Update: Poor Customer Service
Update: They kindly refunded me after all! Even when the subscription cancellation online wasn’t working, they still wouldn’t refund me for my subscription. First time I’ve encountered a company that wouldn’t refund within a small grace period!

Good, but can be better
I love Ninjago and I want to see the next seasons (3,4,5,6&7), you haven’t added any seasons past season 2 and it’s been over 3 months since last episode was released. Also where’s runes?
Love hate relationship
Love all the content, but the app needs a lot of work. I have an account through the daily wire and Bentkey is included but it keeps telling us that we are on the free account without a subscription so I have to log out and log back in for it to work, which is extremely irritating! It used to log you out all the time so they have fixed that glitch and it keeps me logged in but it won’t let us watch any shows unless I log out and log back in
WHAT DID YOU DO!?
I like this app, but you have to bring back those other episodes of how ridiculous just make another season! Don’t delete any of the previous episodes either keep bringing in new episodes and just add another season or whatever! I miss those episodes of how ridiculous you deleted. 😢😠 but otherwise I like this app

Terrible cancellation methods
First, I had no idea this was affiliated with Daily Wire or I wouldn’t have downloaded the app. Second, cancelling this is ridiculous. I can’t do it through the app, Apple, or the Bentkey website. My card was charged by Daily Wire, and I now receive email campaigns from them, but I can’t cancel from their website because I don’t have an account. So I’m left with emailing support and seeing what happens. Typical grift from a company I expect nothing less from.
Super glitchy
Good, love it. BUT, super glitchy. It kept corrupting my iPad when I was writing this review.
Bad interface/limited content
The app struggles at times to work. It has been known to crash and can be slow. However my biggest issue is that it has no search feature. You just have to look at everything until you find what you want. Side note, I’m still waiting on Snow White. That was supposed to come out by the end of 24’ and I still have seen nothing about it. Pretty annoying as it was a big reason my wife and I decided to get a subscription in the first place. I know delays exist but this is kinda ridiculous.
Mixed feelings
Mixed feelings. Positive: We loved all round champion. Mabel Mclay is quite wholesome. Gus plus Us recommended to neighbor it became their dream show. Kid fit chef inspired me to learn cooking with my dad, thanks Olivia (Chef)! Baby baby was adorable too :))) Negative: Chip Chilla is a ripoff of Bluey, boo! App is quite glitchy, had lots of crashes. Runes has so much witchcraft, a guy gets possessed and Hugo is too wimpy to possibly be a Viking. Did boys from the Middle Ages have panic attacks? Um no. Friends is probably the worse show on their. Friends: Stephanie said a bad word in the first or second episode, and for the frist 4 episodes, they were basically chasing down a guy who spray painted their mural, and they stole his home. Emma is the only good person on there. Olivia (from friends)had googles to spy on the dude, and I could like medical stats which was kinda creepy. Other than that, Bentley is mostly wholesome and I would recommend for ages 3-9 and young families.
Happily Surprised
At first I was a little hesitant about this app, especially during the growing stages after it was first released, but I came back to it recently and was happily surprised at the amount and quality of content that they had added. Not only are there action shows that I wouldn't mind watching with my own kids, but also really creative and interesting shows, like How Ridiculous and wildlife shows, even a cooking show for kids (that I still would watch to find some new recipes because I need more). Definitely five stars.
So annoying
Never goes to the next episode. You have to rewind it if you’ve watched a 7 minute episode before. Sometimes you can’t press down to the end of the episodes. Sometimes you can’t even open the app. Really just a poorly made app with a few shows.
Needs Watchlist/Continue
My daughter loves some of the shows on Bentkey, but every time we get on it takes quite a while to find them. A watchlist and a “continue watching” list that picks up where you left off would seemingly be standard additions to a platform that has been out this long.

Okay my name is scarlett and im 11 years old and your letting my 4 YEAR OLD BROTHER TRYING TO USE UP ALL OF THE MONEY FOR THE BENTKET PASS well i got to say the really REALLY scrtict of you and now lets talk about the shows. Alright so in the episode of chip chilla why dose the middle child have to follow the stranger to his house HE CAN GET KINAPPED and thats makeing kids letting to go to starngers houes to get killed! i saw alot of amber alerts every time in the tv news and that can happend to chip chilla that followed buck rabbit the stranger! okay but im not trying to be rude but chip chilla is a very bad rippof show for my little brother can you Please PLEASE make the price low like 700$ or 534$ or something because many chirdren are buying that all alone! but i know your still trying your best but can you please stop makeing my brother buy something are go to radom peoples houses because of the money and the shows please! Great content but not so great app
Bentkey has great content and they have done a great job providing more and new content. Throwing in GI Joe was a winner for myself. Now the down side, the app itself is not that great. We had issues with it at the very beginning which was understandable. The problem now is that it’s been a year and the bugs should be worked out but every time you are watching a show if you touch the screen it will stop and the screen will turn black and freeze. You have to exit and then the start the episode all over again. It’s pretty lame and annoying when you a children that will constantly touch the screen when watching an episode.
Great and elegant
Thank God for the Daily Wire and their efforts in creating safe places for men women and children to be in this online world. The app is beautiful. It has GI Joe on it and many other old favorites which are totally safe and full of biblical values. I couldn’t be more impressed.
Still unable to cast to chrome cast
I will not renew my subscription to the Daily Wire or Bentkey. I’m sick of ibegging for help with this app and not getting any after YEARS of asking. They will not add an option to cast to chrome cast. I cannot watch this with my kids unless I can cast it.
Won’t let you cancel subscription
I love the bentkey original content but it’s not coming out as fast as I want. So I keep trying to cancel and get an error on every platform .
Great Idea, Not Great App
We’re DW subscribers and we love the Bentkey content, but this app is trash and needs help. It is constantly freezing and crashing. I’m currently trying to load Chip Chilla and have been staring at a black screen for 5+ minutes because it didn’t like that I pressed the “back” button. Please make this run smoothly!
Kids love it
Charming shows, they really like Mabel Maclay and Gus plus us. Great for toddlers as and grade schoolers.
Good content / can’t use service
I LOVE this app! I can get it to load on my phone just not my tv. Great shows, good family content, but doesn’t matter b/c it will NOT load on my tv. On the plus’s side, O can cancel my Daily-wire subscription and get youtubeTV.

Why I chose 4 stars is because well… the Ninjago trailer says they get the golden weapons and in the videos they already have the golden weapons and “ the day of the great devourer , darkness shall rise “ well… those videos the picture says that Cole gets captured by lord garmodons skeletons and on “ darkness shall rise “ it shows that Cole and Sensa Wu are trapped with a another person in white and WHERE IS THE SNOW WHITE ??? My toddler is obsessed with baby baby and anytime we finish the last episode it removes it from the watch more and it takes forever to find it because it’s only under “favorites” after you scroll for eternity. It just seems very strange to me that there isn’t already a search bar for easier location of the shows your kids already like and gravitate towards.
Hope they continue to put more great shows on here

Horrible customer service
We tried Bentkey over a year ago for a 7 day free trial. It wasn’t all that appealing to us - it’s kind of lame and buggy - so we canceled the app through the AppStore. Fast forward to today and we find out that we’re being charged over $100 for an automatic renewal. It’s not sufficient to cancel your subscription through the app (like everyone else) but you also have to access the BentKey website and cancel there too! That’s awful. This is the second time I’ve tried to buy services from the Daily Wire that left me feeling burned and frustrated.
Trouble getting out of the app on Apple TV
My husband is unable to exit from the app on Apple TV. Normally hitting “menu” on the remote close the app. He has to unplug the Apple TV to get out of the app.
Bye Sesame Street
My toddler is just now starting to get into shows. She’s my fifth and it is annoying to see increasingly woke programming for children literally everywhere! We used to be able to trust that when I turn on the tv for my young child, I wouldn’t have to explain why “Stacy has two dads” but here we are, on Sesame Street, having to do just that. I’m a member of Daily Wire and tapped in to Bent Key today. All I can say is WOW! And *sigh* thank you guys so much.
Constant issues
The iPad app is “broken.” It constantly logs us out and it’s really frustrating for us and our kids. Content is great and growing. App is wonderful on the Apple TV… But this is nearly unusable. The iPad is not the newest, but not ancient either; using iOS 17.
Very great, but glitches often
So why I’m giving this only 4 stars is for these reasons: -It will glitch often when I’m watching a show on it. Sometimes, it will just randomly exit the app when I watch something and then I have to find out where I was and go back. -It adds stuff to my watch list that I don’t want on it. I will look into a new show to watch, and then it says continue watching on my watch list. -Once, it logged me out of my account and I had to log back in again. -Every time the app closes, all my shows restart to the beginning of the episode. - This app relies a little too much on internet. Other than that, I would totally recommend you subscribe to Bentkey! It also gives you adult content on a different app called The Daily Wire so you’re not just paying for your kids. I’m 11 and I love this app sooooo much! See ya✌🏻
Love Bentkey
Really love this streaming service. I enjoy the quality programs and don’t have to worry about all the woke stuff that’s being added in most kids shows. My kiddos (4 and 6) also really enjoy it. The only thing that’s frustrating for me is the fact that the app doesn’t seem to hold your place. So if my kids ask to watch a show, we just have to guess which episode was last watched. It also doesn’t hold your place if you are half way through a show. Once you click off it’s as if you never watched it at all. Im hoping they update it soon to fix this!
Wont let log in
I am so torn here. My kids and I love the content but we have more issues with this streaming service than any other. Now we can’t even log in after resetting the password. We have tried troubleshooting and are getting nowhere. Doesn’t matter how good the content is if you can’t get to it.
What about All-round champion!
So i wanted to get this cuz of this show called all round champion and it looked cool 🛹⛸️⛳️ u know what the emoji’s mean! And im on s2 e2 and it’s the end of summer so I was like “a new season is coming soon!” 🥳 i looked up all round champion and I realized that there was already season 3 😱 but on the app there is only s2 and 1 though there’s 5 seasons! And I hope ur not one of those lazy companies that never answers a review but the only thing that i want u to do is put all all round champion seasons (hope u understood that) but I love this app so I will be a grateful 9 yr old and say “ thank u for this app 😊” 🩷 in addition it glitches out of the app when I go to pause menu too much 😢
I Love Bentkey!
I love Bentkey! It’s nice to be able to turn it on and know my kids can watch whatever and they won’t see something wildly inappropriate. The app however is missing a search bar, it’s kinda annoying to have to dig for the show you want. Also, it would be awesome if I could temporarily download a few episodes here and there for when I have to take kids with me to meetings in a location where data signals are scarce, or on road trips where the signals change frequently, etc. Two final things: I would love some more “watch together” shows and movies that entertain all ages (I know they’re in the works and I can’t wait), and a learn to read show that sticks to phonics, the alphabet, mother goose, fables, fairy tales, etc. (too many reading shows nowadays have alternative lifestyles featured heavily)
Screwed over by customer service
I do appreciate the content, but my kids weren’t watching and I’ve been battling trying to cancel for months. I’ve been scammed out of a whole year’s subscription bc of their lack of customer support and care. If you do decide to cancel, cancel months in advance. There’s no telling what kind of issues you’ll receive and what you’ll be scammed out of.
Love the content, the functionality of the app needs help
I love the content of these kids shows! Clean, engaging, educational. However, the app developers have some work to do for the paying customers. Every time we open the app on our Roku TV it logs me out or changed my membership to indicate that I only have free access. Since I have to log out and back in every time my kids need my help every time. It’s annoying for sure. So good job on the content Bentkey-but keep working on the user experience!
