Amazing app but…..
It’s amazing over all but I have two requests. 1. Please make it available offline 🙏.2. Please make the dogs look more realistic And make them less scary looking.but at the end of the day it's an amazing game I recommend it if your obsessed with dogs. No hate to the creator of the game. I love the game it’s so cute I thought that I didn’t like dogs but now I’m obsessed with dogs and I love the fact that you can train them and you should check out this game too!

The game is essentially a means of feeding you ads. Disgusting behavior. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star is because it would actually be a cute and fun game if it wasn’t for all of the forced ads!!

Cropped ears
I don’t know why yall done away with the cropped or pointy Doberman ears but that ruined it for me they look so much better with the ears up and if someone made a complaint about it and that’s why I mean at least give us the option for cropped ears or regular for the Dobermans and boxers please
New update or glitch?
So a few days ago I was playing Pocket Paws and then as soon as I went into a training session I realised that it wouldn’t let me click on anything to help the dogs (Eg.Tapping,Scrubbing) and it’s getting annoying.I keep on getting greats instead of perfects now and it’s making me very bad at competitions and I can’t win a German Shepherd 😭!If this is a new update then PLEASE change it back because I think a lot of people miss this feature!🐶

I enjoyed the game but I stopped playing due to the constant ads popping up.
Great game BUT
This game is refreshing, you don’t get such unique games like this on the app store anymore. It is clear that there was some love put into this game, the mechanics are fun, interesting, there is enough there to keep playing. However, the constant hounding of ads is a bit insufferable. I don’t think it is fair to make comparisons to Nintendogs when there are constant microtransactions and minute long AI ads (some innapropriate for children). Would strongly encourage the developers to rethink their prices (seriously up to £10 for no ads is INSANE - and that’s apparently with 75% of the price off), and their ads. You will surely lose players with all of these advertisements. Worth playing, but doubt I will stick around with the number of ads and microtransactions :/ would rather pay a few quid for a game without these additional barriers

I personally think that it’s super fun but I do think that it’s a little challenging at times. I end up getting a little frustrated with it but then I end up succeeding. So a little challenging but over all super fun!

The game itself is pretty good and fun to play but there are far too many ads & £8 to remove them is just a joke. Will probably uninstall it.
OMG BEST GAME EVER
It’s sooooo much fun!!!! There’s no online with strangers, which i like, but u can add friends it’s so much fun!! The dogs are soooooo cute!! Animation is great!! Hardly any ads, there’s just that one occasional ad plus the optional ones to get rewards but besides that there’s really nothing wrong with it!!!! 💯 recommend!!!!!!
I just want to care for them but that’s gated!
I just want to love and care for the dogs but the game locks you away from anything but petting them endlessly? It really wants to railroad you into competition or paying. Why can’t we care for the dogs during idle time so we don’t get frustrated and quit? Like I’m doing now. Because there comes a point where you have to wait to do anything without paying.

The game is really fun but I Wish you could get bones in the tournament not just gems cause I have so many gems and not enough bones but really the game fun
Not very fun or cute
The dogs are unsettling in how they look and the game itself is very, very repetitive. I got bored in a few days. There is a lot of pressure to watch ads even if you pay to make the forced ads go away, for example by showing a notification to make you think you have rewards to collect, but it’s just prompting you to watch ads until you do. I wanted a Nintendogs style game like the ad said but this is its ugly cousin.

loved this game until now
i got a new phone today & had to trade my old one in. everything was uploaded to the cloud but when i went to download my saved data in the game and logged into my game profile from my previous phone it made me start FROM SCRATCH. i was level 20 something, had spent real money and had multiple gold dogs that are now gone. i’m very upset as i worked extremely hard on this game and truly enjoyed it until now. 😭😭😭

AAAAAA I LOVE IT
I haven't even had this game for an hour, so take this with a grain of salt. But I really like the game already! The dogs are all so cute, so are the animations and I really like the facts under each breed! I have no complaints about the app so far. Update: I've had this game for a couple weeks now, and I have no complaints. I still love it! Very fun. A few suggestions: I'd love if the devs could add more minigame things under the Care For Your Dogs, like for example taking them on walks, or play tug-of-war with them. I'd also love if they could add more breeds to the game. I'm happy with the current breeds, but it would be amazing and could potentially add a lot more to the game (different competitions, different abilities, etc.) if they added more dog breeds.
Pure pay to win
You don’t get very far before you have to start pumping money into it to do anything that’s it and then of course it’s attached to one of those games that you have to use for JustPlay so if you want your reward, you have to spend money to upgrade your dogs and everything it’s stupid they don’t give you anything to upgrade your dogs you have to spend money on it all. The dog bones to train your dog they give you a certain amount of them, but they run out because they cost so much to train your dog. I want you to train your dog to a certain limit then you need some kind of puzzle piece, tokens, or something else to be able to upgrade your dog and they don’t give those away freely. You have to pay for them.

Disgusting amount of ads
When I first joined the game I was loving it. I’ve got really far into the game and I don’t mind the rewarded ads, they don’t bother me too much, but there are ads after every game, ads after following rewards after watching an ad, ads in between caring for dogs, and then ads just because. I’ve been playing two months and already the excitement has gone because the amount of ads overrides my enjoyment for the game overall. I’m going to stop playing now.

Game won’t load
I have heard great things about this game. After it getting stuck at 95% loading, it says it can’t connect so it stops. I read reviews about the same issue and did the things the devs said would temporarily fix it. It did not fix it. I have deleted and redownloaded the game, I have reset my phone, and I have signed out of my Game Center account. Nothing worked. Please figure out how to fix this issue and I’d love to play. But I can’t play if it doesn’t let me.
Love this game
This game is amazing. I get to train and bond with a puppy or dog like they’re my own. I’ve learnt about breeds and - being the dog lover I am - I can imagine I actually have that dog and treat them like I do. I just wish there was a golden retriever 😞 I love golden retrievers and hopefully I will see one in the game soon 🤩
Used to be better
Edited 2026 - used to really enjoy this game but it seems to have had a lot of graphics and UI updates that make it feel much worse. The ads and notifications onscreen are really invasive, the dogs look uncanny as hell, and I just don’t see the point anymore.
Great game, too many random ads
I shouldn’t have to watch ads after navigating the menu, bonding with puppies or after i complete a competition. The ads for speeding up hampers or extra bones is plenty and I watch them all to support a free game.

Got nothing on nintendogs
The dogs are cute but you don’t get to choose which ones you have. The ads are annoying, the constantly needing to spend money just to progress in the game is annoying. Not worth it!!

Single Player
Disregarding the overload of ads, why do we have to add facebook friends to complete collections and get the rarer dogs? What if someone doesn’t have any facebook friends who want to play? Or doesn’t want to add randoms on facebook to find other players? It seems that connecting to “invite friends” doesn’t even work properly. There should simply be a friend system in game to add other recently active players, or via user ID. I’m enjoying the training, care, and amount of breeds but it feels inaccessible to actually continue or complete collections because of this.
