Love the app, but I have a few suggestions!
I love the app, but I have two recommendations: please make the skip forward and skip backwards buttons much larger. It’s often very difficult to click on them. Also, when moving the scrubber along the progress bar, it would be useful to have a preview of where you are in the movie/episode, as is done in other streaming platforms.
Commercials on the live stream in the app?
Why are there commercials in the live stream in the app? And I'm always getting kicked out and I have to re enter my password. Do better
Great app when working!
I have had this after at least a year tried to go in on it earlier this week to watch something and is like my account never existed even though we have been paying 799 a month. I had to call Hallmark Customer Care and go in and cancel the one I had on there already and make a new one through them. It worked that night but then I tried to get on it last night it wouldn’t work. I tried to get on it this morning and sign in and now it’s saying they’re having technical problems. How am I suppose to enjoy this streaming app if I can’t watch anything due to their technical difficulties?!? The fact that you can only have two screens! My daughter has to make her own account! While the other streaming will allow up to 4 screens. Please get this app working!!
Glitchy
Ours glitches out and won’t even open half of the time. It’s pretty pricy to be a subscriber, and you certainly don’t get what you pay for when it is constantly signing you out or when you can’t get signed back in properly. I often the the circle of death as my kids call it. The loading circle that never stops loading.
Great programs, not so great app
I love the shows, it the functionality of the app is lacking. It doesn’t keep show progress up to date between devices when watching a series, it would be helpful have a watchlist row on the Home Screen, and fast forwarding thru recaps and intros many time takes you to the end of the episode instead of just fast forwarding. It needs some work.

Needs work
Love Hallmark. The app, needs some work. Home does not want to work and is doing a weird glitchy thing then black. Not sure why I need to keep signing in either. Good overall though. Only place currently I believe to watch Good Witch in b/t season movies specials. ✨ *synced to Apple TV to find/continue what I was watching last.
Great content, flawed app
Although I absolutely love the content for Hallmark+, so much so that it is a paid app… When downloaded on my TV, the app freezes almost daily. This requires me to uninstall it and reinstall. Hallmark needs to do better if they want to increase their market share. This type of frustration would not be easily tolerated by those not tech savvy.
App Inconsistent
Love watching movies on my iPad but I don’t think I’ve been able to watch a full movie on the Hallmark app without interruption due to app issues. Frozen screens, IP Restriction message, even completely logging me out of the app in the middle of a movie. This is especially annoying for Always-On channels when movie continues. I work from home and don’t have issues with Zoom/Teams meetings or other streaming services so know it’s not Internet access. The issue is better when watching on smart tv vs iPad, but not always.
Love It
It is an incredible App. You see movies and series not shown on TV. Also! Love the “Watch every Hallmark movie by year!” option. It goes back to 1989 until 2026. So worth it. You can also put an actor/actress’ name in the search area and find all their movies/series.

Has potential
The app has come a long way in the last year or so. It has potential to be a great app. Would love the ability to delete watch next/continue watching titles. I don’t even have auto play selected (don’t like it/personal preference) but when I finish watching any movie, something I’ve not ever clicked on to watch is sitting in the continue watching queue. Very frustrating and annoying. I get it for series, but irrelevant for standalone movies. Keep on working on the log in issues as it’s still requiring me to sign in every couple times. I only use one device and the same wifi. Don’t know how other apps can keep me logged in but this one can’t for some reason. Thank you for your time and consideration!

I love the content but, I don’t think I have ever been able to watch a movie without getting booted out multiple times. I can’t decide if it’s worth the extra money

App itself stinks
I love Hallmark! The movies, shows, and cast! But the app itself stinks. It constantly freezes up and logs out. It’s annoying.
Glitchy on AppleTV
This app does well on most of my devices but on AppleTV it is very poor. It takes forever to load and I frequently have to logout and reopen it because it will not do anything. Please figure out why it is so poor on Apple TV.
Always makes me reenter login credentials
The AppleTV app constantly logs out and we have to reenter credentials. Very annoying!
Censorship
I’ve started watching the Murdoch Mysteries. I love this series, however, Hallmark has decided to censor parts of this show and in some cases skip entire episodes which is pure BS. I find this totally offensive! If a series doesn’t meet your narrow standards, then don’t put it on your streaming platform, instead of insulting us. You should be ashamed of yourself!
Eh
I like having a direct app to play all things Hallmark. However, it’s extremely glitchy. I have to constantly re-sign into it (daily) as I start and stop movies throughout a day. It’s an okay app, but I feel like it could be better, like other streaming services.
So many glitches…
This app is really frustrating. It appears to proceed to the next episode, doesn’t move to the next episode. It just spins and spins on a black screen. Which means every single time I have to close the app and reopen. It forces me to sign back in every single time, which is pretty crazy for.
Great shows….but lousy app
We have the app on our Apple TV device. It asks us to sign in over and over. Sometimes even when we sign in it says “subscribe” next to the movie. Also, it locks up after watching 1 movie, making it impossible to select another movie with out closing the app and restarting. We have excellent internet and it still cuts the movie off and returns to the main menu. We love Hallmark movie so we put up with all the bother, but feel the app could be greatly improved for the Apple TV.
App keeps kicking me out
Oh my goodness I love the app but is there anyway that you guys can fix the login issue literally sometimes it’s like 5 to 10 times a day. I have to re-login. The shows are great, but the app really needs work.

The most irritating App! Constantly requesting to sign in even in the middle of a movie. Down time and useless support.
Help for the "continue watching"
I solved this problem by "forwarding" to the end of the movie or show. Make sure to unmark the want to watch. Most disappear from the section.
iOS 18 no longer supported?!
The info on this app says 16 and higher supported but I have 18 and it is saying it no longer supports the version I have. I tried removing and redownloading and it still doesn’t work- disappointing. Please fix!
Always frustrated
This app is the worst streaming app I have ever used. It does not stay signed in, it kicks you off in between episodes and can’t reboot. I go to reset the app and you have to sign in every single time. No remember me button. It’s just so bad. Not acceptable in my opinion. Also, the closed captions are incredibly small on my tablet. Minuscule. There is no way I can find to make it bigger. Please fix these issues.
Solid content. Awful app.
If you like Hallmark TV, you'll enjoy the content, but the app is horrific. There are lots of glitches, and it isn't user-friendly. It's getting better, but there's still so much to be done. Also, they've started inserting Hallmark commercials before content you have to watch. There is no option to skip past. I resent being forced to watch commercials on a service I pay a subscription fee for. It's pretty infuriating.
AppleTV app

Lately, every time I come back into the app I need to enter my username and password. This has never been a problem before, and it’s annoying. I will probably discontinue my subscription and find another movie streaming app if it’s not fixed.
