Beware! NOT the official Sony App!
My Sony a6500 literally tells me on the camera screen to use “PlayMemories Mobile” to transfer photos. I searched that exact name in the App Store, downloaded this app, and was then asked to pay $29.99 just to access/transfer my own photos. It turns out this app is not made by Sony at all. Sony renamed its real free app to Imaging Edge Mobile, but older cameras still display the old PlayMemories name, which makes this app extremely easy to mistake for the official one. Very misleading. Check the developer before paying anything.
mouais
How to Sign In
What do you mean it only lest you sign in with apple id ?
READ ME BEFORE YOU USE
After transferring one time, the app will ask for a subscription payment before transferring again. You can bypass this by reinstalling the app each time you want to transfer. It’s a massive pain, but if you select all the images instead of one at a time, you won’t need to deal with too much hassle.
Scammm
doesnt import arws and isnt the real app
FAKE APP!! This app does not even load the photos into your gallery
I own a Sony a6400 and downloaded this app thinking it was the correct one to transfer photos. It would for the first 10 photos then I was asked to pay $29.99. Since I thought this was the correct app I payed the $$. After that they photos I transfer no longer loaded. Currently disputing the charge. Don’t get this app. The correct app is imaging edge mobile
Scam app
It doesn’t even work it took the name of an app that Sony used to have.
Stupidest app
They want you to pay
LOGIN
Fix your login page, keep asking login to apple Id eventhough already log in to my apple id account.
NOT the official Sony app
This app appears to be listed as “PlayMemories,” but it is not the official Sony application. Sony discontinued PlayMemories Mobile and replaced it with Imaging Edge Mobile, which is the correct and supported app for Sony cameras such as the A7 III. If you are trying to connect a Sony camera wirelessly, download Imaging Edge Mobile instead. That is the official Sony app. This listing is confusing and may mislead users looking for the genuine Sony software.
Lame
Stupid thing tries to charge you to access your own already purchased camera over WiFi lol
Download Imaging Edge
This app is fake. Download imaging edge instead. That’s the correct Sony app. This app will pretend to work with your camera and work at first but then it will start trying to rope you into a subscription and not allow you to transfer photos at all.
