No longer functioning
Two days ago I purchased an iXpand Go drive (128 Gigs) And it worked fine for several hours UNTIL the drive stopped showing up in the app. It literally stopped working WHILE plugged into my device. It showed up fine on a relative’s PC but even after cleaning my iPad AND iPhone’s port, it refuses to show up. Fix your software.

New app doesn’t work
I had the old SANDISK app and it worked for years with zero issues. You force everyone to use this new app and now my drives will not work at all even brand new drives. I’ve gone from a reliable way to back up my phone to paper weights. This app is terrible and I am reconsidering my use of any SANDISK products because of the way you’ve handled this forced upgrade to a worse app.

UI needs a total revamp. Hard to navigate and even harder to second guess what actions work and what don’t. Cannot recommend this product.
Laggy but it works
I bought this product to get photos off of my old dinosaur laptop that can’t even get online anymore. It’s serving it purpose well with little effort in transferring files. However in trying to text directly from the app it is very laggy & I’ve had to close it out & restart several times. Would I buy it again… absolutely!! I thought I was going to be stuck rescanning all of my old photos into my newer pc. Grateful I’m not. But it is a bit annoying though.

The issues I've seen thus far with the disk drive, u can't plug in to the tower without some adapter, the second is for some reason the drive won't plug smoothly into me android. I'm really bad a remembering passwords and with phishermen I was looking for a quick plug and play.

Please add a simple file manager feature
Why the developer didn’t add a file name search and a simple duplicate file cleaner feature that helps to manage files. Why?
Should allow transfers of pdf files easier without extra steps
Works great for pictures but should allow for easier transfers of pdf files without restrictions . It is frustrating since I depend on my iPhone to be able to scan documents for my wife’s doctor and wish SANDISK would make it a bit easier.
not support all Creators product
It’s not support creative usb-C flash drive but work on SSD.
Speed
It’s a bit slower than the previous version,which was MUCH more user friendly but I’m getting used to it.

Worthless and invasive.
If I am saving a video file from my flash drive to my tablet, why does SANDISK want access to my contact list? My contacts have NOTHING to do with my files. This is a privacy overreach if there ever was one. SANDISK has gone downhill in recent years, never buying another of their products again.

The app is great! But I’d like to be able to select multiple photos at once instead of saving them individually, so it’s more time-efficient!

Previous one was easy to use. But I think this app is made to frustrate the user. Doesn't even show the main photos/videos. Rubbish

Copies photos from iPad Air (M4) to SanDisk
I had previously used a SanDisk with different connection ports on a much older iPadAir2. My new Type-C to Type-A works similarly.
This doesn’t free up storage
I got this because my phone has no storage and I wanted to free some up. It got a flash drive with 128 GB. For starters, I needed to download this app to use the drive. When ever I would transfer stuff to said drive using the app, I would never get the option to delete the stuff I had transferred. It’d only give me the option to look at stuff that was transferred, and the stuff it skipped. There is not spot in said app (that I could find at least) that would have everything that’s transferred to the drive that I can use to delete off of my phone. I thought this would be an easy fix to clear up more storage. Nope! I couldn’t find anything else online that would show how to delete stuff except for after you transferred stuff. It never gave me the option so oh well I guess 😒

Cannot backup files and others on iPhone
Wasted money to buy this product. Only can access backup photo, video and contact, cannot backup files and other files on iPhone.

Terrible! Bring back the old ixpand drive app
This app is extremely limited. It doesn’t let you explore through all folders and files in your flash drive (like the old ixpand drive app would). It’s just a dumbed down version only to backup media files to/from the flash drive. Too bad.
Password Protection
Should add password protection for the drive to maintain the privacy

Lightning
Okay I’ve purchase I expand flag drive with a lightning port. Last few weeks it was working and has no compatibility issues. But now the app doesn’t detect my usb flash drive. I think your app needs tweaking. It’s unacceptable that your app doesn’t recognise my usb.

Old app Ixpand is much better than this
Old Ixpand app is very easy to transfer files from IPhone to Ixpand drive, date wise file transfer , date wise delete,… this app has flaws to transfer files. After transferring files this sandisk app , we have to keep watching till end files transfer to delete files from Phone, else the pop up window closes in seconds. Then we need to delete files from phone manually.
Why can you not allow deleting for more than 2 seconds!!
I think the app is ok, but it could be better, you could add actual options when dealing with photos and files. You only allow copied photos to be deleted from the phone for about 2 seconds, just at it finishes being copied you see “delete from phone” if your not quick you won’t be able to do anything after it goes away. Why would you do that? Makes zero sense. I am stuck with this because I don’t have time for other options. I hope you add the ability to do other things in this app on a next update. Very frustrating to do it one at a time after the fact.

Ordinary Photo contacts
Where ? what company? Is going to make a mobile phone external 256 GB or 500 GB storage device that is going to offer to save files, documents, pages, and voice memos. Without live support, this item is useless to me. Any external drive can copy photos in contacts. Where is the product that can actually save pages files documents and Voice meMos!!!
Backups
I wish there was a way to see the photos that are backed up to the ones that still have to be backed up because how will I know if I don’t back it up twice or not, but besides that great app so far

Required Move option instead of copy for backup and skip option while copying same file twice

Much like the desktop version of this app its almost completely garbage. It does not detect a sandisk drive connected directly to an ipad. Useless

The earlier app was way better
In the earlier app i was able to select the photos only i want ti back up. This app is ridiculous, like seriously? Why wouldn’t you let me choose my own photos which i want to back up. Earlier app was may better abd way easy to use.
Absence of Swipe to select photos/ files feature
The new version has removed the ability to select photos and files by swiping, which makes it extremely inconvenient. Earlier, it was very easy to select multiple items at once through swipe, but now I have to select each file one by one, which is time-consuming and frustrating—especially when copying or managing bulk photos/files. This swipe-to-select feature is very essential, and its absence has made the app less user-friendly compared to the previous version. Please bring back this feature or fix it at the earliest.
