Description states “completely free. No hidden fees” but then charges $15 a year for sponsorblock. Should be illegal to have that service behind a paywall. Not like you maintain it. Not like you built it.

It Works For Certain Videos?
I don't know why but everytime this app gets and update something starts messing up in it. It doesn't make any sense since updates of apps are normally to fix any bugs or glitches that they may have not make them worse. But after this most recent update it's the app choses which videos I get to see and which videos I don't get to see. I don't know if maybe I'm supposed to pay for the Pro just for this problem to be fixed or what. But it happens a LOT. I'll click on a video to watch and instead I'll get a quick 20 to 30 second ad video instead of the actual video I clicked on. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I've tried clearing both all my cache in the app and the apps history and I've tried restarting both my iPad and iPhone since it's happening on both of them. But nothing seems to work to fix this issue not even an update to it.

Slight issues
It’s a great app in my opinion but I’ve encountered a few things that are small in my opinion but a little annoying. Whenever I’m watching something, sometimes the video disappears when I do click the small window view/minimize (the video will disappear, making me click on the video again, refresh it and click the minimize bottom again. Secondly, at some points two videos would play at once if I was listening to the video beforehand and click the next one. It’s a bit odd and it doesn’t stop until I close out of the whole app and reopen it. Another thing, when I pause the video I’m watching it unpauses for some reason. Still even with these small issues I enjoy the app better than YouTube since there is no ads.

When it works it works
I’m grateful for being able to watch ad free but since I started using this app I’ll notice one or a few issues that get fixed but within the same update you get new problems.
No ads and background play
This app fixes everything annoying about mobile video streaming. The built-in ad blocker works perfectly, giving me an uninterrupted viewing experience without aggressive pop ups. Even better, the background audio playback lets me listen to my favorite commentary channels and podcasts while my screen is locked, saving tons of battery. It uses barely any storage space and runs beautifully.
Only advantage is ad free
After using this app for an year, i can freely say that this is the most buggy, glitchy, slow application on phone i've ever used, user interface always does something unexpected and strange things, components flies away, buttons can barely be pressed, sudden sound disappearances, slow video loading, and many many more that i can't describe, if i'd only have an opportunity to share with all screenshots showing awful stuff happening everyday of usage, of course I understand that this app already shows a tonn of hard work, and it's being improved every day, and the main purpose of it to deliver paid functions for free, but i started to think of purchasing subscription for official youtube for 20 bucks just to end this suffering
Good but buggy
It is a good adblocker for Youtube, but it has a few bugs, mainly related to pausing videos. When in PIP, resuming a paused video will play the audio, but the video remains paused. When resuming in regular mode, it often stops the video and starts playing the first short from the front page.
Can’t use without watching ads
It would be a great app, except that it never saves my spot in a video like the youtube app does. Every time I’d open the app it would start my video over and I’d have to waste time trying to find my spot. And then after using it for a few days, it told me I’d reached my watching limit and I’d need to watch an ad to continue. The whole point of downloading this app was to avoid youtube ads!! So I deleted it.
Good but needs work
I appreciate the lack of ads, especially with YT ads skyrocketing lately. YouTube has become unusable. I also really like the background play but not during a phone call. Which happens all the time. The app is also EXTREMELY slow, unresponsive, laggy, and filled with UI and functionality bugs. If you remedy these important issues, I’d be happy to subscribe. Thank you.
Glitches
Really good and acctually doesn’t have ads but sometimes had these like where visual glitches and I have to restart the app but pretty rare and genuinely such a good app
Used to like this before they started charging for no ads
The only reason I ever downloaded this app in the first place was to watch youtube videos with no ads and it was great for awhile but then a week or two ago they implemented a paid subscription that you had to buy to not have to watch ads, which made using the app completely pointless and so i deleted it immediately. Do not recommend unless you want to watch ads.
Bugs
App frequently loops videos that are in a playlist and if the forward button is used it will ignore the set list and play a random video. Otherwise it is a great app.
Used to be great
The app was great. No ads, which was really my only problem with YouTube. It also let you play videos in the background while your phone's off which was a nice bonus. But now there's a limit to how much you can watch, and you have to pay if you want to continue watching which is ridiculous because the whole reason I loved this app was because I could watch videos ad-free without paying for premium. Idk what's going on with all the good apps that offer great features and then suddenly hide those previously free features behind a paywall.
Usually a Great App, Sometimes Buggy
This app has served me pretty well for a while. The UI is a little bit finicky and glitchy but I much prefer that over the insane amount of ads on regular YouTube. However, I just encountered a bug that has massively decreased my ability to use and enjoy the app. The home/back button, which can normally be moved by the user, is partially off-screen and no longer functional. As a result, I can no longer exit out of YouTube Shorts if I begin watching one, and I can also no longer navigate back to view videos/channels from a previous page. Any advice on how to fix?

This is a great app that I use very regularly but in recent weeks it seems to be functioning worse and worse. Videos not loading, constant glitching, This is probably the most useful app I have and I’d hate to have to stop using it.

It starts play payback after midnight
All of a sudden it starts to play a video at 12:30 last night, waking me up from deep sleep. This is the second time this happened in the past few weeks. Never happened before that. Please fix.

Phone Overheats Overnight After Recent Updates
I’ve used this app regularly for a long time, but recently I’ve noticed a serious issue. On several occasions I’ve left my phone untouched overnight in the exact same place as always, only to wake up and find it extremely hot. I haven’t changed any settings, I’ve simply kept the app updated with each new release. Something clearly isn’t working as it should. Apart from being concerning, I’m worried about the long-term impact on my iPhone’s battery health. Please investigate this, as it wasn’t happening before the recent updates. REPLY; This seems to happen when I use Background Play. There’s no video actually playing on screen just the audio in the background. Even then, the video itself is only around an hour long at most. For example, I might start it around 12am and wake up at 6am to find my phone unusually warm or even hot, despite it having been left untouched for hours. That level of heat simply shouldn’t happen.

I was just watching YouTube and fell asleep with it on. I saw that it had stopped ehen i woke up and i tried pressing it and theres a "you watch time is up!! Some annoying bugs recently
my floating back button permanently disappeared (reboot didn’t help), can’t go back… and also when I turn off PiP video it reopens it a second later on its own over and over again, can’t turn it off
Ne fonctionne plus en arrière plan
Comme le dit le titre, cela ne fonctionne plus du tout en arrière plan. Du coup, aucun intérêt par rapport à YouTube normal. De plus, souvent j’ai un message d’erreur concernant la lecture de la vidéo. Bref, je suis déçu. À moins qu’il y ait un réglage particulier ?
Can’t change resolution beyond 360p
Previously I was able to change the resolution to anything, now I cant, also the lite player doesn’t work, it shows video source error

Didn't even last too long and already I'm hit with an HOUR LONG ad in order to watch more videos. This defeats the purpose of this app. I'm deleting it, pissing me off
Fix the playlist and the pip
You need to fix the pip and the playlist so when i have my video in pip and its in a playlist the video i have on it just stops completely and doesnt switch to the next video so you need to fix that for surely

Great but needs fixes
I really like this app but there are some problems holding it back for my usage. Im unable to scroll back or see comments on an important live stream i watch daily. On occasion the pip feature fails as well but keeps the audio playing. Support please fix these issues if possible and will change review to 5 stars!
Update.
A few things to consider for the developers: certain buttons like ‘related’ or ‘from creator’ show nothing. Just a buffer then blank. You also have a trigger for ‘still watching’ around every 20 idle minutes specifically on music I’ve seen? It’d be nice to have a toggle that turns that feature off entirely You should add Spotify to your optimized apps

I watch and listen to YouTube videos constantly and this app fixes everything! No ads, can minimize, can play in the back ground, can play with screen off! I'm going to find a way to donate to these people. This fixes so many issues I had with youtube. Thank you thank you thank you
