What people like
- Works great on old devices
- No tracking or heavy data use
- Fixes playback issues on older iPhones
What they complain about
- Background play often fails completely
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- App crashes and freezes often
Only Update I want you guys to do
Instead of having Skip forward 10 seconds or backwards 10 seconds while on the lock screen, can we have an option to turn back the playlist button while watching a playlist or listening to a playlist in the background or a podcast or whatever it may be if it’s in a playlist with just the arrow for four and back that would be great thanks there’s no way to select that or have that as default that would be great thanks
Confusing and won’t function at all without your private info
This app offers absolutely 0 guide or tutorial on how to use it. I have no idea how it’s supposed to work or what I’m supposed to be able to do. I suppose the problem is that I don’t want to give this app my YouTube login so it just straight up won’t let me do anything at all. But that’s so stupid, why isn’t there any way to use it without a login? Why can’t I just paste video links or something into the app to build the playlists instead of having to fork over my private information? So sketchy and such a waste of time
Would be 5 stars if
You would simply let me listen to the videos while my phone is off
Well done!
It was okay when I first installed it but videos kept playing automatically whenever I stopped scrolling , it was annoying . Seems like the developer might have read my feedback and fixed it. It’s perfect now.
No features , not really commercial free.
Doesn’t play in back ground, doesn’t support cast to other device. Commercial is not removed with payment, too many crushes, basically this app is abandoned for 3 years.

What’s the point
Can’t actually use any buttons after having a song play including the search. So you have to close app and reopen.
Superb
An app that works on any version of iOS, even on really old iPads. No buffering, lag or poor audio. Perfect. Thank you for letting me use my old devices with ease:)

Less baggy but what's the use ?
It’s not bad
I like this app it is actually pretty good. You should try it low-key.
Worst app I have EVER USED
This is literally the worst app I have ever used. It’s glitchy and terrible, if I could give 0 stars I would. Waste your time somewhere else

Fantastic but for ad frenzy
Enjoy the ease of use and really find the app to be useful in a variety of different applications but the ads and the frequency they pop up is extremely frustrating to the point of... Well, if you do decide to use the app despite, just remember if you can't find a way out of the ad, tap top right hand corner loll.
Awesome
Great app
Doesn’t work with screen off
Literally what is the point of this app without being able to listen while the screen is turned off?
Lightweight, Works Great but Background Play Doesn’t Work
First, I truly want to thank the developer who created this because he has put time to create an app for us all to use to avoid those annoying YouTube ads that is showing up more and more. I also would like to thank the developer for making the app small and light weight, without adding tracking stuff like most other apps. I also like to thank the developer for being kind enough to not add annoying pop up ads on initial open like other apps and most of all, just for generously taking time to create this app for the public to use. It has been many years, probably since the time App Store started, that we have a free and useful app without annoying ads. So I thank you and thank you on behalf of all my friends and family that I’ve referred them to use. The reason for the 4 star is because the background play does not work. I hope you’ll be able to fix this because I truly like this se this app grow to 5 stars and grow in the number of downloads. Thank you.
Perfect
Perfect
As a true background player
I have not seen it play solidly as a "background " youtube video player yet. So far as a PIP player only. New to the app. I'm open for comments.
GREAT! But...
It's great but after every video I watch it crashes u should fix it
Excellent app
Can hear sound in background
Don’t download
Don’t download this app,it doesn’t support background play .
fixed a problem
using this app, fixed a pesky issue that my iphone 5 has. won't play yt videos, anywhere. but this video player app...it's the missing piece that fixed the gap. now yt is usable again on the ol’ apple 5.
DON’t WASTE YOUR TIME
It DOESN’T play in the background. This was basically the only reason I download this app, and it does not work, Don’t waste your time like I did!👎🏼
Good app

They say in the description that YouTube plays in the background, but it does NOT. FYI. Not trying to be rude, just informative.
