Paid for the year
This app only works about 10% of the time. It’s been weeks of trying to open it and it does not work. When it does, it glitches and doesn’t hold places in shows. I regret the purchase.
The new update no longer works on my iPad Air 2 with 15.8.8
Please fix the app. The app is broken. It no longer works on the iPad Air 2. It says to update the app but that is not possible. Apple just released iOS 15.8.8 update a few weeks ago. Thanks.

Loss of connection
We love the movies that we are able to pull up from pure flex. They all have been great and enjoy them. Our only problem is the movie can freeze and then we’d lose connection. This can happen several times when we were watching movies at night and it is quite a distraction and very hard to get it to start up again. Then we just turn it off . I have read other people have had that problem. I hope they get it fixed.
So good it’s got my kids attention!
This is a great place to comfortably let my kiddo choose and watch something actually faith based and not scared about what scenes next. Although it’s a great place, the app is pretty laggy and takes quite a while to stop buffering and watch especially the tv app.

Powerful content but glitchy
We live prefix but can’t watch it with ease in the tv. It won’t respond to the Apple Remote or other remotes we have. Please fix so we can enjoy!!
Great content, app needs work
Love the movies and shows, but the app is lacking in many ways. First, on appletv it disables the screen saver. It keeps a static image and does not sleep. This could be disastrous for my OLEDS! Next, watching shows is not intuitive. The interface doesn’t bring you back to the next show in your series, but the last one you watched. Some episodes are not played sequentially due to numbering errors, so I must locate the exact episode I want to watch every time! Lately with the app changes, it has made navigation ever more cumbersome.

User interface not useable
The programming may be good but the user interface is virtually unusable. It is extremely slow if/when it does work. It is so frustrating that it isn’t worth the time or aggravation to try to access any of the programming to watch on my tv. None of the other apps have this problem so it must be Pure Flix and not my tv or the tv remote. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Pure Flix to anyone.
Some updates that need to be fix
The application is a good place to have Christians movies aways from scenes that are not good. The only problem in this app it’s that is lacking of having a to continue to watch and the list of watchlist in the table board and the languages that are not available like Netflix. I’m paying this because it’s less expensive which is good and for the advancement of the kingdom of God hoping this money you use to have more options and to ameliorate the app and have more available Christians movies.
Change password again
Right now I’m not very happy. I don’t understand why every time I go to pure flex GM I have to put in my password and information and it makes me change my password every time I go in it’s such a fight and so miserable. I’m so sad.
Update is awful
Did no one check the update before they released it? It was forced and now none of the season episodes are in order. It shouldn't be hard to fix this, but it has been 2 months since the update. When will this get fixed?
Great program
Pure Flix has gotten so much great programming that it is now a joy to watch.
HORRIBLE
Download the app to my Samsung TV and it’s blurry and pixelated. If I go through the app my phone and cast it to the TV it’s clear but it keeps buffering. I will be canceling the subscription.

IOS 16 is not compatible with my iPad, version IOS 15.7
I have an iPad IOS 15.7 that is not compatible with IOS 16, & never will be, so I cannot update and watch PureFlix with the app. I’m shut out. All my other apps on my iPad can be updated for my iPad version, so I know it is possible to do. PureFlix is the only app that has an issue. You need to change your app info to reflect that only iPad IOS 16 or later can access the app. The app says I’m compatible but I’m not. Please consider changing the app info or figure out how to make an app to work so I can use my iPad. I’ve tried PureFlix.com, it’s awful, hardly any movies or shows. Plus my watch list is gone and I don’t think I’m going to bother redoing it. Thanks.
Good content, but lacking essential features
I like the video library, but there is no ability to pinch to show full screen video, 4K hdr support, dark mode. Please add! Keep the movies coming
Decline in Christian movie choices
I enjoyed PureFlix starting in 2022 and back then, the platform had an awesome selection of Christian movies. But such a selection has been on a decline since early 2025. I noticed that ever since, there were fewer and fewer Christian movies and then just about the only new movies that come are the Hallmark-style movies which most people in teens or 20s aren’t interested in. I switched to a platform with a better selection of Christian movies.
Love it but slow
I absolutely love this app especially for my kids but it takes it 20 minutes to get anything to play on my tv. It takes so long to load and I have to go in and out of it hoping it’ll decide to work.
Faith & Family friendly
My granddaughter and I watch PureFlix and love everything we watch! After every movie or series, we look at each other and say, “that was SO GOOD!” Let us know when we can expect Series 2 for Shadrach, as well as Saved by Grace! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them both!!! They stole my money
I used to like this app but rarely used it so i was on a monthly plan. Then after months of not using it i went to cancel and saw i was on an annual subscription. Customer service refused to refund me even tho i sent screenshots of my MONTHLY plan and they can clearly see i haven’t loggin in in months. NOT VERY CHRISTIAN OR AMERICAN TO STEAL AND LIE. THAT IS STEALING. WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS GARBAGE COMPANY AGAIN.
Very glitchy app
I love the content on this streaming service but the app is so glitchy that it's not worth the trouble.
Problems with the App
While using the App, I have encountered numerous problems with certain content and continuously being logged out of devices that I use. I want to utilize the App as much as possible but find myself frustrated more often than not that I have to go through the log in process constantly. I don’t know if this is a common glitch for everyone or isolated to me. None the less I find myself moving to other APPs because of these problems. Vindication in particular has been one of the most notorious for issues of glitching then kicking me out of the program altogether. I am hoping these are issues being addressed because the content being provided is really the only content i want to enjoy on my tv and other devices.

Getting worse
Update: Remains a useless drain from my bank account. Just go ahead and refund everyone and shut this garbage down. Frndly does a better job at managing your offerings through their app; check in with them, might be a good teaching moment. And yet, as calculated, no reply from anyone. “You’re doin great” Abandoned? Where are the replies to complaints/reviews? Following up from canceling the day purchased and has not improved but only gotten worse. Will not stay logged in, programming is dated, Angel far surpasses whatever this is supposed to be.
Be careful when signing up - unable to cancel
The movies themselves are nice but once you sign up you literally cannot cancel. The app or online doesn’t allow cancellation and when you reach out to customer support they are “closed” and the emails to support goes unanswered. Not saying we don’t like some of the movies because we do - however we also like to have control over our subscription and you do NOT have control over that.

a wonderful app
This app is good especially during movie nights. Having faith based movies is so good.
Issues with Playback
Purchased to watch a specific movie which apparently doesn’t work. Refunds and downgrades are seemingly impossible even when access is a problem. Frustrated with the run around.

Love that our country is reading through the Bible this week. I have really enjoyed it. it has reassured me that our Lord and Savior is in our government and with us every day of our lives.

Bait and switch tactic
I’m really disappointed with this platform. You offer multiple seasons of a show, get viewers invested, and then suddenly lock access behind a premium upgrade mid-season (in my case, episode five). That feels misleading and frustrating. If content is going to require a higher-tier subscription, that should be made clear upfront—not after people have already committed their time. Because of this experience, I’ll be canceling my membership. I expected better transparency and a more straightforward user experience.
Love the idea but so hard to find and to sign up
First it was super hard to find the app on my tv, Tablet and iPhone. Even looking at the websites instructions on how to didn’t help unfortunately. I managed through the app finally but was only able to punch in numbers instead of the letter and number combo for my postal code. I managed going around somehow with copy paste. I don’t want to spread bad words but rather make the app owner aware so they can fix it and more people can use the app as I love the idea of this app.
Happy
I have really enjoyed the America Reads the Bible. The only issue I have is it freezes a LOT on my phone. . Which is an issue to thaw it out. I watched a movie last night , enjoyed it, and it never froze once!
Pureflix
Does not work correctly on it’s own on my Smart Samsung TV programs are low color and voice is not loud enough and programs come on the TV real slow. When I had it through Amazon prime it would pop up fast color great and volume great. I do not know what the problem is but I have been trying to connect this program for weeks. Finally had to get an neighbor yo help me and it still is a mess.
Difficult to access
Had difficult time accessing PF on my TV. Took multiple tries and direction and only occasionally able to see ARTB. Disappointed! Thankfully I could access it on my phone.
Decent app, full screen would be really nice!
The movies are clean but pretty repetitive. It’s always about happy endings due to miraculous change of heart and a romanticized version of Christian life. One big criticism of the app is that it won’t fill the screen. It keeps the image quite small and makes it somewhat hard to watch. Would be really nice to have that fixed. Thanks!
