Update Broke App

GSB got rid of the feature where you can have your debit card locked at all times to where it only unlocks if you enter a password to manually unlock. This was a great safety feature that gave me peace of mind after my wallet was stolen. That is gone. And I might be as well to somewhere else who can give me more safety

Great App NEED MFA
Smooth, easy to navigate great app, but they need MFA added to it.
Can’t update app 😩
Keeps taking me to the app in the App Store then open is the only option. It takes me back to a notification of needing to update the app. It goes in circles with no where to click on to update.

The deposit feature is awesome and the people that work at Stockton Mo bank are the kindest people ever they deserve a raise for sure ( just sayin )
Not working anymore
In app it says it needs to update, I come here then then it just says open with no update and I can’t access my account

The app is great. The only reason I have it 3 stars is because I do not believe there is a way to shut cards off from the app. I used to bank with Wells Fargo and recently switched over to GSB. The option on the WF app to shut cards off instantly came in handy. I wish they would add this feature to the GSB app.
1-800 nothing
I’m usually really happy with this bank but im getting a notification telling me to make sure to check for fraud, recently there’s been text messages sent out not by great southern but clam to be. I’m the app they tell you to talk to an 800 number. This number I could speak to no one and only brought me to a local number that also had the exact same phone set up with no people. How am I supposed to talk to anybody online about this going on if I can’t contact anyone at all through the numbers you provide.
Bring back debit card Freeze
I absolutely love this app so easy to navigate and switch between accounts. I just wish they would bring back the freeze account/debit card option especially for the cards in the case of them being lost, stolen or misplaced

I enjoy friendliness and the customer service I get from present employees. I hate that you had to close local branch in my area.

has some issues that need to be fixed
so the app is overall pretty nice but i have two big issues. 1. no where to freeze a card- i lost my card one evening and had to wait till the next morning before i could freeze it because i had to call and the call support people were only available for certain hours. anyone could’ve spend any money on my card in that time, so the app defiantly needs a freeze card option. 2. a running balance needs to be displayed after each transaction in the app, showing the total you had in your account after each transaction or deposit was made. i say this because i keep my own account of all my money on a spreadsheet and it would be helpful to know when my calculations are off or if the apps calculations are off and why im missing $65. this is most frustrating to me because i don’t see any transactions on the app of $65 and i’ve checked my own calculations over and over again and it looks like the bank could’ve taken $65 dollars and said “no one will notice”. i doubt this is true as it is a very well known and trusted bank but im just saying that’s what it looks like.

Slow bill pay/2 separate cards for checking and saving to withdraw $
Came from a busy city in Colorado and I am disappointed this bank has such a delay in bill pay. It takes 1-2 days to transfer money to my kids or husband! Really not up to date. Then After moving all my money into this bank i found out i need 2 separate atm cards one for checking one for savings. Yikes I am going back in time!

Old one was better
Bill pay was the most obvious let down, but in general this new app does not navigate well. I actually know someone at Jack Henry that switched banks because he was so disappointed in the functionality of new app does

Worthless at night!
I’m ready to switch banks! If it’s after 8-9:00 PM, don’t even try to use the app! Apparently, if it’s nighttime great southern doesn’t want you to spend money!
Inconvenient transfer locking times
Im very well aware that banks can close sometimes but this is supposed to be app. My bank account is connect to it and i shouldnt have to have all my money in my checking. I seem to cant transfer money after 7 oclock and thats very inconvenient when i have stuff to pay for. And it seems the app has to close every other day it seems like. I couldnt pay for my groceries tonight.

So easy to transfer money, easy online banking. 100% recommend
App stopped working
App just randomly stops working which means I can’t check on any of my accounts unless i physically go to a location. It’s a very inconvenient way to do banking. Other banks offer apps that work. Why can’t Great Southern.
Great Southern Bank app
This is one awesome app that I really enjoy using over and over and over. When they give it the upgrade, it’s always for the better. Everyone that banks here should try this out.
App is trash mobile banking terrible
Constantly buffering or loading wheel when trying to view balance . It’s been like this forever . Constantly having the maintenance updates and never fixes the buffering and loading wheel
