Coding, crashes the app
I have been trying to get it to write some code, nothing complex, but when it tries to write what I assume is a large block of code it crashes the app (unfortunately it never complete so I don’t know it’s limit) - such a shame - has potential …

什么都不错，就是似乎没有联网搜索，本地ollama部署模型后，用它问了一些跟最近日期相关的问题都乱答，而直接使用ollama提供的gui则能够搜索并答对问题。另外推理过程也看不到，建议增加一个选项能够开猴看到推理过程。
Couldn’t configure
I have a local LLM running via LMStudio on my network. There really isn’t much help with configuration and the settings screen is minimal. Trying various URL’s to connect to my local instance, no error messages and no connection. This may be a great app but I couldn’t figure out how to get it configured.
Good start but lacking features
IOS feature is limited. No upload files, tts, stt, RAG, generate image.

This software has not been updated for a long time, many bugs have not been fixed, and many functions are missing.

Not really good even for the basics …
Doesnt support styling via <think> … no proper reasoning, slow UI refresh, absolutely no features besides it being a “Mac App”.
Good enough
Not exactly feature-rich but it supports simple text chatting. I was hoping it hooked into Siri/Shortcuts to be able to run automations or shortcuts through my LLM but it does not.
It just works
I looked around on the App Store for a while to find a LLM app that doesn’t force their own sucky LLM on you. I finally found this and it just works great. The only changes I would want would for the app the handle “thinking” models better and for support for function calls. Great app, does everything that it says it will.

EDIT: Projet abandonné L’application est très légère par rapport aux applications Electron du marché qui bouffent une tonne de mémoire rien que pour afficher un simple chat. De ce point de vue Enchanted est très intéressante. Mais il lui manque quelques fonctionnalités indispensables. Au minimum il faudrait pouvoir renommer les chats. Mieux encore il faudrait pouvoir les organiser comme on le souhaite. J’utilise des LLM pour des tâches variées. Associer un modèle particulier à une conversation particulière serait un gain de temps appréciable.
Works Well, Would Love to See Additions
It works well, and does what you expect. I would love to see Enchanted: - Support keyboard shortcuts on the iPad (CMD-N; CMD-,; etc.). - Allow for multiple end-points to switch between different models. This would allow switching between devices (different IP addresses) and models (ports, for example different RAG servers on one device). - Sync chat history using iCloud (iPad, Mac, iPhone all with the same chat history). - Better behavior when screen locks on iPhone/iPad (not just throwing a raw network error). Would be happy to pay for these enhancements.
Love completions but the rest is meh
The app offers completions which can be manually expanded, which can be a god sent. Unfortunately, that’s the only upside. The most annoying bit is that the input field always loses focus when the LLM renders its output, which means the user always has to click on the input field first to be able to type a new request, which makes it painful to have a flowing conversation. Then there’s other basic stuff, such as the poor contrast between grey background and grey text in light mode. Or the fact that there’s no interface to manage LLMs in Ollama. And why this requires an iCloud account to download is beyond me. Back to Ollama Swift for me since it works better in every aspect.

It says to update in Settings and I’ve got no idea how to do that, it isn’t intuitive. So the app is useless until being update. How??

Amazing! But…
I’m updating my review based on some unaddressed issues and shortcomings. I still want to start out by saying that for what it is this is an outstanding app. By all means if you’re running Ollama you definitely need to check it out. However. I have been having an issue since day one where the app will crash if you upload an image or file that’s too large. I haven’t figured out what the maximum is, but I do know that through other UI’s such as Open WebUI this isn’t an issue. So the problem is with the app, not the backend. The biggest show stopper for me is that there is no cross device syncing. How can such a beautifully crafted Apple exclusive app not have at-least iCloud syncing? Though something like WebDAV would be preferred tbh. I have 4 devices and im constantly needing to go back and reference previous conversations only to realize it’s on a device I don’t have with me.

I tried multiple Ollama gui apps, I find this the best one! but I don’t like how it not suppourt RTL when I write in Arabic for example or I got response on Arabic the layout should be RTL not LTR ! I hope it fixed in next release as it annoying read from LTR when the text is RTL language !

Die App an sich ist prima, leider gibt es keine Möglichkeit einen deutschsprachigen Prompt zu sprechen. Hier wird wohl immer auf die englische Sprachunterstützung zurück gegriffen. Das ist insbesondere am iPhone unbequem.

As the title suggests, you can’t submit anything after typing it in.
Great Option
Almost perfect. iCloud Advanced Data Protection synchronization and/or API models would be really great.

very limited function
No background support
Once the app moves into the background the sessions are terminated and the response is getting lost and ends in error. It’s a major flaw for this app specially when experimenting with LLMs that take a bit longer on the used hardware.
Nice App
Very good. Lightweight client with a nice UI. Would like to see LaTex rendering and an option the hide the <think></think> that R1 and other models use.

Answers get cut off
Was excited to see if this would work on my self-hosted llama instance. Unfortunately, it seems that responses are cut off and not fully displaying in the UI.
Broke on IOS 18
I assume Devs did not run any IOS18 betas to see the app crashing immediately when opened after installing this update. Some bugs here and there like text left in input field after submit and a response received, doesn’t happen all of the time though.
Aesthetic and Functional App with Room for Growth
I love your work here. You've made something that is very aesthetic and functional, and I really appreciate it. I hope that you'll continue developing this app and add new features. If I can make at least one request, I would like to see the option to break from scrolling as an LLM is outputting text.
Could have been good
Doesn't truly delete conversations. They are still stored in an unencrypted file default.store-wal in the Containers folder. That file continues to accumulate conversations that users believe were deleted. Also the shortcuts to summarise or complete selected text isn't good. It replaces selected text.
Beautiful but flawed
The UI in this looks beautiful, but it’s got a serious problem in that the button that you have to use to submit a prompt is located directly next to the record audio button and it seems like the record audio button is above it and there’s no way to actually hit the button to submit a request.

Simple, clean, and effective
The app has a minimalist interface with no ads, and the settings are easy to use—great stuff! I strongly recommend adding a small feature for preset characters so you can choose them each time you start a conversation.

Kept crashing the server. It was a docker container but the whole server crashed

This is a really nice app that I’ve been using quite a bit. One suggestion, though: it would be nice if autocorrect was enabled. It’s surprisingly hard to type out a chat on an iPhone without that.

At the time of writing the review I cannot consistently use the app without it freezing. If this app worked properly it would be really great.

Amazing app, no bugs, no glitches, very minimalistic. Love the app. I do wish that it supported (or supports) the new tools in Ollama that have been added in the OpenAI format, but literally, perfect app.
No Scrolling
A very basic thing like scrolling is not working, If that would have been working, it would have been 5 starts as everything else works. Only way to move through the conversation, is to mark the text and then hope you find what you were looking for
Simple yet effective
Great little interface for my self hosted ollama instance. Nice work! Only snag I have is the app pings the ollama server on every key stroke when I’m typing. If I’m type more than two sentences it then glitches and crashes. Would be great if there could be a short wait to see if the user has stopped typing before sending the HEAD request to the server. Or make use of a send button instead.
