Would I recommend?
It’s a working progress sometimes it works like a charm and other times I encounter it having some difficult difficulties. I am getting used to it as it is getting used to me. I am a little more technically verse than most, but what I can say with certainty is that their team is constantly working on it to make it better. Nothing is full proof but I believe that if they continue on their past, they will have an incredible product
Verify Results Given!
Five minutes into using the first test estimate, a very quickly realize that the results are extremely inaccurate. For example: for building a deck, a called for 2 x 4 blocking and 2x6 rim joist. The nominal depth of each of those should match the floor joist nominal depth.. it also called for 2 x 6 to make staircase stringers. It also overestimated the floor joist by about 25% and linked me to a Lowe’s pricing of $1.50 a linear foot. Then when I checked Lowe’s, it’s closer to $2.67 a linear foot. Those are the first mistakes that jumped out at me right away, so I’m sure there would be more if I decide to spend more time on it. I only gave a two star because if you do your homework and you have a lot of patience, you can update all the right numbers in the system. So it’s like a good template, but need you to give it a lot of input.
Great experience
Usually apps are disappointing. They only do half of what they say. They glitch. I have had a great experience with Handoff. It is learning how we do business. It creates documents and forms on the fly. It serves as a CRM, estimator and great office tool. Customers and staff alike complement the professional forms we send out.
Harassment at its worst
I entered my business’s phone number onto this registration, and they would not leave me the heck alone. That number is dedicated purely to customers and so I answer it on a consistent basis. I’ll be honest one of the worst sales tactics I’ve ever seen. I’m a busy man. I do not have time to sit here and chat!!!!!. Not to mention their estimation software is so far off I would’ve lost $10,000 in 1 job alone!!. Terrible software I gave it a simple task to generate an estimate for a general contracted 1500 ft.² house. And tested it on previously done projects because I know the entirety of the scope I’m able to tell it exactly how much work it actually is and so I told it that and it was off by approximately 25% low!!!! they say AI is the future of our industry, but clearly they don’t have any idea how to program true national averages
Great app but glitches
The app seems great and I really like it, but it overheats my phone and the app glitches and I have to click a button multiple times, I’ll still keep using it but I hope this issue can get fixed I have the 15pro max so my phone should be more than enough to handle the app
Your Complete Office Worker
The app has saved hours and hours of sitting at a desk doing estimates. Yes, you will need to fine tune the app to our liking and location. But, once that is done, sit back and see how many more project you get.
No Refund
I had canceled my prescription the second month with them and they charged me the third month. They charged me again. Saying they can't give me a refund. Do not trust this app not good.

One minor problem. Won’t allow me to update/edit my sent proposal

Handoff is a great help in keeping my mind on the projects. I don’t get bogged down in a sea of estimates that people are waiting on. I tell Handoff what I need, and it makes adjustments. It handles typing, gathering, sorting, and editing, freeing me to think more clearly and ensure I'm catching everything, all while meeting the necessary margins to be successful. The client portalmis a great help and the features being added are growing this platform very quickly. If you haven't tried AI estimating then Handoff is worth investing some time into. The team is very helpful and quick to respond.
Worthless
App has potential but my second estimate the app just shut off. The team should cancel all the subscription and make the app better first. Got potential but zero power. Dont spend money in this app yet. I hate to say that but thats reality. Again: huge potential if the team fix thismajor issue. You are not supposed to stop work in the middle of an estimate and dont save all the pics and details. Unacceptable.
Estimates
Handoff estimator has really helped me and my business. Once you set it up with your job pricing the way you price your work the estimate can be produced in less than half the time it would take with a pen and paper. Are you still going to have to take notes yes take measurements yes. You simply talk the process of the job to the app and it produces the estimate some fine tuning and send it. It’s the future here now. Mike !!!
Must have
If run a home improvement business it’s well worth the money to take working estimates off your plate. Handoff has an incredible support staff. The solutions are very fast to any problem you might come across. They are constantly improving the already awesome app as well. Highly recommended
Don't waste your money
ChatGPT 5.0 does a better job and is $20.00 per month! You can use ChatGPT for other things as well

It won’t let me login. It won’t let me create account. It won’t let me do anything. It says I have an unknown character in my phone number ???? What does that mean what I’m using 10 digits and all of them are numbers don’t it’s very annoying.
Awesome service and product
I started using this program this AI program for my residential non-insurance work. I have found it amazing and. helpful tool to use. The AI is responsive. And understands Construction it helps me every single day with all the upgrades and changes they are planning I believe this will be my go to for years to come. All of the staff have been helpful with all with the same goal in mind to make this a great product for customers.
A scam
Just charged my card again. I told julian to cancel my account right after i opened it. Told him nicely that it dudnt work for me. They keep charging my card 2024/12/31 Tired of receiving span messages from these people. I send message back asking them to stop doing that but, just received 5 more messages. Its a headache! Please remove me from your data bases. Stop stop stop. 2025/05/07 I still got all my messages with Julian about all this thing. It happened a year ago and now you are trying to make it look it was my fault. please. Anyways, thank you for not calling or sending spam after my review of 2024/12/31 but, I will keep this review posted here. As what happened, happened and is good for other people to know about it
