dies in a meeting it doesn't save what was recorded. I had 2% left still used my phone to record because I assumed it would save and it didn't save anything.
Can’t cancel App
This is a great app as long as you never want to cancel! There is an option in the app to cancel, but it won’t let you cancel. It will say “no subscription” and then it will just reappear! I tried to reach out to the developer and they won’t assist.
Good
Good notes, definitely recommend
It’s a Ripoff!
Not worth it and it automatically renews so make sure you cancel subscription ahead of time! I asked for a refund barely 3 minutes when it renewed on the same day and didn’t get any even though it was filed within minutes! Expensive renewal and a total waste of money!
Instructions
I used it for the first time yesterday. It worked really well but I’d like to see some instructions somewhere so that I can get ‘the speaker’ identified.
Great, when it works
Transcription changes language randomly when left on auto. Some audios get stuck on processing audio and are practically not available. And sometimes the LLM is conveniently wrong. It interprets a full AUDI presentation into silence for example. So good when it works but sadly a lot of times it won’t. That’s a complete no go for a software you need to just work when the presentation is done only once.
Hoa meeting
I would really like to see the app to understand which speaker is which. Maybe the speakers need to be a bit clearer also. Overall I think this will be a solid app
Lifesaver
Using the mins app that made me more efficient
App only works for a short time
The Minutes app just decided it would no longer be transcribing notes from my recordings. I can’t even retrieve the recording or transcript.
Great App But Needs Search Function
Needs a search function so I can quickly pull up notes. Rather than constantly trying to go back and find them.
Minutes to allow edits
It’s so lovely to see the transcripts but would love a feature to be able to directly edit some of the wordings that AI couldn’t pick up correctly that could be related to organization jargons, abbreviations or terms. Without editing directly the minutes won’t be entirely correct.
Be careful: 99 dollars charged automatically.
Be very careful before subscribing. The app offers both monthly and annual plans, but I was charged $99.99 for an annual subscription that I did not intend to purchase. I did not use the app at all, yet both Apple and the developer declined to provide a refund. If you have prepaid App Store balance, the charge may be taken from that balance and may not be eligible for refund. Please double-check the subscription plan carefully before confirming payment.
Best ever
Seriously impressed with the quality of this! It recorded a speaker, OUTSIDE, in severe winds and loud external noises, nearly perfectly!!
200 MB file size limit
Useless, can’t upload files larger than 200 megabytes.
App Not Opening
I have been using this app for months now and paying to use it and now the app won’t open and I can’t review my notes. The app just opens to a blue dot and nothing else happens. I need support
Impressive
This app took the minutes to a meeting for me and I must say, AI is going to take all of our jobs lol
Terrible
This app is terrible, it lost my recordings and when I went to cancel, I still owe for the year even though it’s a useless app
Could’ve been great
the app itself is amazing. the concept is great but you can only record once with the free version and then it harasses you to pay for the full version.
