I just use it for YouTube and it has some bugs that come with the web version but definitely worth it. 🇨🇭
Making something that was free payed after years of free use?
Why would you do that? Everyone else introduce a paid feature that’s something extra, not just make the free version cost money after an “update” just going to switch to one of the free ones now

Amazing but needs fixing.
Updated 8/25/2026 Line tour app and use it daily but really needs an update. It’s been glitching and not loading properly. Trapped on a video and it’s a grey screen. Uh, hello?! When adding a video to playlists menu options block second playlist. Started as a five star but with previous and this old, going to a three for me Last review: When I am watching content and get a call, whether I go into call menu or exit app and then call then it plays loud over call. Kind of annoying. I need to force quit the app before taking the call. Would bring it down to a two but want this app to succeed

A tutorial or guide Maybe a way to remove the shorts button? Different resolutions for on and off WiFi Also why is there a hd air play option that doesn’t work when you press the 3 lines on the top bar on YouTube? I don’t know if these are possible because it’s running a website but I think they would be cool to see Thank you for making this app!

Die App suggeriert kostenfreie Nutzung. Nach einiger Zeit kommt dann aber ein Screen mit Bitte um eine „Spende“, die man nicht ablehnen kann, da ansonsten kein weiterer Dienst nutzbar ist. Entwickler wurde von mir vor Wochen schon kontaktiert, leider bisher keine Antwort. Schade!
Cannot Clear Cache [ FIXED ]
[ The fix for the below problem is that you have to click the "more apps" button. The developer did not elaborate on this directly, but I figured something must be up when I saw their response and I *also* did not see an "info" or "i" button. Now that I can clear the cache, it's a lot easier to deal with the hiccups. I assumed the "more apps" button would just take me to, y'know...their other apps (perhaps on their developer page). This could be explained better, but now it's at least much more usable (although you still have to sign in to everything again after clearing the cache...that's quicker than a full delete-reinstall cycle). ] • • • • • • • • The gear icon won't show up for me, so I can't clear the cache to fix a few issues I'm having intermittently (unresponsive fullscreen button, audio-only playing by default instead of PiP, some incorrect resume places within a video). I'm not sure how to overcome this without a full deletion and reinstall every time (since an offload would not clear the cache), which means I have to log in to all accounts again if I want access to them every single time something goes wrong. I hope this can be fixed in future versions, because it otherwise works as advertised...

Sorry I honor the work you put in for the app, but a donation option is not clear is this once a lifetime or once every mounth or what ? I bought an extension for safari with the same function for 1,99€ lifetime . Wish you the best .
Too buggy
Cons: always buggy - sound suddenly gone - full screen not possible - sometimes automatic background play, sometimes not. No way to manually activate background play on lock screen. - interruptions with background play Pros: - sponsor auto skip - no ads. Never. - subscribing to favorite youtube channels with notifications, without ever logging in

everything in youtube atleast works as described but occasionally it will go through intense bouts of buffering with full bars, this usually only lasts for a little while but can get frustrating at times

Die App läuft eine ganze Zeit ohne das man etwas bezahlen muss. Aber so ca nach einem Monat, soll man plötzlich „Spenden“ und ohne „Spende“ kann man die App nicht mehr nutzen. Hätte es vorher darüber eine Info gegeben oder auch hier im App-Store, wäre das ok gewesen. Dafür „Spende“ ich gerne. Aber so ist das einfach nur dreist. Woher soll ich nun wissen ob ich nach der „Spende“ weiterhin die App nutzen kann oder ob da nun ständig, steht ich soll was „spenden“

Pretty darn good
I got really sick and tired of ads on YouTube because for some reason they keep getting worse on there. So ,I decided to look for an app that runs YouTube smoothly (basically no ads) and someone on reddit recommended SwizzTube. Downloaded it, explored it, and all of a sudden, I'm on SwizzTube more than actual YouTube 😭 Also like how the app is easy and straightforward to navigate/use Thank you for doing God's work🔥

Leider gerade Probleme
Top App. Leider gibt es gerade Probleme wenn ich vom PiP-Modus in die App zurückkehre, dann kommt teils ein Blackscreen an der Stelle wo das Video sein sollte. Manchmal läuft das Video dann korrekt, aber man kann nicht mehr in den Fullscreen-Modus kommen. Trotzdem eine super App, 4 Sterne nur damit die Rezension eher gelesen wird
Crash problem on startup
The app keep crashin everytime am openin it
Keeps unpausing videos
Any action you take unpauses a paused video for some reason. Rotate your phone, resumes video. Minimumize the app, resumes video. Lock your phone, resumes video. Becomes incredibly annoying at times. Still 1000% better to use this than watch ads nonstop
Awesome YouTube/YTMusic adblock background player
This app works even on my outdated iPhone 8 Plus phones rn in 2026. My other preferred app like this is youplay but it doesn’t work with old phones so that makes this my go to in my alternative phone

iPad battery running out fast if I run Swizztube
Works as expected. Kudos to the Developer! Here is request to make App better! 1. Please fix battery fast drying out issue 2. Running the video’s when iPhone or iPad locked! this is a very helpful future to listen long podcast. 3. Video quality is only showing Auto and 360p. thats making sometime video very low quality

Hey, thanks for developing this! I’ve been enjoying using this. The apps gets stuck and resumes after a split second very often on MacOS 26 beta. Once every 20-30seconds.

I’ve been using this app for a while just did the update today and now it doesn’t even work. I have this pop-up all the time and won’t let me open up YouTube or any other app do not update.
A great app, but…
A wonderful app! I'd easily give it 5 stars if it weren't for the lack of a scrubbing option when watching videos. Currently, you can't fast forward or rewind simply by touching the screen. Adding this in future versions or updates would be a great improvement!

The app works great however when minimizing the app to the App drawer/homescreen the video freezes until re-entering the Youtube window.
Needs ALOT of work
Based on the positive reviews, I decided to purchase the app. However, after using it for a few hours, I noticed quite a few glitches (see attached image for an example). The app does block ads as advertised, at least for YouTube, yet it still needs significant interface improvements for smoother user experience. I’ll happily update my review once this app becomes more stable :)

Youtube music keeps pausing itself on background. Next track doesn’t play sometimes. Overall it’s a great app
Need some work
Let me start by pointing out that on M4 iPad the fullscreen is very buggy , intermittent. I would beg for some remedies for bot message. Finally it says on the tin compatible with Mac OS in Hd try changing res 360p…. Why?

Fast and easy, very recommended.
Worst browser award!
Swizztube is an absolute mess. It tries to do too much and fails at every level. It's also endless updates with no improvement. The developers have a thin skin and refuse to admit the app is barely at beta stage. You literally have to restart the app to get back to the (hilarious) home screen, and that's just the start of it. I like to imagine that one day the penny will drop and the plums involved drop all the pointless filler and turn the app into a sleek ad-free YouTube viewer. That's what I initially expected but unfortunately it's not what you get.

Working fine, only thing is I can’t read comments etc while watching the video as the background goes black when you play.
