It won’t load
I downloaded this app approximately two weeks ago. It asked me to create an account but once I did, it was stuck on the ‘verifying you are human’ page and hair saying loading. I have tried multiple times daily to access the app and once I sign in, it yields the same results. I also tried using google and Safari with the same problems so I’m not sure if it’s a site-wide issue or just my phone/PC. I have an iPhone 13.

Disappointed and Moving On
Just sharing my experience—I found the auto-renewal process confusing, with a very short cancellation window and a reminder that was easy to miss. When I reached out to customer service, they weren’t helpful in resolving it. For me, the content no longer justifies the cost—there are so many better, more current sources out there now. What was once useful has really lost its value over time. I won’t be resubscribing, and I hope the service evolves into something more relevant

As a nursing student, these videos are great at breaking down complex topics and making them easier to understand!
Downloads don’t work when you’re offline
What exactly is the point of allowing downloads when you can’t access them in airplane mode or when you’re otherwise offline? It’s just a waste of data. The app itself barely works whenever you’re not online and the download functionality is very glitchy.

Finding it hard
Great Content, Technical Issues Need Attention
I really appreciate the medical content provided by this app; the knowledge it offers and its presentation style are outstanding. However, I'm encountering several technical issues. For instance, when I minimize the app and then reopen it, or when it runs in the background for a while, the screen often turns black and fails to play videos. Additionally, videos frequently don’t load, just showing a loading icon indefinitely. Due to these problems, I find myself using the website via Safari, which works flawlessly. It's also worth noting that the app seems underdeveloped compared to the website. I hope this feedback can help improve the app, as it really has great potential.
Very good app
It is very good app ; it covers everything in medicine
App version is HORRIBLE
Glitches CONSTANTLY. Sometimes just keeps trying to replay a video over and over again, while I’m trying to search for another topic or play a different video or do flashcards. It just repeatedly starts trying to play the same video over and over again. Also will randomly start a video over at the beginning when I’m in the middle of it. Lots of other glitches too.
Incredible content
The content is amazing, concise and precise. A very helpful organise and arrange thoughts. App hangs very often. Seeding through video often ends up refreshing the whole page.
Downloads unavailable in Airplane mode
I downloads videos to watch when I’m on the plane. This currently doesn’t work, defeating the purpose of allowing downloads. Please fix.
Excellent resource but some bugs
I rely on using this for preparation before lectures (PA Student) but it doesn’t load videos very well off of WiFi and searching for videos doesn’t bring up the most relevant results. Sometimes I start typing out a word and it changes video results as I type with very odd results and some videos I want to watch but when I write the whole work that video isn’t part of the results.

Great content, but the worst app I’ve ever used
Every second time I pause and go back 10 seconds, it refreshes the entire video making it start from the beginning which is really one of the very few user unfriendly behaviour of the app Apart from this, content is concise and just the perfect amount of information Hope this review brings about a change
Buggy if I want to watch a video
I will watch one video and if I want to watch another video it doesn’t load and I have to close the app and open again please resolve this issue

Good material, terrible app
I really wish I could use this resource, but the app consistently crashes and glitches. I have tried everything on the website for trouble shooting, but it still does not work on my Apple devices. I’m lucky if I can watch one video a day on my iPad.

The app itself has some bugs. It doesn’t pause and will even keep playing if you get out of the app. The sound quits working occasionally and it won’t go full screen when you click the full screen button. Great product though but the app needs work

Videos not playing even after update
I really enjoy osmosis, but I am frequently experiencing videos not playing, and when I want to replay videos after watching them, they stay in completed mode, and I’m not able to restart them. I even downloaded the videos and saved them but I’m still not able to replay. Download the latest update, even restarted my phone, but I’m still having the same issue with videos not playing on iOS. Will update review if bug fixes get released.
Quizzes not accessible on iPhone
I see the daily practice quizzes come up but I can’t setup my own quiz on the iPhone.

Completely broken
I cannot get this app to play any videos. Tried going through the troubleshoots/common fixes listed on their support page, like deleting and reinstalling the app, and now the sign-in buttons are completely unresponsive. My professor is trying to assign us videos to watch and I’m unable to get even the first video to open.
Need some of the older features
Great Content, the new UI is amazing. The update is good, app doesn’t crash anymore. But I cannot find some of the older features like marking a completed video. Otherwise zero complaints.

GREAT study tool but needs user-friendliness improvements
I am a current PA student and use Osmosis quite a bit to aid in my studies. The content, visuals, and explanations are phenomenal but the app itself seems to be in need of some improvements with regard to user-friendliness. The app often crashes after I select a video to play. In addition, at the end of a video, the app suggests other videos/content to proceed to checking out; however, if I want to simply replay or rewind to the video I just watched, it is not very intuitive and is actually difficult to do because the video progress bar that you’d normally just slide to the left to rewind/restart the video is often hidden and difficult to pull up. It would be helpful if there was a “replay” or “start over” button at the end of videos.
A game changer !!!

I have truly seen my understanding and my exam scores skyrocket. However, what I feel sets it apart most is its commitment to free accessible education. As a user, I appreciate the app's dedication to making learning accessible to all.
Don’t see its use
Honestly, if you have access to internet you’re better off using chrome or safari to log in to their website. The apps abilities are VERY limited. If you have study schedules you can’t access them, and on top of that, when I try to download videos it ends up downloading the wrong ones. Maybe it’s a me thing but I don’t like it. On the other hand, their entire video library is amazing and website resources are incredible, (definitely worth buying their subscription) which is why I’m so disappointed you can’t do much on their app.

I absolutely love osmosis as a study tool but the app and even when using it on safari it crashes so much! Many times when i try to forward or rewind a video i even have to close the app and open it again.
Delayed beginning, need fixing!
There is nothing to complain about the content but the app alone responsible for the 3 star review. Every time I open the app it took at least 40 sec to start.
Visual Learners Rejoice
I am very impressed with the video series and the interface. This app is user friendly and the resources that go along with the videos make studying and retention easier for me.
Amazing content quality but incredibly poor mobile app
Before explaining why I gave this a 1 star I want to make it clear that Osmosis is a phenomenal learning tool with amazing content- it’s videos, notes, and questions are all clearly made with love and attention, and they have helped me tremendously in my studies. Given all that, it hurts me to leave this review- it is a tremendously bad mobile app. List of issues I’ve run into in just a brief amount of time using the app before switching back to the web browser version: - The app is essentially a super watered down and restricted version of osmosis.org with very few of the benefits you pay for with your prescription. Unless you plan to use this app exclusively as a video viewer, I would not recommend it. - There is no Quiz Builder feature, so if you wanted to make an assessment on content areas, this feature straight up just does not exist. To do quiestions, you have to search up individual topics, click on the topic which then auto plays the video, and then pause the video to scroll down to the 3-4 USMLE style questions on that topic… I genuinely have no words - The app suffers from long load times to populate video libraries as well as to load videos (not an internet issue, I double checked) - I regularly encountered weird glitches like where selecting a new subject will populate the previously searched subjects videos instead, forcing me to restart the app - The notes viewer is difficult to use: rather than making pages turn like any other reading app on a touch screen device, you can’t turn the page by swiping and instead have to hit the next page button at the bottom TLDR; Not only is the app a buggy and unresponsive mess, but it is just a nightmare to navigate, and it is deliberately restrictive with its features for no fathomable reason. I understand the logic of making a more streamlined version of the main product for mobile use, but gutting it nearly completely for the sake of “minimalism”? Or under the assumption that people would only use it as a bed time supplement study tool? I genuinely don’t understand what other reason there could be for an app to not simply implement the same features for mobile use that it makes freely available for web browser

Amazing Content, but iPad app has gotten really laggy and with lots of glitches .
Pls work on slow refresh of app and adding some new features
Over time , I go through app but always slow refresh and slow working, also add new features to go through the set of topics through subject via search after opening the related subject ( let’s assume I have to read cardiovascular system after entering the pathology, then I have to do lot of work and time consuming to reach the cardiovascular system through scrolling, instead ur team must work on it … so that I approach given sets of topic via search after opening of subjects)…
Flash cards crash
The new Osmosis app is very nice, but the flashcard review keeps me incessantly crashing. I’ve tried reloading the app, but still crashes constantly. They really should fix this.

Bring back the QBank
I used to be able to make my own sets of practice questions from the Qbank, but now I can’t anymore. I didn’t get osmosis for the videos, I made it for the Qbank! Bring this function back.
Good app but infested with lot of bugs !
Video explanation is crisp and Easy to Understand; whilst the major problem is If i go on touch a topic eg :cardiology and next when i press diff system it seems to doesn’t change the topic and remains static with the previous topic ; so in order to change a different topic i have to close the app and reopen again !!!! Plus i have also noticed a misinterpretation of touch response of a topic ( if i touch a topic the subsequent next or something else starts to play ) hope the app development-team fixed this issue to make the learning hassle free!
